Yes, it feels as if we are there, on the beach, on the deck, everywhere, with these characters. The prose is just a joy to read except when we are taken to feelings that are too uncomfortable. Easily my best read of the year, so far. But just how much torment still lies ahead?- 31 comments

Not sure how I missed this little gem. It’s a lovely tale of the “perfect” son setting out to find himself and how he struck gold. It’s beautifully written, of course, and well worth a read. its put a smile on my face and brought some memories back. Well done 👍
