It may be a pet peeve of yours, but I find that I overlook punctuation in dialog, I form my own voice in my head with the way the story is going. Like if the character is angry - normally people who are angry talk louder and faster... but anyway, I can see where a comma in the wrong place or a period creating two sentences can be a bother... I know I did that a lot when I first started writing... terrible habit of mine that I've been working on.
Lol - Mattie's name was brought up more than once. I'm the only one that has called him an Asexual, and that's because I am joking with him. He's not an Asexual - he's waiting for the right time and guy before he unleashes his inner-slut.
Aww. Thanks guys and girls.
It wasn't as nerve shattering as I thought it would be - didn't cry until afterwards, thought I'd be a blubbering idiot or something, but thankfully that didn't happen.
Hmm.. you better do more than tease us EricA... And, you and I have/had the same problem with dialog punctuation..
Good part though I wanna read more and since I'm your favorite... send it.
Lol. The example seems familiar, I believe it is mine. Thanks for outing my poor grammar, I am pretty guilty at times. I do know the difference in the two words and when to use them, I just don't pay that much attention at times. No harm though, that/than word usage and your/you're is a big pet peeve of mine, and it sucks that I used the word wrong myself.. lmao.
This is kind of off topic.. and.. inappropriate for someone soon to be married.. lol.. but that guy is kind of cute... he did name two males that were 24 though so that's a bit odd.. hmm.
Anyway, I will be married when I'm 24. Already have my college degree... been working, boo. I don't know, 24 does seem to be a bit too old to date someone 18 years old.. I've been through too many growing pains after turning 18 - I may not have enough in common to date someone that young.. But heh, not judging though. To me, 24 is a bit less scary than turning 25.. lol. I don't like thinking that I'm half way to 30.
I clean the showers every day... I'm a clean freak as it is. I also like to relax in the shower or bath, can't really do that if you think it isn't as clean as you like to think. I have my own bathroom though..
So no, I don't think it's odd. Maybe once too much.. in your daily cleaning. If it gives your family peace of mind and it's not a bad inconvenience, I would say keep at it. Bathroom cleanliness is extremely important.
