Ember did Kate a solid by gently letting her know that she shouldn’t be putting her son’s business in the street like that, sounds like she and Timothy need to join a PFLAG chapter. Good chapter, slow tease to real one on one time between Ember and Brady.

They’re married!! Yay!! I loved the description of their wedding bands (blue diamonds?!?? 💎 *drool*) And congratulations to the new Mayor and Sheriff. I was reminded in this chapter that this all covers about a two month time span, quite a lot has happened; the Adams brothers finding love in whirlwind romances being my favorite. Lovely chapter, sojourn, thank you. I’m going to miss this story when it ends.

Fu<*ing hot!! 🔥🔥 Mo Guan Shan is a lamb willingly being led to the slaughter. He’s so into his own attraction and feelings he doesn’t realize that He Tian’s interest in him is genuine. I think He Tian’s attraction to Mo is stronger but that is evening up really quickly. This is good, Laura.

I pouted when I saw the “complete” designation on the story but I understand it was time; I can’t remember the last time I pouted, 😆. The epilogue was exquisitely touching. Drake and Jimmy went through hell to be this happy and it’s deserved. There were moments that took my breath away (the red lilies to plant and bloom as a reminder of the day they got engaged). It was wonderful to see Drake’s parents back together and owning their failings and doing their best to make up for it, as well as the coming together of his whole family. Jimmy Dean is fucking perfect!! But you know what? One’s partner is a reflection of oneself and after Drake Richmond (love the symmetry of his names together) got over his biggest hurdle I know he’s been pretty fucking perfect too. Happily Ever After doesn’t mean there won’t be fights or challenges but these two soulmates will get through anything together, for better and for worse, in good times and in bad. My skilled, sweet, sensitive, platonic friend, you done did good!! 😘 🍺 💝

Your writing Abo’s funeral not too far past from Liz’ rings true to real life-it often happens that death has a season (the saying I grew up with was that “death comes in threes”; As I got older I’ve heard “death comes in threes and sevens” & I have seen the threes and up, never seven, thank God). Your deep connection to these characters and excellent writing skills was a guarantee you would handle this with the depth and sensitivity it deserves and you did.

So Daniel is a fucked up kid who tortures those he loves and hates anyone or anything else in his way. Henry is a fucked up prick who is either obsessed with Artie or just plain psychotic or a sociopath, I can’t tell which yet. I like Artie but I’m not liking how dimwitted he’s coming across. Has he had some previous trauma, besides what Henry did? I’m picking up a definite fragility about him from this chapter. Maybe something to do with his brother. Well, I’m caught now. I normally don’t like psychodramas but the story definitely intrigues me. *reluctantly fastening my seatbelt*.

A very hot opening to the chapter; Me likey. It seems Daniel is fixating on Arty (“Nice Daddy”/“Old Daddy?!?!) and wants everyone else out of the way; Me no likey. Yes, I saw the tags for the story and the title of the next chapter 😳 but I’m hoping it ends with Jack & Arty still together with Geil. I’m not thinking Daniel will stick.

Andy is paying a huge price for a lapse in judgment. My sympathies are strictly with him. I can’t foresee any good results from an interview with Bob (some “friend”) and Tyrone; Mrs. Dewsbury and that whole lot need to fall into a hole in the ground (or back to the alternate universe they live in) AFTER they straighten things out for Andy. At least Jazz gets a CD. Woo Hoo.
