Mark, I am deeply enjoying this story. I am though feeling a bit of melancholy since I sense it will end soon with Granger not fully satisfied--maybe one or two more chapters to finish what you have started. You began Northern Exposure in August of 2017 and have given us a great ride and fascinating tales. I hope your next book on Granger is not far away. I know there is much more canvas for you to write on Granger's land and sea adventures. He will be needed in command at the sea eventually and for a long time. The Franch navy is a formidable enemy. Might he be Nelson's captain of the fleet again and this time at the battle of Trafalgar in 1805? Napoleon will scare Europe and Britain through 1815 and only his defeat in battle on land stops the French who are more than halfway towards building 150 ships of the line to out gun Britain easily,

In the bigger picture, the turning of two brothers is a side note --so far. Henri Delacour , we are told, had a devious plan running when he let the remaining Night Clan live. Does he expect the clan to implode under Mothers leadership? Is he expecting an internal civil war? Hmmm. What ever happens , Delacour must think these Night Clan vampires are not material to his greater plan and adding two untrained vampires to a very reduced clan without most of its top fighters is not going to stop what he thinks is going to take place. On a personal level, Kavan saved his two brothers, He loved them. I think the way they died and in one case informed consent was given looks like safe turnings. We will find out soon, if anyone is challenged. It still is a real concern. Kavan now knows Konstantin can silently follow him. He is going to have to help Nathan adjust and to train his brother and chide, Rylan. Will they have any of his special skills or will they have other ones? Adding a scientist ( helping doc?) and a police officer ( a potential tough fighter) might eventually strengthen the clan when they are fully trained as vampires. The family dynamics might help the two new vampires adjust and eventually create a solid, skilled team.

Colin and Armand are separated by a plane flight for the first time. They are missing each other. The kids are missing Colin. It is a touching family situation. While Colin is gone they will be busy and we see old friends. I g hope Coilin can keep the orphanage plans on track. We are told something seems wrong with Colin's father--He talks too much and too loudly. He makes people feel uneasy. He is going back home and may not return. Colin is going to be tested to see if he can get his Faher to have a check-up and professional evaluation. Is his father ill?

OK--I am worried about the pups and their mental state and their ability to relate well to their mates. They are sexual beings who were used often by others as kinky sex toys. Their owner was their pimp and they were unwilling sex workers. I am glad they seem not to be feral. But they grew up stunted and maybe had a one-dimensional view of their worth as they learned about sex and their sexual nature and how they can relate with others. They were used as sex toys and probably not treated well by mean guys. Corbin said he saw men going into what was their area at all times. They were likely sexually abused against their will for years. This long term aggressive sexual role had to impact them. Will the hybrids have kept enough of their shifter nature to be able to repair any physical injuries and sexual diseases given to them? Tyler and Elijah are going to be severely challenged to help their mates recover to live more human like balanced lives even before any possible solution to their hybrid physical nature can be found. They are going to need to see themselves as more than sexual beings. Tyler was worried his dick would be bitten off. The hybrids will want to connect and enjoy their mates. They are not now being forced to relate to their mates. It might not be in the cards to have his dick bitten off. I expect Tyler's mate will know what to do safely. and has done it before. I wonder if he might not find his mate wants lots of sex and has been taught to please or understand what a human male wants. The issue may be to find ways to relate more than sexually once they calm down and get acquainted.

I love how your mind works, You create such interesting characters with depth and minds who enjoy sex. " I do have a thing written in a very incipient phase that features two dads, one of them being very much like Reacher... so you see, with me, all bases are covered, lol. Anyway, I don't know when I'll be able to write that book, but I so want to bring those characters to life, too.' I will want to read this book when you are able to take it on. Meanwhile, Rusty and Matty is going to be a fun, compelling story, I am sure there will be twists and turns and cliffhangers. Rusty is ready for the right guy and Matty wants Rusty--badly.

Do not forget we have not figured out who introduced Granger to the future Queen, Victoria. She was the niece of the Duke of Clarence and St Andrew, later William IV ( 1830-1837). Granger and he have been sexually active so far in this story.

BTW--I just binged watch Jack Reacher on Amazon Prime at a friend's house on vacation. The guy playing Reacher is 39 and he is tall, handsome and imposing with a supremely muscled chest that will make the mighty Thor proud. He is also very skilled at fighting and destroying the bad guys with his hands and with weapons. He is a true hero. So, Ms. Fox consider checking out the stud on Reacher if you get the chance. Purely for research on character ideas.......

Standing back, it is insightful that Granger did not dwell on his personal financial situation. He might well be significantly better off if his aunt leaves him a great estate with a sizeable income. He needs to contact the lawyer who has entreated him to see him as soon as possible. Great things could evolved from the will. I can see possibilities. He could also be able to move his Catholic tenants to this estate since it was not subject to the previous restraints. If he is given the whole estate, he might later give it to a son as a wedding present. In the meantime, his current estate manager could look over his new property to see if improvements are needed in any areas. If the estate is important enough will Granger's position at court and title be influenced? Granger thinks about and wants a happy home with a dutiful, loyal, loving wife and he wants a ship. I think his family matters will please him when he arrives home. Lord St Vincent is focused in fixing the corrupt and inefficient naval yards. He may want Granger to help him before he is open to giving him a ship. He knows Granger can get things done. But these adventures at home are probably set for your next book, Mark. BTW, Daventry is supposed to get the public credit for the successful Russian turnabout and peace treaty. I expect he will get an award from the King. Any chance Granger will be advanced or awarded in some way by the king?

Wonderful--Rusty has found his cat boy--0nly he does not know it yet. The cat boy to be has been crushing on him since his freshman years but thinks Rusty is unattainable. They are going to meet--it is fated. Matty Han will be one of Rusty's tutoring candidates and they will be stunned again when they meet. I can picture it now. I hope Matty does not run away again. Rusty does not want sex. He wants love--the love he sees Jonathan and Maddox show. Rusty is being draw to their example. He is being primed to want Matthew Han, Korean boy band somewhat example.

Great ending comment capsulizing this happy, complex, very interesting and capable family---They all loved each other. Who cannot be enthralled with Liebe in action, the kindhearted, very smart overachiever!

Wow--things happened so fast, Granger lost his ship when he landed. A captain was ready to take over. At least, he knew and respected the captain who was fully proud of Granger. He left a great, much improved fight ship. The men cheered him when he left. He and Daventry are going to Brentwood with a sizeable guard to protect them from highway men. His Norwegian LT is becoming sicker and has a gangrenous wound. He needs his great surgeon to apply maggots to clean the wound. Daventry is going to support Anson in his academic career. He will be a wise, helpful advisor. Granger openly admitted to Daventry he is worried about what Lord St Vincent will do to him and what Caroline has done. Has she been proper and not caused a scandal? Daventry thinks he need to find love and a wife to complete his life. Can he settle down? I am surprised at Granger's serious double-barreled anxiety and how he now worries about Caroline. This matter has only come up as he arrived at the port and is facing the unknown with his future unsure. I hope things fall into place for him soon. I am betting he has unfounded concerns about Caroline. Lord St Vincent is not showing his cards about Granger yet. Granger should find out his status promptly when he delivers his reports to Lord St Vincent.

I was wrong--I said in part--'-I think it is 40-60 that Zach will blow up and walk away from Will for a long while. He will still have Travis to fuck and they are living close by each other" I did not go far enough about the impact of Zach's blow up. Zach really blew up and acted out badly in a jealous rage. He hurt Will which I did not expect. He now makes Will not feel safe around him. Will does want to be abused by Zach anymore, He has known Zach act aggressively like this to others, but not to him. He did not see any feeling of love in Zach--no disappointment . Zach was a jealous fool who carelessly did not listen or restrain himself. He knew best and Will was wrong by showing him up with his girl and boy. Zach lost a good friend who stood by him and who could have helped him as his career progresses. When Travis sees the injured Will he may decide to give up Zach. too. Travis does not need this drama or potential abuse.

OK-Rafe and Andre experienced a new test of fire from home. They both said no to manipulation and threats. They cut off their phone and walked away and back to their school priorities. Imagine Andre said no to an alpha voice command! What was fascinating was the fact that the headmaster said do not worry about their threats. The school has barriers preventing anyone inside being hurt. Plus, he knows the Coat will soon be in serious trouble and not able to deal with Rafe. How does he know this?

What a pleasant time in Paris. It is a captivating city. Coming back a second time enabled them to have a more comfortable, welcoming time. I am glad Coiln, and Armand made sure to include old friends and insured the kids had a full set of fun. activities. I can see puppet shows will be on tap back home. By going home for a short trip, Colin will make sure any issues or problems are addressed with the orphanage transition to a new space.

Karl is so lonely and took a serious risk by walking outside. Then he felt close to his savior in his underground room when he returned and made to kiss him. He was rebuffed and his savior's boy friend caught them. He is already jealous and suspicious of him. Now he knows things will be much more difficult and he has an enemy who wants him gone. Tyler was more influenced and shocked by the hybrids. He collapsed and felt--What the fuck-one is my mate He did feel a strong urge to protect and did not want to leave them. Tyler should have more than Elijah to accept with a shifter mate. Things might transition easier for Elijah. Tyler will have to change his plans or expectations. He has fucked happily a wolf shifter but did not expect to make it a lifelong practice with a male and/or shifter or even feel a need to transition to a shifter like his mate eventually. Can he stay a human with a wolf shifter mate? Ben and Zev are arriving to help Tyler and Elijah with the hybrids. Maybe they can help the two couples communicate and get along better. They can confirm they are mates.

I do not think kbois could be so cruel as to force the twins to be put down as hopelessly feral Just after seeing so much pain and heartbreak in her area, she will not want to bring it to others with the hybrids being killed after finding their mates.

just saw the pics you posted of the hybrid now twins' Damn--they are cute and full heartthrobs Tyler and Elijah should be able to fall for them when the hybrids settle down I also agree they are not feral after living like humans and watching TV. They might be very horny too since they have missed out on male to male sex in their prison. I assume the boys have not been into incest and need a real mate. Finding their mate has to excite them sexually.

Ok--no feet talk--kbois But, the main sensation about the hybrids you get from the chapter is their wolf voices and howls. Couples should be able to talk to each other. You have told us they have mouths and hands and arms and asses with a tail and by inference normal male bits like humans. So any romantic action does not fully bring up bestiality connections

Great boy culture repartee surprising since it is a first for Essell, Garjah and Timok. So, Ases ( and Essell) have plan--sort of Ases' mech will broadcast the true problems of the Kardoval and Garjah will be an alternate leader and spokesman The people will be told they can get better with outside help. The Kardoval will not go down peacefully, I bet. Great danger lies ahead.

Full Curve ball--Wow! The twin are the mates of Elijah and Tyler. The howls heard by the pack 30 miles away conveyed that the twins said they found their mates But how will they get the hybrids to Montana and how can they connect with the two hybrids. They do not speak human. They are not physically fully human. So, if they really are their mates will they be unable to relate in normal ways at some point. No hybrid so far has been brought back to a human form.?

Amazing--Asher and Elias are connected in history. Elias was murdered by a distant relative of Asher's under the orders of Mayor Henry's wife. She must have hated Elias who was the out of wedlock product of the Mayor and the alleged witch, Maggie. Elias was at the grave to carve Maggie's name into the gravestone so she would not be forgotten. Elias said before he left that he loved Asher. He held him no ill will for his family role in his murder. Elias also said he was not courting the daughter of the mayor and the woman who had him killed. The ends have been tied up. Elias knows his name and what happened. Can he rest in peace and never touch Asher again? If this were a Hallmark story, Asher would connect later with a guy who looks just like Elias and find his soulmate. Asher might also find the witch who was not in the grave and have to help her out like Elias.
