Karl is painfully dealing with his survivor's guilt and grief. He has lived through danger and being shot down. He is very worried about his friend Jorgen who has been missing for so long. Meanwhile Karl still has to act as a warrior and pilot. He is keeping his feelings bottled up inside which is so unhealthy.

Will has set a Wednesday appointment with his therapist. He should have more information about Travis and Zach and his growing understanding to learn more from his appointment. I hope Will is helped by his therapist and we find out what he is thinking during and afterwards.

Maybe the investigator over the two brothers being turned wanted to find no fault in the action. She could have given a special report to Lord Caspian. Her senior, Caspian, wanted peace and to have evidence to hold over Konstantin and maybe Kavan to use when he needed to control the clan or specific members. Perhaps, the investigator was able to find out what Kavan's secret powers are and has told Lord Caspian. Kavan has hidden part of his powers from discovery. Will Lord Caspian put him to use with what he knows about Kavan. Will Kavan be partly blackmailed? His brothers are growing nicely into their new roles. I am looking forward to see how the trio helps his clan. Their father--the absent father and sperm donor--now, it seems left them because he was seeing a female shifter. Was the father turned also? Will the father and his female partner meet his sons in the future?

Life is a whirlwind for Will. Things connect and he sometimes find unexpected pleasures. The Green Day advanced album copy is starting to be very memorable and helpful to him. His upcoming Travis meeting is critical, and he cannot forget he has to give that frat guy the best blow job in his life by adding his finger as Will promised. It will be enjoyable and mutually agreeable as well as open to new things as Will suggested and Travis appeared to want. I bet Zach will really miss Will and Zach should have even fewer and limited options for sexual enjoyment. I wonder how he might try to get back into Will's good graces? Texting saying just he was sorry is an obvious , insincere ploy. Is he going to pursue Will now or maybe hold off for a cooling period and comeback with vigor? Is Zach eventually going to find a new replacement for Will? I think Travis is not going to be happy with Zach after he talks to Will.

Will wants to tell his side of the events and his reasoning to Travis. He wants to keep Travis as a good friend and playmate. Will has not thought it yet, but if Zach was abusive to him, his long time friend, then it is likely he could be abusive to Travis at some point in the future when he is mad. I hope Travis listens to Will and does not have a pre-conceived, wrongheaded understanding of the fight. Travis does not need more drama in his life with his father spying on him. One look at the banged-up Will should show something serious has happened and make him realize quickly a poll was not Zach's problem.

Will is growing and learning from Stef and Darius. He returns to a good sense of balance when pushed off a cliff. Stef is teaching him to be a good businessman in his image and with his strengths. Will has the right instincts to act and to ask. Darius helped Will understand what has happened to him in context with other abusers and why Zach will continue to be abusive. Zach has been hurt and is taken to the hospital. He said he ran into a pole and did not mention a fight with Will. How could he and not get into more trouble with others who suspected his relationship with Will? He texted Will saying he was sorry. Will begged off, He is going to end their relationship. How he communicates it is up in the air now? Still hanging today is telling Travis the truth with Will not wanting to lose him. I hope they come to an amicable understanding.

You tied up so many loose ends--Caleb is depressed and too far away from recovering. He knows people care about him and forgive him. He has to act but others will keep him in mind more actively. The hybrids made the move to Montana and met their parents. They had a warm welcoming family re-connection. They are being treated must better than in the past and that is impressing them. The use of adaptive tools really in making them feel much better. They missed communicating, Tyler and Elijah felt good about their mates. Their hybrid mates needed them. They have much to discover and find about their limits about physical and romantic activities. I am sure kbois will handle those steps with delicacy. It's sweet to know Elijah smells woodsy and like peanuts. Tyler ? As their time in Montana progresses, I hope we find out the extent to which the hybrids can be made more human. Wonderful---Matthew and Rusty will be together. Mathhew is his tutor after Rusty turned so many down Rusty liked him. He asked to see a girl's breasts and she said no. Karl is no longer on the same boat on which he was leaving France and running away from the Nazi soldiers. He awakes scared. and fearing his death Where is he? Is he safe in England? Is he on a different French ship on the way to England? Or is he in a cell being held by the Nazi's ? Or...? I think the dream is a nightmare arising from the trauma seeing his people killed by soldiers while running to the boat and then seeing French savior being killed and dying next to him on the boat. Maybe there was a further fight on his rescue boat? He has put together his fears from seeing people killed next to him and sexual fantasies into the dream. He is worried what is now going to happen to him now that he is in a different place and not being hidden in France. The dream is a coping mechanism created by his inner worries and uncertainties. He cannot understand what is going on and is worried for his life. He needs more information. "But no matter where he was, he wasn’t ready to do anything right now." Karl is being passive and will wait for someone to come to him.

They are great kids. The museum trip was interesting to them and they paid attention to the stories presented. Tomorrow they will visit a zoo with Armand and the grandparents. kbois are you hinting strongly that the loose ends in this book will be tied together as much as possible in your final book in this series? This could mean progress is made with the hybrids, but not fully achieved by the end of this book. You can give us a huge cliffhanger at the end of the book. 5 more chapters is not much time to solve a great puzzle. Or maybe, you will be kindhearted and resolve the hybrid issue? I am betting on the cliffhanger option.

The chase is on--Essell and Garjah are the targets. The goal now is not to capture them. It is to kill them. Wow ! The Kardoval must be very worried about Garjah. Let's hope Timok's plan works to use them as decoys and pawns. Ases hopes to retrieve his mech on his own. He can use it to broadcast a message from Garjah. Bouncer stands ready to defend Essell. He seems more aware each day and Essell is detecting this view. Things should come to a head shortly.

Karl was almost killed. A Frenchwomen stepped up and helped shoot the Nazi's with Karl. His trip to the boat in the harbor was perilous. Clement died in his arms. Karl was so tormented. He could not brry Clement at sea. However, he was knocked out by someone, and the boat was leaving with him. The boat's captain will take care of the body, I assume. I hope Karl makes it to England. His luck has not failed him yet.
