People who often experience feelings of inadequacy tend to look for mistakes in others to compensate for their own incompetence. It usually wears out in people once they become more comfortable with their own performance, though... try giving it some time .

Hmmm. I can understand why you're frustrated. About 10 months ago, the Tempe City Council decided that they would install cameras in every single damn streetlight within 3 blocks of the main University campus. They gave everyone 1 free ticket to adjust, so things weren't all that bad. I got 1 ticket that I was able to get out of because that week I was driving my mother's SUV and she just called and told them that wasn't her . So if you take that into account, the cops being there is not much different than the cameras. Actually, it's way better. Soon enough, you'll stop seeing cops hiding in dark corners in all major cities. It's just a lot more profitable to have cameras installed. Maddy (:

Yeah, Sacramone was definitely out of her depth. I was just a bit (read 'a lot') frustrated at the annoying announcer constantly saying that the Chinese competitors were underaged. They certainly looked it, but if the officials weren't able to figure out then it's their own fault. Perhaps this very confusing situation will promote caution. Did you see the Chinese floor exercise routines? Damn. They put Shawn Johnson to shame .

Unfortunately i think that CRVBoy went over the hill a long time ago. With their very limited new or interested members, the administration dwindled and could not provide enough inertia for the site to evolve. When a site stops its development, it no longer attracts members and that's when it reaches a halt. It's a natural occurrence (well at least as natural as it gets on the net), and not really all that sad or shocking. Hopefully if they do close down shortly, the remaining admins/members will leave clean footprints to be remembered by. Maddy (:

XD Thanks guys. As for cutting my hair or not, I recently got one, so it's actually not as long as in the last two pictures. It's a little longer than the first one, but I'm letting it grow the length of the second picture. My hairdresser wants to do some highlights... I've only been acquainted with the definition of 'homosexual' for about 7 years; however, I've been one my entire life and it wasn't hard for me to put two and two together. I've always known what phobia is: as a small child I was diagnosed with lalophobia (though it was really only timidity), so I knew what -phobia was. As a psychology student, I like to confine words to their root and analyze on my own... I don't like dictionaries to lead me astray. I believe this 'new definition' is doing exactly that. We humans like definitions because they allow us to classify things effortlessly... but we have to remember that these often only harm clear perceptions. The problem with these definitions (the newly conceived homophobia and HOCD) is that they target idiosyncratic behavior. The more specific (or definitive) a definition is, the less reliable it becomes. So I guess my answer to your second question is NO... this definition does not in any way or form improve my understanding or change my perception of homophobia. And I'm not good with names, so I won't pretend to know or care about the third question. Maddy
