Do what you have to do. I prefer the word persuasion. That other word has such a negative connotation to it. 😊
-
Lesson learned. I got my presents 3 weeks after Christmas that year.
-
She’s not a pet! LOL! My preciioous!!!
-
I did that until the year there was no presents. Never did it again.

I feel for Pat. Years of knowing his brother were stolen. While he has a loving family, his short life has been shrouded in chaos. That would leave anyone unsure and feeling out of control.

Oh Ember and I are so much alike. He’s his own worst enemy. The more he tries to run... the worse it gets. Stop being an arse. Let into the feelings you fool. Sexy and stubborn sums it up. Overthinking is a dreadful trait to be cursed with.

You’ll Never Want to Leave

Great chapter tim. Sanctuary sounds so tranquil. I believe Sanctuary will come to hold multiple meanings. Looking forward to the magic it holds. -
June is LGBT Pride Month- How will you celebrate?

A lot of people go elsewhere. Vegas normally isn’t that bad in June. July and August is when it’s 118. -
June is LGBT Pride Month- How will you celebrate?

Rawhide has been there forever. I’ve seen things in NO that made me blush. Seeing the things I’ve seen in the east side of NYC... that’s saying a lot. The police there don’t seem to do much. -
So relatable. Cold turkey is not the answer, but you realize you need more. You seem to grasp it... balance is the answer. Phases in your life will continually change. It’s all important. Being a responsible adult doesn’t mean stop having fun. Working too hard can be as dangerous as partying too hard... Enjoy your life today, tomorrow is not a guarantee.

Southern Decadence on par with NYC. Small area, but loads of fun. The drink of choice... Hurricane... Buy 1 and get 3. Knock you off your ass!! ☺️ -

Growing up in Jersey, then working and living in NYC... I miss Pride. There’s no explaining NYC Pride... it has to be experienced to understood. Uplifting, unifying, hostorical importance. Love and community!! Vegas is a sad substitute. Here it’s just a reason to party. These lame ass people celebrate in October... not taking on the spirit of June Pride!! -
Riley has to stop taking on the weight of the world. He didn’t put father in prison, or stab him 50 times. His caring shows his humanity. Eli is exactly what he needs. Sometimes the ones you love are too close to the situation. The fact that Riley wanted rehab just shows his commitment in getting better. I think it would just be running. He has the love and tools at home. Riley will always find solace in Carter and parents. The situation with David can’t be understood by them. A world they don’t know, but Eli does. Nancy was right... there will be setbacks. They didn’t give Riley time to shutdown. Only enough time to reflect. That was the way to frustrate him enough to blow... it worked too! Riley even let the smoking slip. Great job Ace!!

Very good observations Sir. There can be anticipation and excitement in locks opening and closing.

The blog is a good idea. Just add the link to it in the CJ thread.

I really love the mystique of this story. The thin layers being pulled back. Allowing you to savor each moment. Finn and his mother have an interesting relationship. There’s no doubt love, but definitely some distance. I’m wondering if that is just wealth and pretension in the air... Nora does have to curtsy. Nora seemed shocked by Finn staying. She audibly gasped. Does that action have meaning? Does Finn’s fathers suicide relate to Sam and his world. Its sad to see Sam put distance between him and Finn. Are there rules he must follow? Really well done tim. These are characters I already care about. xoxo

This question intrigued me, so I went to edit old topic I created. Once a topic is created the poll option is no longer there.

What are your inspirations when writing?
FormerMember4 replied to Aceinthehole's topic in The Lounge
It depends on the writing. If it’s work, school, poem and most other things, I like silence. I do better first thing in morning. Before the crazy starts. If it’s my journal, music is playing. Music has always been a good way to pull my feelings. -
Really good chapter Graeme. I think Mason’s parents were unfair. I understand protecting him, but be honest with him. Mason now has the impression he isn’t loved. I hope the driver is legit and not someone looking to kidnap Mason. Good to see Dave. It will be good to get trial out of the way. Hopefully without being outed. Not sure on Australian press protection for sexual abuse victims. Neil is showing he’s still insecure. A big move can be traumatic. I hope Liam and Clarissa are able to ground and help him acclimate. He’s still fragile at times.

Can you say belt licks with that accent again? LOL!

Dustin is not daddy material. We already know he’s selfish and immature. I’m getting a weird vibe about Duncan’s father. Did he have involvement in Mike’s fathers death??

This story and writing have spun me in your web. You’ve captured teen angst and confusion extremely well. Jacob is just trying to find his way.
-
That’s where I went after reading chapter.
-
If only... There’s a few who would help him jump that fence.

I like his stuff. I just finished The Wind in His Heart.
