  1. Yes, that’s how it should be. Honoring the culture and ways of the locale. That’s conscientiousness on the part of a good writer.
  2. You brought up something important to me. Authors need to be true to themselves as authors. This includes their culture. Using flat, instead of apartment... or jumper, bangers and mash, etc. I appreciate this. Teaches about people and cultures. Difference makes us great. So never apologize, or apologise for your English form.
  3. Umm, that would be a very interesting collaboration. They do better separate. 😂
  4. Also, if using sex... there’s way more than two positions. Don’t recycle same scene over and over.
  5. Yes Sir. We are of the same mind on this.
  6. They’ll take one or two popular characters from one of their stories and drop into a scenario with popular characters of another of their stories.
  7. That’s fine! I’m talking a single author.
  8. There’s also a trend I’ve been seeing. Absolutely drives me crazy. Having characters from one story of the author, visit another story of the author. One scene, or chapter is fine. Don’t keep doing it. It shows an author is out of ideas. Maybe author needs to step back and reevaluate the course of the story.
  9. I forgot this. If you are an author with multiple stories, don't use the same A and B characters with new names and locales. It's obvious and lacks originality and imagination.
  10. I am also one to read description. I want detail, but not War and Peace. More and more I skip teen stories. Unless there’s a new take on it. My age, and the fact genre done to death. Grammar and editing huge. There’s a popular author with multiple stories who refuses an editor. Good ideas, horrendous sentence structure. Gave up and won’t read another by this author.

    The Apple

Love taking a bite of flesh, of the apple of course. Can be served up hot, cold.. sweet, tart, and yes wet.
  12. Great start Papi Carlos. Very much looking forward to this important chapter in CJ’s life.

    Sentinel

Beautiful tim. A complete Fall picture in a reflective and curious moment. You are not merely an observer... You participate and engage my dear friend. xoxo
  15. I will never forget you. This was a rough year for you, and many of us. I love you brother. Haven't wanted to push. We process in different ways. There's many of us who want to embrace you. Anxiety can do some nasty sh*t. xoxo

    Lesson #3

Yes Sir, The beginning lessons with Sir teaching basics. With intensity, a little leniency, and no doubt what’s expected. A boy who craves the love and approval. Eager and desperate to learn and please. This is a special story for anyone. Those of us who live it... a powerful and emotional gift.
  17. Beautiful Solus. Shows the struggle and hope. In love which should not be seen different to any other. Really like the uniqueness in the way you present these pieces. Gives them something special to only you.
  18. Very well done Parker. I love this form. I relate so well to 1. I'm a Jersey boy who has been on the west coast for 13 years. The pace and attitude couldn't be anymore different. My east coast roots will always be my pace. Pulled me right in with that one.
  19. Well done. Always liked this format. Even the random PM from Dark. Look forward to more.
  20. I agree with his assessment. I don't think feasible on this site. Due to engagement and reader base. Yes, a review should be a synopsis of book with strengths and weaknesses. Where the comment should be I love the book, author, etc.
  21. Congrats to @Mikiesboy, @aditus, and @Dodger. Well done to all authors who entered. Great job @Renee Stevens and @Reader1810
  22. William, I do understand where you are coming from. An author should appreciate any review. As you know, I'm blind. I have no issues doing a review the way you want. However; a person with motor skill issues, or learning disability might find a struggle with two sentences.
  23. Sorry, but kudos and great achievement. You’re still a master sex scene writer. My computer screen reader screams her agreement.
  24. Love this story and characters. While a Halloween tale. A clever social commentary on issues we find ourselves facing.

    Chickens

This made me laugh. Well written and thought out. There have been stories for years, KFC breeds headless and Beak-less chickens which have been genetically altered.
