  1. Thanks for reading, and for the feedback, FanLit. Chapter 7 is about halfway done now and getting ready for self-edits before heading off to the editing team.
  2. Thanks for reading, and for the feedback, Sweetlion. Chapter 7 will address a lot of this. Luckily for Rob, he won't fall too deep into a depression, because he's at Adam's parents' house.
  3. Thank you, Everett, for both reading the story and for the comment. I debated myself about adding in the second line but did so as I felt it would be an interesting look into the dual-nature of Tibs. It's a very Southern thing as well.
  4. Thanks for reading, mfa607! They get what is coming to them, in Chapter 7.
  5. Thanks, for reading, Wesley, and for the feedback. Adam wants Tibs back in his life, and this will put him back on the path.

    A New Life

    You're welcome! ☺️
  7. I'm gonna have to change my rank title then. LOL.
  8. LOL. Then you need some Minions.

    A New Life

Thanks for reading JeffreyL. I had originally planned to do a couple of chapters but ended up just doing one. However, with My Son, I had the opportunity to bring the characters back. In the Next book in the Tampa Chronicles, Book 3, Brayon, Chando, and Jill will be with Adam, Duncan, Rob, and Giles.
  10. You need a sidekick... I agree. People are various shades of grey.
  11. Thanks for reading JayT. Spot on with your insight. Tib's help is going to teach the Turners a lesson.
  12. Thanks for reading, travlbug. In the court, Tib's help isn't really necessary. Sending a message to back off, yeah it's needed. Michelle's parents are bullies. Best way to beat a bully is to fight back, and Tibs has the resources to neutralize them.
  13. Thanks for reading, Chris191070! Chapter 7 will address what you brought up. I'm about a 1/4 of the way done with it.
  14. Tampa’s road system is built around a network of major roads that includes three interstate routes, two toll roads, and several county, state, and federal highways. It wasn’t always like that. Like lots of smaller cities when the first interstates came in, Tampa blossomed to a large thriving metro area dependent upon them. Where two of the interstate routes meet, I-275 and I-4, the Tampa locals affectionately call it ‘malfunction junction’. Duncan and his brother Ian sat in traffic, stuck b

    In Silence

I read your D/s poems, and I get little glimpses of your's and Mike's life. I see the love you have for him, and him for you in your words. You, my friend, are a stronger individual than I am. Another excellent poem. Well written, and you can see the dynamic between a D/s, when sitting at a Dom's feet, and the meditative quality of it.

    Darker Themes

GA requires that warnings are used in certain specific themes. Such as Sexual Assault and Incest. Aside from what is required by the site, I think throwing a warning on the chapter, is a waste of time, and spoiling the story. I do agree with tim that the Story's description on the main page, should be used to convey such feeling and tone of a book, in a creative way. Also, there is the new Death tag... It was added earlier this year and has seven-stories with that tag.

    Going Home

Excellent. I love the interaction between Finn and Christian. I can see a slow bond start there. Fantastic chapter tim.

    Darker Themes

I've written two stories that have "darkish" themes in them. In one I kill off characters for being gay. Got more positive feedback, than negative on that one. In the second story, I recently posted chapter 5, where the son gets taken away from the father because the grandparents are abusing the legal system. Over half the reactions on that story has been the Angry Bomb... I'm hoping it's just the feelings of the reader at the situation, and not directed at me. LOL.

    A New Life

Thanks Flesco. I'm glad you enjoyed the story, and they will be making a reappearance soon.
  20. I posted yesterday, in the Forums on the discussion thread, that Chapter 7 will be the ending to Book 1. Book 2 will pick up after the events of Book 1. However, I didn't want to be tied to current events, like Book 1 is, like the Lightning games for example. SO, Book 2 will be tied into reality, with Tampa being Tampa, but I won't adhere to 100% factual things, like its rumored that the TB Rays might be sold off to another owner, and moved out of state, instead of moving to Tampa. I would keep them in Tampa. Also, there's some character's I'll be introducing from another of my stories, that need some love. Check out A New Life and a New Home.
  21. Thank you for reading, and for the feedback, Flesco. Chapter 6, and chapter 7 will address some of the stuff that you've brought up. C6 is with the editing team now, and c7 I've started on today, and already about 500 words into it. We're coming to a conclusion for this story soon.
  22. An excellent tale, that sheds a light on a human need to belong in a world of hope. About regaining one's humanity. It's an interesting journey, that you should read.

  23. This is an excellent story, well written, and thought out. To me, it's a story in stages. Stage 1, the world is destroyed and doing what you must in order to survive. Stage 2, the finding of hope in someone that changes your life, represented by the horse, and it's death. Stage 3, being rescued and meeting someone that will show you to a better future. Absolutely brilliant. You hit this one out of the park, my friend.
