Thank you! I tripped on a step at school on first day of term. Karate chopped the concrete and broke a v small bone. Given it was a work “accident” HR is mollycoddling me in case I sue them…… I just want to get back to my kids and classes. Still, I could start writing a GA epic……. 🤗

Tomorrow with only two fingers I will start my version of “Circumnavigation” combining it with life aboard Captain Granger’s boat and CJ’s experience in Mexico. Plus visits from Will Schulter to keep me smiling.

Only 6 chapters…… MrsG I’m off work for another xxxx month for a tiny fracture in my hand and I need to be looked after with extra chapters, mega-long brilliant stories as you do so well…… I can’t be ungrateful but I’m begging you…… cue soppy music. god, I’m pathetic when I’m off sick.

I’ve been reading this on a different phone unable to comment. So here goes: this is an amazing story, truly unique in my experience. I’m glued to it. every chp has something to challenge my preconceptions which is a sign of great writing. I love this tough read. Well done so far!!!

I’m not an into babies sort of person but this was another really good chp - lots of Strong emotions around but well-judged. so it’s a Yes from me. 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

I think it’s because at various points in Will’s life when he feels he can/ought to be able to rely on Zach he is let down, really badly. He is more forgiving than your readers! -
Looks like Will is getting into what could be a difficult triangle. Raw emotions everywhere…..

I so agree. I’ve read and enjoyed them all, even the ones with themes/genre I wouldn’t usually choose. So I’ve got some previously unknown to me authors to read. There were, however, a few that I felt were outstandingly good, and one is a gold medal winner for me. Who is it? Ahhh that would be telling but the clues are in my reviews. Being off work for weeks, now, the anthology has been a godsend. Congratulations and many thanks to the great authors represented here. 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 -
I love Bellini the artist, Bellini the composer of great operas, and Bellini the cocktail. And now we have another Bellini, a great little story full of delightful descriptions and a wide range of emotions beautifully expressed by the author. Having read this I’m off to see what else Cole has written. If it is as good as this readers will be v happy. thank you and well done!

Good story. Anyone traveling to Venice must go to Harry’s Bar, a tourist trap in summer but when I went on a crisp winter morning it was amazing. Bellini’s were invented here and, of course, one is never enough!

Working in a tatty gift shop losing money thanks to her son’s useless choice of goods and financial incompetence, our heroine has had enough…. Read on for an enjoyable, fun time with a v clever twist at the end. Very funny 😄

Like a phoenix arising from the ashes of a disaster, Woodrow moves forward with hope. This is one of the best pieces of an outstanding anthology. I strongly recommend it, and as another reviewer says, if you aren’t aware of Headstall’s other writings, get started. a 5* read which has ideas and emotions floating around in my head.

This short tale is a reason why the anthology is so good. I never normally read fantasy stories. Wolves, mages etc., are not my thing. And yet, having committed myself to read and review every entry this year, I found this to be really good. The writing is excellent and the world we enter is intriguing. Already readers are asking for more, which is the best compliment possible. so, even if you aren’t really into medieval fantasy, try this and, like me, you may be in for a nice surprise wel done, author
