Granted... but it turns REALLY COLD, and the rain becomes Snow. I wish my Ex-BF would stop pestering me.

Splitting a Jackpot of $10.00 with 15 others... Both are granted. The Streaming Service speeds up, but is now stuck on straight food fetish porn. Then suddenly, Valkyrie is there on Vacation for the next week. I wish I was elected POTUS.

Granted. But he dies suddenly on your wedding night. I wish I won the lottery.

Yes, along with a bunch of others. There's an international one, I think I might watch later after I finish bingeing on House of Cards.

Thank you. Next installment is almost done. Just need to polish it some, and get a Beta/editor to give it a once over.

Keep them coming, please. I'm keeping a list. Saw Closet Monster last night. I would recommend it.

@droughtquake I checked for Festival in my area, and Tampa has one, in October. Seems I got my Fall plans started. @BlindAmbition and @droughtquake I will add that movie to the list. I just found Akron and got that set to watch soon. Also, I found that Short Film thread. I'll check those out as well. All very true. Also, one part of the Gay Community I dislike. All the emphasis on Gym Pack Rats, and shaming anyone that doesn't spend 5 hours a day in one.

I am open to any suggestions, or recommendations you might have. I'm not one of those GLBT snobs, that has to have Gay this, and Gay that, but sometimes, you want to see two guys in a good storyline romance, comedy, action, etc.

May the 4th, be with you! Always.

I'll look that one up @BlindAmbition.

To date, I've watched several Gay theme movies, and have been sorely disappointed. The "Eating Out series" is an example of Bad Gay films. "Shelter" was good, like the exception to the rule. This is just my opinion, but it just seems most of the English language Films, are just bad. From the quality of Acting, Storytelling, to Production itself, they all seem less than C-list movies. The foreign films being much better quality. Does, anyone have a suggestion on a Good Gay Theme movie?

Thanks! I'm working on an installment in the main story, that I hope will be finished soon.

Act 2 – Prelude to War Part 1
Brayon commented on Brayon's story chapter in Act 2 – Prelude to War Part 1
Thank you for reading it. I really appreciate the feedback, and please feel free to PM, Comment, or even post in the Forum thread any questions, comments, anything! I'll be happy to answer what I can. -
Book 0, with snippets of Aeris' life before the current mission. Hope you enjoy it.

January 10, 2200: The elevator ride took a bit longer than usual. It seemed that several of the building’s inhabitants had decided to come home at the same time. Aeris stood pressed up against the back right corner, watching the other riders as they got on, and off at their various stops. It was a rare occasion for him. Decked out in his dress uniform, a black suit-style complete with a white shirt and black tie, he waited patiently for his floor. A small boy, about seven years old, stared openl

Thank you, everyone. Answered my question perfectly. @Valkyrie Thanks for pointing out that Blog post.

I've been trying to find some information on this, but my Google-fu is seriously lacking. When writing a story, when is the use of numbers more favorable, than to spell them out? Example: "I've lived here twenty years." vs. "I've lived here 20 years." I've seen it and used it myself, both ways. Sometimes within the same document. Any help would be appreciated.

Cons: Short. Pros: Very well written. Enough characterization that makes you want to know more. A good intro. I rated it five stars because it's a very well written story. Not much character depth, as it's a one shot short, but it leaves the reader wanting to know more of the world it is set in. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

As the saying goes, "I'm American by Birth, and Southern by the Grace of God." Cia is correct, "Y'all" is used for both in the singular, and plural around these here parts. Only those Yankeefied individuals and Carpetbaggers would disagree. Bless their hearts. Every Soda is Coke, the only Tea is Sweet Tea, and if you don't have a Cake on the table, you're the low class one.

@William King it's actually you, and @Cia whom I was talking about. You both gave me excellent advice via PMs, and I'm doing my best to incorporate it.

A little update. Since posting this almost 2 months ago, and finally getting feedback from my Cousin and some of his Military Buds, I've pretty much scrapped this entire section. The feedback from them was, "Not really how it works in Real World, but in a Sci-Fi setting, it may work." They pointed out some huge plot holes with the chapter as well, which after I found after re-reading the full document, I saw. Seems that with all the Feedback I was given beforehand, I cut out stuff, and changed characters significantly. So... yet another rewrite. *insert crying emoji* I've not given up on this project, and have taken advice given to me from two great authors on this site, to really get this next section done like it should be.

I've always wondered the same thing. Why so many Straight Females wrote Gay Characters? The answers here are a sobering look at it. Though my only complaint as a Gay Male, with any Author writing Gay Characters, is sometimes depictions of sexual technique and outcomes are more Fanciful, and less how it really works. Such as feeling the heat coming off of seaman inside of a person. That just is not biologically possible, unless the partner is running a fever over 20 degrees higher than your body temperature. I'm not saying I read a lot of Smut, but some Authors need a biology and sex education refresher. It's also worth noting that the largest Demographic of Consumers of Gay Romance Novels, is Straight Females. Which I was utterly shocked to learn.
