    The missing piece

Now I get the reference to coconut milk in your sparring with Mrs G in lowlife. 🤤
  2. A triumph of a brilliant author creating something I have seen hints of elsewhere but not like this. Reading this story I have felt part of an incredible creative synergy between an author and her readers, and between her loyal readers The great 19th- century authors like Dickens and Trollope wrote in installments and received huge amounts of letters. In our age, IMs allow us to interact at an instant and even receive replies! why do I say all this? It’s simple. This is one great story about a story written by an amazing author whose public react like no other. The rest is just detail. No, seriously, Mrs G has outdone herself. Brava!!!

    Moving Reasons

Intriguing, to say the least! Another great read, but more than that. I can remember being glued to the election in Georgia but was largely ignorant of so much Black history. I’ve learnt a lot, and much of it humbling. great job, thank you so much 😊
  4. Ok. Given that I have a large number of multiple personalities, can I recommend on behalf of my “friends” Count Dracula, Mary Poppins and Gary the Snail????? That could SCARE Mrs M as well….

    The Perfect Date

After a calm(ish) Saturday, I thought Sunday was v special. I love the way you have allowed the complete Jonathan to start being revealed. in awe of your writing ✍️

    Chapter 33

Ace chapter. This gap year is already showing how much Will has grown but still keeping his cheeky side. The combination is compelling. Bravo, mr A

Another 5***** part of a really great series. I have always enjoyed the on-going story, even if not always a fan of the hero, but this is a very good read. The story in Mexico is well-set and our heroes have a roller coaster ride. A must!

    Chapter 32

Will is the man 👨!!! great work, again mr A. Thank you so much. The depth you have created in your characters is, for me, the best of your writing, you should give classes!!!!
  10. Not many of us got a second, or third chance to reconnect. This is a lovely, lovely story. I adore huge sagas a la Mark Arbour or Carlos H but this story shows great things really can come in small packages, and are the better for that. As Carlos says in a succinct comment: Read it. I did and so must you.

“Bimbo”???? Tut tut. BTW originally a bimbo was a rich, useless GUY in the 1920’s (I’m listening to PG Wodehouse audio books). Perhaps time to abandon the word….. Forgive me. The story continues beautifully but the word jarred.
  13. Great read - as usual up to our very high expectations!!! I’m imagining how Rusty might entitle his tell- all memoirs …. Any offers, Laura?
  14. Mrs G. The man said No. Listen to him, please……

    Chapter 30

Really, really good. What a gap year Will is having! As ever, for me, although the “events” of the story are great, I love even more the way mr A develops the emotional growth, or not (!) of his characters. 5*****

    Chapter 29

What a nice treat, Mr A. I’ve been laid low with Covid for a week and have reread all of the Granger series, finishing a moment ago. About to turn off the light and see a sole notification…. many thanks and congratulations for being a really great writer. Regards from Spain 🇪🇸

    Celebrating Loren

A pair of misplaced stand-up comedians!!!

    A history lesson

A great god of British cycling has just opened up in newspapers today of the decades-long effects of being groomed at 13 by a coach. I was being groomed by my seminary morals (yes, ironic) prof but escaped and buried it for years. Kids, like adults, can lie but we must be open to their truth. The way you have dealt with this for Loren is very well done. Thank you.

    Celebrating Loren

I loath American football as much as Loren and have zero interest in “social influencers”…. And yet I am totally glued to this story (and the comments!). The reason? Your wonderful skill at writing. The language is exquisite, the characters engaging, and a great storyline. thank you Mrs G ps. I think a certain person is a little bitter and twisted, no names but are editors normally so cruel??? Pps you are both wonderful
  20. Another strong book in the series. Will-lovers will love it, of course, but we also see how much it costs to be a poor man’s son entering the world of the super rich. a great installment!!
  21. Although 12 years old, this excellent tale is timeless. Beautifully written, it follows the story of Isaac from despair to allowing hope to break through. one of the best books I have read on this site. A 5***** story

    Chapter 8

What a find! This is great writing. I have worked with abuse survivors and been an icu pastor. The technical side is perfectly written and the emotional side seriously good.

So, so good to catch up with Granger and company. Russia seems far away already. Great work, mr A.

    Jay's Loelife

As good a read as this story is ( and mrs m hasn’t let us down yet), the on going duel of words between @kbois and @Mrsgnomie is a work of art. 😂
