Even tho it was hard, rough, straight out fucking, the passion between them transcends the physical so much, it felt like they were making love, too. They are good together in every possible way. “No one has ever made me feel like this,” he managed, letting his body be pillaged. “Of course not,” Jake answered and grabbed him by the nape to bring him closer. “No one has ever loved you the way I love you." One more chapter, huh? I'm sad about that but very curious to see what path you're going to set our boys on. Well done, Laura.

Veeeeerrrrryyyyy Interesting. Not being a follower of the comic, I'm unaware of their history but there's definite chemistry between these lines. He Tian (the cat) seems to like Mo Guan Shan (the mouse) and wants to force him to admit the same.

Deville said it best: that was a hard read. My stomach dropped from the time Jimmy didn't show up to work and stayed there until Drake went to his place. Wow. ⛅️ The healthiest thing to do can sometimes be the hardest and I admire Jimmy for having the fortitude to take care of himself. I'm also glad Drake told Jimmy he loved him; Sometimes the simplest declaration is best. It may be too little too late but everyone's cards are on the table 😊 This was tough, Gary. I loved the confrontation between Diaz and Klaus. Seeing that their encounter permanently left Diaz disabled has to satisfy Klaus' inner warrior. Diaz is holding on to the misguided belief that Klaus "turned" his brother, he deserved Klaus' taunts: “He was like a low hanging fruit. Ripe for the taking,” he continued, feeling a surge of bloodlust rising. (That one kind of backfired on ol' Klausy; Ah, memories. ☺️) “He is an exquisite lover. I must say that I have met few who can compete with him on this level. He really does bend over nicely.” What exactly does Diaz think he's going to do if he gets Jake back?!?! He still doesn't get that he's totally lost any control he had over Jake. Klaus didn't expect or want Jake to leave but I feel he's earned respect for him he didn't previously have-Klaus can never say Jake wanted to be with him just for his money and his stubbornness rivals his own. I was annoyed when the chapter ended, 😄.!! I eagerly anticipate their next meeting. Good work, Laura.

This story was recommended to me in a conversation where I said I like my romance stories between earthbound people, ☺️. I gave it a try because I'm already a fan of other work by Headstall. The story, tho about shifters, could have easily been about any other flesh and blood character dealing with the challenges of love, loneliness and belonging. I became caught up in the story, the travails of the shifters and their packs was just another wonderful flavor to the story. This tale of those not quite human moved me deeply and made me hopeful about humanity, actually. It was a touching reminder that love is timeless and that no man is an island. I'm still not sold on the "alt/fantasy genre" but I love this story.

WOW!!!! A small world got smaller, 'cause you know Novy and AJ are gonna get together, right?!?! I love how the big reveal didn't drag out; That's gonna be an interesting month.

You have such a talent for weaving stories. (I'm a fan of William's Love, Ian's Heart & Seb and Beau) I get that Brady was an ass (well "arse") in high school and very likely earns what he's getting from November but I feel sorry for him. He hated himself and was crushing on Ember 20 years ago and he's on repeat now. At least he's out. Very good and interesting set up.

I’m angry at me, not you. I promise, okay?” Sweet Jimmy Dean remembers exactly what he saw in Drake but he got caught in a trap of his own making; I think we've all been there before. I do believe he's mad at Drake too, 'cause I think the weekend finally made him give up the fight and he knows how good they'd be together as a couple. Drake is important enough to J.D. to say they're still friends but I don't know how realistic that is for him. Drake is going to need to buy more than a tie to go with a couple of J.D's suits to atone for everything.

To go with the Drake Ramore reference-that was Joey Tribbiani's character on the soap opera "Days of Our Lives". There is a character on the show named 'John Black' who is/was portrayed by Drake Hogestyn. He might be who inspired the name.

Preston is the other brother, Richard is Drake's ex. Preston is an older fashioned name, tho; It lends to your original question.

No hate for you, Laura. I actually like how the chapter went. I'm not happy Jake and Klaus are still apart but I was surprised at how deeply Klaus was affected by the split. He really loves Jake and I really love that. ❤️ I was surprised that Jake came out to Diaz and it was awesome that Jake hit Diaz back. Jake is a man now, willing to defend himself and stand on his own (although I know you're going to get Jake and Klaus back together, right? 😳) Congratulations on Hans' engagement. It was a good chapter.

The story is a tourist attraction, has me interested in a visit.

Fu<*ing Tibot. All the other obstacles and allegations could be worked around but if that molestation charge falls in front of the wrong judge, especially made against a gay man, there could be problems. I admire Adam wanting to forgive his brother but there are some people who need to be kept at a distance. If Rob were my child, Adam and Tibot would never meet. I hope Rob can keep the faith (his talk about ending it all if he has to go back to foster care made me nervous) and I would love the grandparents to get back what they give. Good, engaging story by the way, 😊

When it comes to problems, Family comes first" My favorite line of the chapter. 😊 I hope Dennis and his Dad get a fresh start in California, both in their parent/child relationship and as something other than "those no good Crowders" Being that Jones was a puppet to begin with, I'm inclined to think someone from his camp put him down to shut him up. I don't think the danger to Daniel's career or life is over yet. Thank goodness for the fortress known as Adams' security, tho it only takes one small opening to a very determined foe. Oh, and I'm one of the "wows" at the end of the chapter. 😉

Yeah Drake, Jimmy is getting fed up and now you're gonna have to work-put on your big boy pants and your big boy shoes and work to get Jimmy. I get what you've been through and I'm sorry about it. I support you even when you could've been treating J.D. better but enough is enough. You had your conversation with Dick and you can let that wound scab over now, Drake. That conversation should have shown you how very different J.D. is from Richard; Even if they're both bisexual, to put them together is like comparing apples and oranges. Jimmy will never do to you what Dick did. It's time, Drake. Shit or get off the pot. I get you're still afraid but you can't be still anymore. Move on afraid. Love J.D. afraid. The time for action is at hand.
