BUT I've vowed to myself to be quicker this time, and I'll put in my two cents worth ... Thank you for answering the questions we have about Connor, however, we're all now very anxious about this abusive policeman / bastard / scum of the earth / dickwad / piece of sh-t / filth / vermin ... How should he be dealt with ? To be proactive and seek Brian out and then what ? To sit and wait for him to come looking for Connor and risk the young man's safety and the pack being exposed ? In the centuries that shifters and humans interacted, how would this kind of conflict be resolved ? Had there been a risk of discovery by a human, how would a pack react ? Would that human disappear ? So many more questions dredged up ... I'm with @LitLover , Tobyn would have to explain things that Hugh and he did together to Kellar ... but I'm ... Kellar was hilarious at the end of this chapter ! What was that about a longerer chapter ? I've read through this in a split second and I'm craving more ... more ... much more ...

It would be so easy to call Declan a coward, but I agree with drought, he would be struggling with a lot of emotions ... BUT sometimes a person has to stand up to what he / she feels is wrong, making excuses will not absolves one's complicity in whatever injustice being perpetrated ... especially in the case of Declan's witnessing the bullying ... We want Declan to be a better man because we're beginning to like him, otherwise we won't give a sh-t to this kind of teenage angst / drama ... (the royal "we" being loosely used here)

No one HAS TO come out to their family, there is NO rigid rule about that ... DO NOT feel compelled to do anything that you're not ready for ... Just plan things at your own pace, it is not "chickening out"

I was going to tear you a new one (Is this expression inappropriate as English is not my mother tongue?) for breaking my heart with the brutal and gruesome ending. However, after reading your afterword, I have to admire you for your bravery in your personal life. Please stay safe and stay strong, all my positive thoughts go out to you ... p.s. It will be helpful, to me, at least, if you post a warning for future work (at the story description part) if there'd be graphic violence involved. Just so I am not caught by surprise completely ... okay I'm overly sensitive and a wuss, but I'm actually traumatised now ... Cruel fate ... I always go on a rant when an author let something bad happen to one of the characters, because to me you are the god that created the world (story) that they live in. I usually lash out at the author for any hurt / heartache / abuse / etc that he / she has inflicted on the protagonist in the story ... That was brutal and cruel for a teenager to go through ! I DO NOT like it one bit ...
