TC2 - Chapter 4: Rob’s First Thursday in Tampa
Brayon commented on Brayon's story chapter in TC2 - Chapter 4: Rob’s First Thursday in Tampa
Thanks for reading, Xander. From the scope of the story, there could be a massive mess up, and the Bolts won't make the playoffs, like Stamkos, Hedman, Kuch all getting injured at the same time. Of course, I'm not going to do that. LOL. I added the Waffle House to Boston, because I like them, and needed a good greasy spoon place that is familiar. I know in the Real World, the closest is Pennsylvania. That's on the list of lawsuits that Adam will be doing. Along with yet another police report. Hiring a P.I. maybe. In both High School and college, I took some Law Courses, family law, and criminal law, and was a member of the 13th Judicial Circuit's Teen Court program. We trialed actual Juvenile case, in a "Pre-Trial" intervention program. I was the State's Attorney for my HS. I won every case. LOL. Granted they had to plead guilty, and we only did sentencing, but I had a good record. LOL. Haven't been to the Law Library since those classes. Love Hamberger Mary's. Haven't decided where the Brewpub will be. I might take a real-world one, and say, "Yup, they built that, and it's new, not 5 years old." I can't spoil everything. Which team? ... I'm actually hoping that the Leafs beat Boston. I like our odds vrs Toronto over the Bruins. -

Thanks for reading, Potterslashfan. Yes, Adam shutting down the phone, was the right call. As one of my Beta Readers pointed out, "Adam needs to be squeaky clean. Can you imagine if the grandparents hired a P.I. to follow him?" Yes, we'll see the other teen soon. -

Thank you, Dahawk. Things will get better for Rob. He's had a very tough couple of months, he needed some positives. I'm glad you liked the chapter. -

Thanks, Glennish. Honesty is the best policy, especially in the first stages of the bonding. I mentioned it a couple of comments up, but Michelle's family, their beef is with Adam, and they are trying to hurt him through Rob. Sadly, in their minds, Rob doesn't exist anymore. For now, who knows what the future might hold. Yes, the thought of suicide was bit subtle, and I was hoping I wasn't pushing it. Rob will bring it up in therapy. It scared the hell out of him. With the timeframe, the story is in, just a month or so ago, the 4 regular season games of the B's and the Bolts, are gonna be a showdown. LOL. But, yes, the NHL 2018 Round 2 Playoffs are gonna test the relationship. LOL. -

Thank you for reading, and for the feedback, centexhairysub. Michelle's family their collective issue is two-fold. Adam, and Michelle's will. They are trying to hurt Adam, by using Rob. Michelle and Rob were middle-class, so there is some money involved. More so after the sale of the house, and other stuff, happens. For the child support... from my basic, really basic, understanding of Massachusetts Family law, the grandparents initiated the proceedings when they demanded a paternity test to confirm Adam was the father. Under the law, Michelle was not married when Rob was born and didn't list a father on the birth certificate, which is legal in MA. Once the father was determined by a paternity test, the birth certificate is amended, and the state seeks child support automatically. I'm not a lawyer, so that is what I got off of researching MA Law, and a couple of different paternity lawyers for MA. Chapter 5 is in the works now, so I hope you return to read it when it gets posted. -

Thanks for reading, JayT. True they did sign away their rights, but they are using an old felony case against Adam. So they are hoping that it might trigger something. -

Thanks for reading Wesley. Yeah, Michelle's family are definitely on the "not nice" side of the spectrum. -

Thanks for reading, Chris! Yes, the maternal grandparents are very "misguided." I'll use that term. I do believe the Law is on the side of the guys. At least in my reading of FL statutes and case law. -

Thank you, tim. I truly appreciate all the support and help you've given me. -
Adam was the first to wake up and was in the kitchen brewing up a pot of coffee when Robert walked out. The weather forecast was for a sunny Thursday, March 8, 2018. “Good morning, sleepyhead. What do you say about us going out for breakfast?” Adam poured himself and Robert each a cup. He passed Robert his and leaned against the counter. “Sounds good, Dad,” Robert added cream and sugar to his coffee and sat down at the island bar. “Do we have anything planned for today?” “I have my m

I'm currently reading Jim Butcher's Dresden Files. So far the first six books are fantastic.

They were all fantastic tim! They all spoke to me, but the first two I wanted to comment on. 4/15: It does remind me of a chant. I like how you used it to explain what the style was. I'm almost tempted to try my non-poetic-self's hand at doing one. 4/16: That is a friend, that we have in common. I love how you show the faith you have in Mike in it as well.

TC2 - Chapter 1: Meeting Each Other

Thank you, Bft for reading and for the feedback. Currently working on chapter 4 of the story, and it's almost completed and ready for editing. As for biscuits and gravy, there is nothing better than a good old fashion Southern Breakfast. Now, to get the full breakfast one must have, Biscuits and Gravy, Fried Chicken, Two Eggs, and Hashbrowns. -
A lover's passion is what I get from this poem. Fantastic tim.

You, and me both. I love the fact that the NHL "loaned" the cup to the Pirates. -

Thank you for reading, Potterslashfan. I'm glad you liked the chapter. It was written from the heart, and I hope that you and your brother can find reconciliation. Tibot is the reason why Adam has a zero-tolerance policy for hard drugs. -

Too bad, Rob was here in January. He could have seen Gasparilla Pirate Fest and NHL All-Stars 2018 in the same weekend. -
Another excellent week of poems, my friend. I had to come back because a couple of these really hit home. April 8th went right to the feels. But that ode to Pizza... I'm wanting a slice of triple meat now. April 14th... You've summed up what I've felt several times in my life.

Lord Andrew Tillerson, a noble in the occupied Barony of Branister, walked down the long sub-basement hallway. Dressed in his officer's uniform, he walked with the authority that both his rank and bloodline accorded him. He was a regal man and stood tall with raven black hair and hazel eyes. The sub-basement was cut directly from the bedrock at the base of a mountain and supplied steam, heat, and natural gas for the lighting to the military base built on top as an outpost. The flickering lights

Thank you for reading, deville. There's hope the rift can be mended, but it would take a long, long, time. And family counseling. -

He is outdoorsy, so it's possible he is. Also, the UT Spartans practice their rowing in the River, and Bay right there.
