Exactly! I was once smuggled on to a USAF nuclear bomber base near Oxford ... perhaps I should tell the tale one day.. 😃 Sadly, the story I was writing for today is on hold. COVID has struck. P is rather poorly; I’m awaiting my turn…. -

I only buy corn-fed, free-range chicken. The problem is it’s about x3 the price of the awful white stuff that most supermarkets sell. Yrs ago a school friend studying agriculture at university had to visit a battery farm. Turned out that the poor creatures were fed fish-based feed until last couple of weeks. Need I say more. Yes, I believe those of us who can afford it should always buy the free range etc. option because that is the only way the price will go down for those less fortunate. apologies if I have offended anyone. -

You too! Here yesterday I had to drive through a flash storm and incredible rain… in the middle of the city (Valencia, Spain). Temperature dropped 13°C in 40 min. Today ironing mission. Do two guys really need 60 polo shirts? All designer labels? We could have gone around the world for that money… if they weren’t from outlets 😛. tomorrow, its mission impossible, finish my prompt story that is driving me mad in my head. I’ve worked in an incoming call centre for a major US investment fund and the word ruthless certainly applied. But when a friend added a zero to a deal selling 12.5 million dollars instead of $1.5m, it was the call center director who was escorted out and not the dealer. Top dog’s view: anyone can make a typo error, where was the security against such errors going through.

Having read a few of the critic’s acidic comments elsewhere, my advice is to ignore his comments. Trying to explain how these guys have got themselves in this awful mess was always going to be a tough call. I, for one, am v happy (although sad) reading this fourth story.

Try that world in Spain where “marketing experts” insist that adding a word in English is better marketing. Thus we had the delights in my educational partnerships of “las schools”, pronounced “eschools” as in España, “las Nights” etc etc.

Totally agree. I’m hooked. Also, any writer who knows their countable/non countable adjectives gets a bonus in my view: Three words or fewer. how many would have put “less”?
