Myr's post in My Followed Authors List was marked as the answer
@Timothy M., Try this work around for now:
Mange your followed content is under a link on the profile menu in the upper right of the page. "manage followed content"

Myr's post in Formatting was marked as the answer
It's subtle.
The editor is exactly the same in the Stories system as here. The editor takes what you put into it. When you are not remotely technically savvy, such as your example of a link to an 82 yo author, you get what you get.
The display portion of stories actively strips out excessive double spacing and a number of other common issues to try to correct for bad inputs from the members. In an ideal situation, an author can copy their text from their word processor, paste into the editor, and then click the button that clears formatting. This would give the cleanest input. Unfortunately, a lot of people overuse italics and bold and would then have to manually put it back in. This is why we don't automatically strip formatting on paste.
Some authors (not the one linked, to be clear) also ignore us when we tell them to use plain text with minimal formatting so that it shows up correctly in most browsers. When we remind them, they yell at us like we are somehow destroying their art. 10 years of that with self posting... and well... no... you want an author to fix something, reach out and help them fix it. We can't fix that problem from the system end. We've done as much as we can.

It looks like it is hitting a size cap, but not telling you. I've had that happened to me as well.

Myr's post in Mature vs Mature - Member Only was marked as the answer
It's mostly there so we can flag a story that's too much for Google to handle. Despite showing copious amounts of actual porn on their own website, they treat other sites with ridiculous scrutiny. Member Only is a quite handy way to block them from seeing content. A single mention of the female chest that starts with a "t" is enough for Google to melt their snowflakes.
So, a story that leans into a more Nifty end of mature should use Mature - Member Only. I'll typically flag it that way manually when I get a Google Snowflake Melt Warning.

Myr's post in Who's online not refreshing was marked as the answer
It seems to be working on this end. It might be a cache sort of thing at your end, but it should be.

Myr's post in Automatic story status change was marked as the answer
Correct. We do not automatically put the status back to "In Progress". The author can choose to do this, but if they are posting slow enough to trigger the change to begin with, it's probably false advertising to switch it back to "In Progress".
No. It's not worth it for the software time investment. If you are not posting fast enough not to get automatically tagged, then you're not likely to post a new chapter fast enough to avoid getting changed again. Comsie posts a chapter about once per year per story, maybe. For example.
"In progress" implies regular posting. Weekly, biweekly, monthly? Any more than that and you're not really posting regularly. And there are plenty of people that are militant about not reading a story until it's complete. They might start reading a story that is posting regularly.

Myr's post in Story Updates Widget Not Showing Update was marked as the answer
@jamessavik This was caused by your edit, most likely. I unpublished and republished your chapter and it fired the notification and put you in the feed on the Story Updates Widget.

Myr's post in Issue with story views was marked as the answer
There was a backup in the processing queue, apparently. Collecting views with timestamps and compiling them into useful chunks takes time. Apparently lots of people were reading over the holiday weekend and the queue backed up. The programmer has made some adjustments.
@Headstall, in theory, the current line up should be accurate now. There were apparently some bugs in properly tallying views.

Myr's post in Story Revie Widget was marked as the answer
OH! Yes, you can't review your own stories so it won't show you a link for that either. I forgot about that.

Myr's post in Bold Bug was marked as the answer
@Wayne Gray I think it might be a cache issue. You can try this by clearing your cache, doing a force refresh (ctrl-F5 in windows, typically), or trying it in a different browser.
As you saw by my Lorem Ipsum post, direct paste from Word 365 worked fine for me in windows 10 and Firefox.

Myr's post in Changes to Stories front page was marked as the answer
That's a bug, obviously. An upgrade occurred while I was at work and a setting got borked. It's been corrected. You should see the buttons now.

Myr's post in Images in story notes was marked as the answer
Just post the link to your gallery image in the Story Note. It works.
@Talo Segura
Paste the link directly into the text editor. Do not use the insert image from link button. (That only works if you have the direct image location)
