Most of my male friends I have dated, but I dated them before I considered them as close valued friends. I would never date someone I'm currently friends with though, I value my friendships too much to lose a friend over a failed relationship, as I would have a hard time reverting back to just being friends after dating someone, especially if it becomes a long, and important dating relationship. Well, I only have three straight friends who aren't married and like I said, I already dated them. But people do I think befriend someone with the thought that they would make a good prospect to date. I know I've done that too, and I think most people do that unless they speed date or go on blind dates. It usually takes becoming closer, becoming friends, and then either staying friends or going on to the next step, so at least the thought of dating them and maybe even the feelings are there, but once they are valued friends - they stay as friends.

There has been some interest from Members who want to submit something for GAzette, so here is some things to consider and some steps to follow. Here is what you can submit: Book Reviews: The books selected for review don't have to be GLBT related. They can be Best Selling, books from the past and current. Or just a book that you have read that was of interest to you, and you would want to share. If you post a book review, you must have the Author and Title of the book (obvious I know), do keep from plagiarism and copying, as that is not a book review. Do not use Book summaries, websites that offer summaries, or any other outside help just for the sake of posting something. In other words - Please, have read the book you write a review for. Do your own article. Movie Reviews: Like Book reviews, they don't have to be current. They don't have to be GLBT. Just something of interest, provide the title and the director. Watch the movie and don't rely on outside sources. News Articles: Keep them current. Summarize the article, you may include your own personal opinion, but remain within the codes of conduct that GA has in place. Be respectful. Again, they can be of interest to you, not necessarily GLBT. Please stay away from Celebrity gossip. Sneak Peeks: We can offer you a spot to sneak peek something you want, that can reach wide spread to all members receiving the Newsletter. Anthologies are excluded from Sneak Peeks. Story submission rules are in effect, please have it edited in advance. Keep in mind, that we won't submit everything that is sent to us on the up and coming GAzette. The Newsletter Team will read and discuss which of them to submit and when. If we think the Book Review, Movie Review, News Article, or Sneak Peek isn't within the guidelines or incomplete we will be in contact to resolve the issue. As of right now, you don't have to worry about a deadline. Deadlines may be in place in the future for submissions desired to be included in the up and coming Newsletter. Ok then. You've sold the movie to me.. lol. I did some more research and watched the trailer again as well. I know that Gordon-Levitt and Ryan are good actors. I just haven't ever seen a good movie from Tatum at all.. he is a model/actor though. It does have a good message and I love the Director, so yeah, I'll give the movie a watch when it hits Blockbuster.. lol. I don't like theaters too much at all.

I like Michael as well. I would like to see one of the non-pop people win. Carly, Michael, David C., and the former Nanny.. I can't remember her name. The guy that resembles John Travolta, I can't see making it too much longer, but he doesn't fit into the pop mold either. So the different styles of artists this season is really good and represented.

Oh how I love Ryan, but I did notice him trying out a thick southern accent and it's sad to say, but if I find something annoying, the entire message of the movie is lost on me.. lol. Even though, it does convey an aspect of the Military that is unfair, I doubt I'll be able to get past the fake southern accents.. But, at least, from what I've read about the movie, it does seem like a movie well put together. I love the director Kimberly Pierce as well so I may just watch it because I know it was in good hands with her.. lol. I just hope it was only a few parts the southern accent is laid on thick. I like slight southern accents, but the fake ones are just... terrible and unnecessary as not everyone who lives in the south has one. I don't have one. The eye-candy will definitely be good though.

The rockers usually go far if they're good, but they never win it. So, even if he is belting out performances like this, as there has been a few that I've loved from him, he won't win. There are too many young pop music loving - voters for a true rock star to win, I believe. Lol . He can sing, but yeah, way too young. There is no lasting career for him outside the show until he gets older. And, I think he should enjoy his prom instead of being in the competition.

Oh goodness Kevin. I cannot wait for read stuff from you. As for me, I usually have a song or a set of similar songs that inspire me to write. Not really, the plot aligning with those songs and their theme, but there are a few favorite emotional songs that lead my to day dreaming and such and allows for creativity to happen with me. For Roommates actually the songs that I listened to are: Jewel - 1000 Miles Away "1000 Miles Away" It's morning time, wonder where you are wonder who you're talking to wonder if the sun has risen where you are it's morning time, i miss your hands on my skin this bed's too big without you oh god, what do i do? I had listened to both songs before I started thinking about the story. If they directly influenced the story then Roommates wouldn't be what it is. So really, my inspirational lyrics are more like mood setting songs instead of influential.

Pheromones can easily manipulate any species that uses them to attract a mate. Predatory lightening bugs copy the light of smaller species, then eats the poor males that fly in looking to get lucky. But, anyway, Pheromones of I think, common garden snakes in Canada - males use them to trick other males into believing they are female so that they can divert attention away from the female snakes. They have never figured out if Humans act on hidden pheromones, I personally think we don't have the ability to, that we're more sight oriented. Our sense of smell is crap anyway. Also, I really hate knowing as well, that people have paid good money for some people to watch insects perform homosexual acts. Sexuality in animals is something I'd really see no point in studying... even homosexual behavior in a number of species just seems too primitive/basic to wonder if animals have different orientations.. Human sexuality, as our brains are complex, would be more interesting. Even though, I'd really not want to know how it all comes to be with humans either.

Lol.. Oh! Well, it was way off compared to what I was thinking, and I'll not share that little bit of my imagination. I have yet to use the Urban Dictionary for anything, but if the terminology is well known, then I bet it was just a poor choice. But, at least I can laugh with the humor behind it and not be lost, so thanks. Edit: It's his own personally designed and named Candy Bar. So the name of it can be a bit sketchy in how he came to that particular name.. ?

You know, I forgot all about Easter... I am definitely not on the top of things. When people started calling me this weekend wondering when the Easter dinner is, I kind of looked at a calendar then freaked. All is well though, two weeks from now will be our family's celebration for Easter. The kids that will actually get a kick out of finding an egg in the grass don't know that I flubbed on the day. I did though, get them all their baskets and gave them to them. But, yeah.. Happy Easter!

Call me a blonde if you must, but I don't get it.. lol. All I see is a cheap candy bar ad about BigMo's Candy bar that Dale Jr. is sponsoring on a Race Car? I've been one to miss a few things now and again, but I may need this one explained me still. Seeing a few races in my day, I don't think D Jr. is particularly intelligent, but that's just me.

I like this article. I have that kind of relationship with Jason, but it wasn't always with him, but now that Derek is "as married as a gay couple can be in Kentucky" to Greg, Jason and I go out more and talk more, and all that. And it is significantly different compared to the things I tell David and how I am with him with certain things and how I am with Jason, Derek, and Greg. But anyway, it was a sweet article.

I have a strong craving for Orange juice. If I don't have any for awhile, I can down a whole gallon in a span of four days.. lol. It's a healthy juice to drink, but I do crave that more than anything. I also have a craving for cucumbers as well. I did learn that people crave sweet and salty foods, the whole reason we add enough salt to things to taste the change is because our body is making us crave it. So we are definitely prone to having strong cravings. We don't crave sour and bitter tasting foods because our bodies apply those to potentially dangerous substances.

Hmm, Amanda is the Rocker girl.. shew.. I kind of liked her earlier stuff, but there are just a handful of songs that would fit her voice.. and the bad songs really sounded messed up coming from her. So I'm glad she's gone, she didn't have any range.. David Archuleta's voice is becoming annoying. Whisper sounding and weak at times. He said he had an illness or something that paralyzed his vocals at one time though, so I don't really know if that's the reason it sounds airy. It's just not working. I like the song choices he makes most of the time though. It has turned into a popularity contest. Carly was in the bottom three and Chackezi (however you spell his name) did a sorry harmonica-mess that I just couldn't finish watching.. and he's still there... annoying. I'm kind of glad I rarely keep track of television shows, so maybe if it gets worse I'll just "forget" to watch it.

I've not had too many long lasting relationships that I would consider meaningful. Even though, I voted for the long relationship, I've not really been out there dating too many people after High School. I've had three meaningful relationships, and the one that lasted the longest is the most meaningful for me. I fell fast for one and another I probably never should have dated as we were too different on too many levels of our lives. So really, time for me makes things more meaningful, because my relationship with David, I've never really been able to shake myself away from that. I don't really want to now, but there was a time that I did and couldn't. People are different, so, I can't really consider a fast, strong, connecting relationship meaningful, because in my experience when that happens, the differences cause less damage than the strong connections later in the relationship. Just like anything new, it has to have sustaining principals to continue on an appropriate level. So I just get the connection then as soon as I realize the relationship hasn't grown from that, I break it off, I won't drudge through a connectionless relationship at all waiting for the.. "good times."

Let's see, I could easily say David and I have been together for a while, but I'm going to say that my longest relationship has been with David for, if I can remember correctly (god help me when it comes to remembering anniversaries) a year and three months. Then we broke it off and I dated two other people and now I'm back going strong with him again. But, I've been "dating him" off and on for about two years. In high school my relationships barely lasted over 6 months and really none of those counted. After getting away from all that the mature relationships were entirely more rewarding. It was definitely a dramatic change. Anyway, I love seeing so many people have made it through all the years with their significant others. It's so gratifying to know that it can be done.

If chickens and turkey didn't exist I'd be a vegetarian. I just don't like eating anything else as it's a taste issue with me and I'm a picky eater (although, I'll try anything once if it's bbq'd) It's easy to say it's not wrong when you've been subject to eating meat in your lifetime. It's also easy to say no when most people don't see what goes into the steps from a live animal to the plate at home... I know I don't really want to see the steps myself, but living in Kentucky I have seen a chicken meet his end once and it didn't phase me at all. Definitely not something I'd work on doing as a practice though, even if my neighbor's chickens drive me insane daily when they fly over our fence and scratch around my flowers.. so watching a few of those killed for dinner would be justified.
