Sorry to hear that, Bro. Get home and get warm!

Sleep Well, my Brother.

When Hurricane Michael hit the panhandle of Florida and trashed everything, there was one beach side house that withstood the winds and rain. Turned out the owners took the local codes, and doubled the required stuff. ex. the stilts were only supposed to be wood, and 15ft deep, they went with concrete and 20ft deep. Better roofing, etc. That's what I would do on any storm shelter, or house, I built. Make it strong enough to withstand a direct nuclear missile attack.

Stay safe!

Also, in Florida if you have a Masters or PhD in Accounting, you're exempt from the CPA test for the licensing.

Exactly. My Freshman year is almost over, but I'm already thinking about getting my Masters of Science in Accounting (would love to get a PhD.). The University of Tampa has a good Masters program, and I've already talked to them. They will take my B.S. of Accounting as an acceptable degree for admittance. That's what matters for me. 🙂

I heard the other day, someone saying that these "Online Schools" are not real schools. I will say now, none of my classes have been fluff courses. Yeah, there's been a couple I questioned why we had to take them, and it turns out it's required by Arizona, but not one has been automatic A's. Essay questions for tests, lots of reading assignments, group projects, some videos (32 in one week!), and the research papers are just as tough as what I had in College 1.0. Everything about college, without being on a campus, and dealing with campus life.

Thanks. 🙂

Thanks, Wayne! I am completely stoked going into this class. Give me a few days, and I'll find something to complain about. LOL

Hello everyone. New class started today! First science course, SCI/220 Human Nutrition. It's a true science course, not a "this is how you're suppose to eat to loose weight." It's more "This is what happens when you eat carbs, how it's broken down, how it affects you body, what it becomes, and the short/long term results." We also transitioned to a new online classroom, using the Blackboard Ultra program. A lot more user friendly.

This was a fantastic poem, my brother. I could see the picture you painted with this. Excellent job.

Not sure why, but I've had this song playing on loop for the past hour. Then I figured it out where I heard it from. They did this as a cover for that retelling of The Passion. Where Judas and Jesus do a duet.

@MacGreg Congrats on the win!

Sleep Well, tim.

That's so simple, I can't mess it up.

Sharing is caring! May I have that Recipe please? Same, I used to burn Water. But, I'm slowly getting things. Like Mac said, tim uses food too in his stories. It was one of my Beta Reading notes on Changes, Again that I loved how he uses food in his stories.

Cooking. I can do simple stuff, or anything that's two or three steps. But if it anywhere near moderately or highly complex, fuhgeddaboudit.

Hope all is well with everyone. Schoolwork for the last week is done. New class starts Tuesday. Going to do some writing, hopefully.

Thanks everyone.

Thanks everyone. Was told, shortly before I made the post, that a family member committed suicide. If you will excuse me, I'll be over here sipping a Mountain Dew and Fireball Whiskey cocktail, or two, or ten, and then chilling the f*ck out.

Just saying hi. I hope everyone is doing well. I'm fine, my heart isn't. I don't want to talk about it.

Thanks, miss molly. Everything's good Mac. I just need to focus on myself for a bit. I spend way too much time on social media crap, as a "mental break" and it's eating into time I've budgeted for other things. Thanks, Reader.

I'm taking a week off from GA. You'll see me pop on and off to answer PMs and stuff, but I won't be actively posting stuff. C-ya next week.

Excellent Chapter, Wayne. The opening scene was well done. With as much trouble as Jed is having with his wolf, I think he'll need some more silver, or Wolfgang binds him in silver chains.
