  1. Thank you for reading, and for the comment, Daveh. Even though I am working on several stories, I love this family and think of them often. I even have little practice stories with them, which I'm trying to incorporate into the next book.
  2. Thanks for reading, Travlbug! Jeremy did get his world rocked, and that is one of the issues he is facing. He's used to being on the outside and self-sufficient for the most part with the discipline he gained from studying martial arts. Now he's an emotional wreck. Chapter 2 will be mostly about him coping and healing. I'll admit, I just finished reviewing the first scene of C2, and looking back across the three books... I really need to throw some positive mojo their way. Even Adam makes a comment about burning sage.
  3. Thanks, Chris! This one's going to be short, but it does bridge the gap between My Son and the currently untitled fourth installment.
  4. Thanks for reading, Chris! Jeremy is lucky that he has a family that is willing to take him in. This first chapter had a couple extra paragraphs, but Kitt knocked some sense into me and I'll be doing at least one more chapter. The next chapter is titled: Heartbreak.
  5. Jeremy Isen, nephew of Duncan Isen, and son of Duncan's older brother Ian Isen is coming into his own. At fifteen years old, and a Freshman at H. B. Plant High School, Jeremy shows a passion for photography, martial arts, and journalism. As a member of the school's Yearbook Staff, and the chief photo-journalist for both the Yearbook and Newspaper, he's well-known among the high school teens, even outside his grade-level. Events during the school year and the beginning of summer vacation conspire to change his life. Will it be for the better, or for the worse?
  6. To be yourself, and live and let live. That's what I think being a member of the GLBT community means. I was born a gay male, no one can take that away from me.
  7. I'm a human first and foremost. But, I am a gay man and I identify myself as part of the GLBT community at large. I do advocate for gay rights, writing to my politicians, and doing some groundwork with the Libertarian Party when my disabilities aren't getting in the way. I used to do the same with the Republican Party as well before I switched parties. I have some local gay friends I hang out with, and even though Hillsborough is a "blue" county, there isn't much in the gay-owned locations outside of bars and nightclubs. Most cater to all clientele, with all types going in, from my experience over the years here. (I welcome anyone from Tampa, FL to point me in the direction of gay-owned establishments, as I will patronize them.) I used to go to the clubs, like Metropolis, City Side, and Baxters. I love my Gaybor District. However, I am a Human first. I have my own thoughts, opinions, and beliefs that I act upon. They often line up with the GLBT community. A lot of times it does not, especially those in the political field, which I will not go further in, than what I have already.

  9. “Hey Jeremy, toss the ball over here!” Edwin waved his hands and then held his mitt up. The baseball sailed perfectly in an arc to him. “Thanks!” “Anytime Edwin!” Jeremy smiled and walked on. It was Wednesday, April 24, 2018, and school had let out about two hours ago. Jeremy Isen was out at the baseball diamond with his Nikon D5 camera, taking pictures for the school’s yearbook. The camera was overkill for what he used it for, but his Uncle Duncan spoiled him with a camera that was as e

    War In Heaven

The three books of the Rumors of War Trilogy is a fantastic rendering of religion turned sci-fantasy. A perfect ending to the series. As for the book itself, it ended on a strong note, was well written, good scenes that played out beautifully in the imagination. Good work all around.

    Tommy's Poems

Excellent tim! Your second poem on love nearly knocked me out of my chair. Those last three lines are powerfully true.

    War of Hell

A fantastic middle book of a trilogy of stories. Well written, and interesting concepts that are carried over from the first book.

    Chapter 6

You did well with the combat scene. It played out nicely in my head.

    Chapter 4

Good story, and an interesting chapter.

    Chapter 3

Kinda preachy, but ok. Still a good story. Not all Christians are Homophobic, and painting a whole religion with a broad stroke does it a disservice.

    Chapter 2

I just hope Damien gets his body back to fighting shape soon. Even the Devil should know to make medicine available to him.
  17. It's like the story behind the word "Quiz." Someone made it up wrote it on a wall, and eventually, people all over started using it.
  18. I head hop in third person all the time within chapters but in different scenes. I'm writing a First-Person PoV now, which I will be swapping heads for chapters, not scenes. First 2 chapters are off to the editor, the third is being written. I like head-hopping as I feel it completes the story, regardless of PoV. Also, yes... it's a sad world we live in where there have to be disclaimers on stuff like, "Don't Kill People," "Don't Eat TIDE Pods."

    Chapter 1

Just remember that the Devil was a woman in the Bedazzled remake with Elizabeth Hurley and Brenden Fraser. So all good. 🙂 Great first chapter of the second story. I like the Dad, and Alan. Lucifel seems like an interesting character.
