  1. A really fun read, even if you aren’t a fan of puns these guys are hot. And a special place for Kosmo. A cleverly-written story. V enjoyable.
  2. Phew 😮‍💨 think I’ve got an oil leak…..
  3. Got to read this first, make first love emoji and now first comment! Laura, this story continues to captivate me. The drama is as perfectly pitched as is Rusty’s voice. And now we wait for Jonathan’s return…. Soon I hope 🤞 Easily the best current story playing out. Brava!

    Chapter 40

An almost perfect chapter - intrigue, mystery, CODY, etc. - but then I noticed a horrible four-letter swear word beginning with Z. NO, NO, NO. Mr A do I have to ring Elizabeth to deal with a Zach situation? ps anybody have her number??

    Chapter 40

    Yes AMAZING!!!

    Chapter 64

A master class in naval crew management. What in the hands of most authors could/would have been boring, here turning into a really fascinating chapter showing all of the author’s skills. wonderful stuff A+++
  7. “Wonderful” is the word. I feel it’s time for another read through for me this summer 😊

Go for it! And a snap for me of Klingsor’s Garden, please…..
  9. Multi-layered, mega-long chapter. I was feeling pretty seasick reading, but more for the slimy “pastor” than because of the waves. I fear a bit of landslide drama is about to occur. many thanks mr D. A great read as I go to bed 😍

Now that the book is complete I think you should have no doubts about comedy. I suspect many readers have been smiling or chuckling throughout the story. It has been a fun and funny read. Thank you.
  11. Like a deliciously cool lemon syllabub- light, airy, so lemony it pervades the senses and with a kick of something strong. a delightful tale, full of colour. This is a great addition to the Ravello series (a must) but stands on its own as a magical tale. Easily a 5*****

I think with Reza it’s important to avoid labelling ( and self-labelling). It all depends on how he processes this. fabulous story, James.
  13. A really great chapter but overshadowed, for me, by the fear of what is to come. If Maddox were a cool, calm and chilled sort of guy there would be no problem on his return. All could be explained simply and innocently. However, he is a green-eyed jealous monster, filled with self.doubt…. I fear the worst. Our author is torturing us!
  14. Yes, sadly, I agree. In the midst of the star-struck romance is the reality still in 2022 of negativity.

Why do I give in and go shopping “for a look around at the offers”? 1. After dragging me around “he” never buys anything. 2. He complains I stress him out. 3. In my boredom I buy something, usually unnecessary and expensive… So, good, dr, not only do I hate crowds like you, I just hate shopping, full stop. End of rant. dr Gary

I think James is teasing us like a fly- fisherman with the salmon coming upstream, as it were, as he casts his rod, as it were. forgive me but I love this story and how the author is playing with Reza and with us. Bravo 👏

    Monday

In a local beach near Valencia, those who dare to assemble umbrellas etc in “la primera linea” and head off for hours will find the umbrellas gone and a (large) fine awaiting them…. Take note holiday makers around the Med!!

Trust me, having been there with my mother and a dear friend, you can inspect one too many pottery pieces with lemon decorations. Being taken to a market in Amalfi was against my human rights!!

    Sunday

Okay, we’ve had the seafood linguine ( no cheese, please for me), now bring on a delicious semifredo dessert with lemoncello. This is making me seriously hungry after a snack supper. great stuff, mr C 🤗

    Chapter 38

A perfect comment which resonates for all Mark’s fans. But not too much of this vacation stuff for authors, okay. For their public, like you and me, yes. Don’t encourage mr A to relax tooooo much 😊😊 😂
  22. I struck lucky in the 80’s. Friends long gone but I escaped, another memory being smuggled on to a USAF nuclear base for a night of fun…. After the MPs had been bribed 😱
  23. Thought-provoking. Yes, I remember the old scene in London, shaking hands with the Village People’s cowboy, falling into wet concrete as I left Heaven, climbing along a low roof to get in at 03.00. Those were the days…..
  24. Thanks. Some unknown, to me, stuff. I must find your reviews. Regards.
  25. A great line up of characters, each flawed to some extent. A lot can happen in 150k words and I’m hooked !!! good work, so far.
