I'm stunned. We've lost a true icon and he will be missed.

I was one of those weary parents for many years... good memories. Thanks for reading!

Florida has always had a large homeless population. Some areas are worse than others. Surprisingly, though it's not as bad as one would think considering our climate. I know our west coast.. California, Oregon and Washington have huge issues. I recently read that California's homeless population increased to the point where that state alone accounts for almost 30% of the total homeless across the US. Our government will spend billions of dollars on foreign aid before attempting to fix the myriad of problems right in our own backyard. It's sad. As a property manager, I have no choice but to call the Sheriff when we have homeless on our property. Most of the time they move on, but occasionally we do have to trespass someone. It's unfortunate but necessary considering the nature of our business. There is no clear-cut solution if our government insists on fixing the rest of the world before focus on what really should matter. You bring up such a valid point, tim when you suggest doing something.. even if it's as simple as donating directly to a local shelter.

Probably not too often, but I'm sure there is some more prose in my noggin that will get written down. Thanks for opening my eyes. xoxo

I'm trying. Thanks weinerdog!

Thanks Al. For as much as time can be a thief, it gives us some wonderful memories too.

Wonderful job, tim. I'm coming around to this whole poetry thing. Thank you for expanding my world. 🩷

Into the Past Salt on the breezy wind around us I feel the sand between my toes and listen to the waves crashing on the shore Sweat drips from my brow as I stand and cheer as the air is ripped apart by the crack of a bat connecting hard Sunny days stretch out endlessly as my youth remains blissfully ignorant of the ravages of time Frosty mornings greet me as the school bell beckons Inside we learn to read and count as our fading daydreams drift away Fie

Just some fleeting thoughts.

Happy Spring weather to you too... April showers bring May flowers and all that... I'm good with bats as long as they stay flying around outside. They eat my most-hated nemesis... mosquitoes. As for appointments.. I'm scheduled for an MRI tomorrow. I've ordered crutches in anticipation of being placed on complete rest... aka.. no weight bearing for 6-8 weeks. Hopefully the MRI doesn't show anything worse than severe tendinitis or a small tear. Have a good day everyone!

Both mine are 6 footers.. the older is right at 6 feet.. the younger is about 6'2". My tallest brother topped out around 6'4". He was 6' by the time he was 12..lol
-
Anyone over six feet is big (tall... same thing in my book). I grew up in a family of over six-footers. All of my five foot seven inch height got me the title of shorty in my family. Lol Also.. you know I'm not like most people.

You're 6 foot forever... What did you think I meant? 🤭🤣

So I've been told..

Stubborn, huh?

Keep up, big guy... Keep up.

Congrats! New opportunities are always exciting!

I threw them out!!!!! (And they were the smaller size... just stuff I never used regularly) 😉😆

Expired stuff... Depends on what it is. Dairy based products.. buh-bye. Something like condiments.. as long as they didn't change color or smell funky they can hang out a little longer. Canned goods I'll let slide for a while, but if it's more than a year then it's time to part ways. With this last move I ended up tossing a bunch of spices that expired before the dawn of time..lol.

Thanks for some "light" reading on a quiet Sunday morning..🤭 I'm probably totally off here... but it seems to me that they need to find a way to disrupt the flow of energy that is creating these barriers. Maybe Jamie should have brought some C-4 and explosives to destroy the building? Just a thought. Now to wait a week.

Whenever you post your poetry I always have to read each one a couple of times. Most times I figure out what the theme is pretty quickly. Occasionally, it leaves me wondering. But that's what you've taught me about poetry.. it's subjective. So... here we go: I am worthy of my own word and love myself enough now to keep it ❤️🩷❤️🩷 Eclipse... nicely done Senryu- I never heard of this term. Loved it. Human inventions are not always a good thing. Anxiety- true, there is nothing to fear, but try telling that to your brain when it won't stop spinning. Luckily, there is help. It will pass. Critter... do you have a Charlotte hanging out in a corner web somewhere? Original/Rearranged... my favorite for the sole reason of having a reaction of... how the hell did he do that? Amazing. 13... sad, but true. As always, my friend, you made me think... and for a Sunday morning that in itself is quite the accomplishment. Keep up the good work. 🩷

Alles Gute zum Geburtstag! Have a wonderful day!

Another edition of of marathon cooking is done for the day. More egg roll in a bowl (8 baggies) 9 stuffed peppers A crockpot of deconstructed cabbage rolls. L eftover rice for 4 baggies ... and my personal favorite... spicy peanut chicken & noodles. I had enough for 5 lunches this week and shall freeze them to bring into work. There was enough leftover for my son to have a serving.... "Mom! This is my new favorite thing ever!" Of freaking course it is... 🤦♀️ He did help a lot today with everything so I got more done than I thought I would. Tomorrow is more rice and roasting some veggies. Hubs and I got the tv mounted on the wall finally too. I'm a little beat.

First of all: It’s action time, but not in that box. I may have to borrow this line to use on hubby 🤣🤣🤣 Jamie is rightfully pissed. Now he has another stumbling block if he wants to come clean to Mike regarding his abilities. There's always the chance RMW won't keep his promise and read Jamie's thoughts. It's pretty much guaranteed to happen... like Superman instinctively using his superstrength to open a stuck jar lid. This chapter is like the eye of a hurricane for Jamie... he weathered the landfall of the media frenzy... now the backside of the storm is about to hit.. in case anyone doesn't know.. the back wall of a hurricane is the worst part of the beast. Jamie needs to be on his toes for Monday and the full moon.
