Another good read and, of course, cut off just before he gets to Nathan's bedroom. Be careful, mrDodger, your soon to be isolated agian, number one fan in Spain needs no horrible cliffhangers....... 😍😈😈😈😈😈😈😈
Having spent two hours preparing lunch, I open my tablet and there is the penultimate epilogue of a great story 👏 And now to doze thinking of those Californian hills.....💤💤💤💤💤 and all that wealth....... I want to reincarnate as one of Mark A's characters......
Dont think my life will ever be the same after meeting Nan! A very tough tale wrapped up in all types of humour:dry, blue, ironic etc.. Fantastic read.
We stayed in my first motel near Hearst Castle. Next morning my lawyer friend asked me if I would be upset if that night we sped to the Fairmount hotel in SF as he didnt feel safe in a motel. The motel had seemed fine to me but uk lawyers need 5***** treatment!!
I know even less than JeffreyL about American football. Im a Brit whose school sports were rugby and cricket. Nevertheless, Carlos has kept me intrigued with this tale.the ending was a bit abrupt but it left me wanting more.
As ever, a great read whilst hiding form a heatwave here in Spain.
Another great read. Mr Arbour has great skill in presenting 3-dimensional characters who grow and develop naturally. My only regret is that Im not lounging about in a sunken bath as I read. Excellent story
Are US schools still like this? I was in an all boy UK Grammar School in the 70's. There was never any bullying. I feared I was gay (as a Catholic lad) but apart from the odd Insult to which I replied with interest, there was nothing to fear.
This is aNother really good episode in the long naval saga. Exchanging naval battles ofor struggles onshore, this adds a nice twist and allows the author todevelop some characters even more. 5. ***** read. But read the series in order. You won't regret it.
