One of the great things about this forum is that I learn something new almost every time I visit the DiC. I'm sorry you're depleted molly. Take it easy and thank you for teaching me about spoons. I like that saying!
-
I'm glad that you're feeling better, Rick. Hope you have a great weekend and continue to feel better and better.
-
Yep, @kbois went there with the DP. She's totally fearless when it comes to writing. LOL. But in all seriousness, it is a great chapter, and it's obvious that a lot of thought went into crafting this chapter and the entire story.

TC may have shown physical restraint about dealing with Sin's father, but I'm betting that by the time TC gets through with him, he's going to wish TC had beat his ass. Dr. Ng is amazing and the way that David and TC handled the therapy session and afterwards was spot on. I was worried about Sin, but after this, those worries are gone. This was a great chapter. BTW, we are going to get a visit from Dr. Charlotte in the last chapter, right @kbois?? LOL

That run on "C" cell sized batteries, because NOBODY keeps those in their kitchen drawer, so someone will have to go to the store. LOL

So well said @kbois. I think that people often confuse acquaintances for friends. I've always felt that if I could count my friends on one hand, I was doing good. So then you would be known as Uncle Scary? No , just no @Wayne Gray. LOL You must supplement the sugar with generous amounts of caffeinated soft drinks for the full effect and to maximize irritation to your sibling(s).

I think that TC would be the perfect one to open up that can of whoop ass. How about it @kbois???

Chapter 15 - Changing Tides
spyke commented on Mrsgnomie's story chapter in Chapter 15 - Changing Tides
I'm sorry to hear that you and your family have been displaced because of the wild fires @Mrsgnomie. Sending good thoughts your way. This has just been a sh***y year for everyone. No one is going to mourn 2020's passing. Take care of yourself and your family and stay safe. -
Good morning to all! I hope that everyone has a great day today. You all need to stop talking about food. You're making me hongreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! I guess if you can do pizza for breakfast, there's nothing wrong with spaghetti for breakfast. LOL
-
I think I am going to appropriate this eloquent saying. I just love it.
-
Take care of yourself and your husband, Chris. I've got my fingers crossed that the test comes back negative.
-
Many of us were having the exact thought about you. Please stay strong and take care of yourself. Me personally--I'm O.K.

Well @Buz, sometimes too much hookah could possibly lead to a hooker. Just sayin'. LOL

If somehow, accidentally, not on purpose, the power cord gets snatched out of the wall, it takes a good 10 minutes to come back up on line. Same principle applies to a router. 🤣 Oh, the problems with technology these days! 😉

So far...........🤞, but things can turn on a dime and then all Hades breaks loose! Hope yours is and remains peaceful @Starrynight22

Have family in the area. It's too cold in the winter time up there for me, and I hate shoveling snow! Clean, crisp air aside, I'll keep the rare 1 inch snowfall that closes everything down here in the south. LOL
-
I like how this story is beginning. It's obvious that you've done your research about the area. Not many folks know about Greentree or Pittsburgh National Bank (now PNC). I think that Clarion is a great setting and offers many possibilities given the collegiate influence on the town.

@MichaelS36 Hope you have a terrific birthday!

I totally understand. I've been to many horse shows in the past. I can see where things run long and many times things are beyond our control. What is in our control is the ability to let someone know what's going on. It only takes a few seconds to send a text. Certainly less time that it takes to order a pizza. Perhaps I view things in a bit differently than most, but I feel that it's a matter of mutual respect.
-
That's most aggravating and so inconsiderate. I try and have an "expectations" conversation with clients/customers right up front. My time is just as valuable as the next person. I'm sorry that happened to you.
-
You do such a terrific job with your characters that they evoke some strong emotions in your readers. I'm sure that I am not the only one who wanted to slap the smug right off of Chris' face. LOL. Good for Jared for not falling for his explanation. Like @Kapucinski said, it's just an excuse for one party to screw around. I believe Edward maybe has called out CHECK in his chess game with Adrian. But I have no doubt that Adrian will recover and rally. It isn't CHECKMATE quite yet for these two. Poor Mike......😢 Can't wait for the next chapter! Thanks @Laura S. Fox!!

Well that cat is out of the bag now. Nothing like the paparazzi to bring things to the forefront. I guess Grey will have some fallout and decisions to make. Can't wait for the next chapter!
-
Good morning everybody and happy FriYAY! I hope everyone has a great day.
-
3 people? Well that tells a big part of the story then. I hope that you're able to take a bit of a break and relax after you finish your notice.

Must be going around today. My phone has absolutely blown up with calls and texts. Can't get ahead to save my life. Good afternoon everyone. Hope you all are having an easier time of it than Wayne or I.
