I am pretty much the same person here as I am online... personality wise. I've showed a few people my pictures on GA, so they know what I look like as well. I'm not one to lie or anything, I couldn't keep them straight if I tried. I've always been a bad liar.. so I just don't do it. I am though, afraid that my real life friends, especially Aaron to stumble onto my site and stories.. I would be so self-conscious if he was to read my blog and stories - more so my stories. But heh.. definitely the same person offline and on.

I agree, I watched a show on Nat. Geo about that. Chimpanzees and other primates divert their eyes from us, but a dog will meet eye contact. Even following our gaze to see what we're looking at, and etc. So they've made a bond with humans, definitely.

Heh, there was this one guy saying, "they're trying to take my marriage," over and over to me when I told him that I supported Gay Marriage. I told him that "they" aren't taking anything "they" just want their own marriage. It goes along with the affirmation thing, people want to have the same rights, sure, but when socially the strongest and highest level of love falls on being able to marry that one person you love.. I hate that we don't allow that for people. So he thought that if our country legalized gay marriage it took away or diminished his marriage. I had to practice a lot of patience with him... especially since he was on his third wife after throwing away two marriages.

The think with Rottweilers, German Shepard, Dobermans, and Pit Bulls is their genetics are so clouded with aggressive blood lines. They were all bred into being these large, hard mouthed, protective or fighting dogs. The common usage of the Pitt Bull Terrier is to protect property or fight. So the "best" protectors and the "best" fighters are the ones that carry on the genes more so than the cuddle/loving characteristics. In essence we have mostly eliminated the lighter characteristic of a lot of breeds of dogs. Likely close to or the same blood lines that every owner of a pit bull and so on will own whether they want to or not, it is in the dog. These breeds aren't usually sought out by the normal dog owner, they typically mostly still do what they were bred to do. As for the Dachshund they're hunting dogs. They take on anything from a fox to a badger so they had to be tough. It is difficult to breed out those characteristics when they were so selective in the past. That doesn't mean that we're at fault though, these traits served a purpose or the dogs never would have existed. They may not have been a "glorious" purpose though. We like to point the blame at the "now" owners, and yeah bad owners do make bad pets, but it is also in the genetic make-up. That doesn't mean that these dogs cannot be nice... I've been around a 180 lbs of solid Rottweiler and he was a teddy bear around the entire family, even letting their baby ride him like a pony... The tendencies are still there no matter who the owner is though. All dogs have their quirks, but you can research and a lot of things will be similar within the breed. I don't really trust a Pit Bull, not around children or the elderly especially. There is always exceptions but, no. If I lived alone or with one other adult human, no other animals or no children I wouldn't rule out owning one. I know what I would be getting into, but the average owner definitely doesn't need to own any of the dogs I discussed - maybe except for the Dachshund or Chihuahua and that's only because of their size. I hate seeing people pick out a dog that is bred to be this hard working, loyal, but protective breeds, the hyper active breeds, and try to turn them into these whimpering couch potato dogs. I would much rather see the Herding dogs out herding things. The hunting dogs hunting than any of them tearing up the house, the property, the lawn, because they have too much intelligence, energy, and hardened bred instincts and characteristics for their owners to handle. I don't condone PitBull fighting though... that's probably a double standard I can get away with.

I am born in January and four of my younger brothers and sisters were also born in January. None of my brothers or sisters were born later than June.. kind of weird.

Yeah, I could tell in the trailer that the acting could be weak, but I'm used to watching movies with a great plot with bad acting. It beats watching a lot of good actors/actresses take on an incredibly stupid plot though. (Oceans 11,12,13; Closer)

I saw the first trailer for the movie, but heh.. I remembered really wanting to watch it, thanks for reminding me Viv.

The last time I saw Steve Tyler, was on one of those super market sleaze magazine/news papers... in a speedo. He looked like an anorexic drag queen with one too many lip injections.. Not pretty. I would hate to see him trying to appeal to the massive audience.. I would be more scared of him in the judging room than Simon.

I'm a neat freak. When I wake up I make my bed. I have my closet organized with all my hand bags and shoes having their own special compartments and boxes. There are three rooms in the house that I just cannot stand having anything out of place.. the living room, kitchen, and my bedroom. Sadly I can't really force that same sort of neatness on the rest of the family.. lol, but I don't go into their rooms all that much. At work I'm the only person that can see the top of their desk. I'm the only one that keeps paper in the fax machine and in my printer. I "swiffer" my floor every evening where others do it maybe twice a month? I hate dirt and I hate looking for things.. so I am definitely a neat freak.

Not much for Cartoons, but my younger brother loved King of the Hill at one time... thank god he out grew them... still working on ending his love for the Simpsons though. But, isn't Mike Judge the writer/creator of King of the Hill too? Sigh... I hate dumb cartoons.
