    Recommendations: 1. If you can’t close the lid on the water container on your iron with your left hand, don’t grip the iron with your right hand…… when the iron is on maximum. I did…… 😓 2.     Yes, “bandbox tidy” is a new one for me, as well!! Robert’s rare words always fit perfectly and the text never seems forced. An excellent chp, one which I have truly enjoyed. 😁 But are there tears on the horizon??!!??

    I had to look RV up on internet! I guessed vehicle but the “r” had me stumped 🤔. And then I got recreational vehicle and assumed a quad bike etc. finally got to good old “motor home”… so much easier…. Or not..

    He was amazing. The epitome of an online friend to so many. And an epic saga writer with his CJ and Aussie tales. He was one of the most popular authors but still found time to engage with our comments and reviews. Look at his worldview description of how life could be for the community and (re)read the series in the light of his philosophy which he expresses there. A great writer and an even better friend.

    My doubts/dislike of “Fab” continue to deepen. At least he hasn’t forced himself on anyone like his awful father Marc, the self-proclaimed great lover. I don’t think he is good news at all, but @Mark Arbour may have turned over a new leaf! and there in the corner is a storm cloud. It’s not really moving and it’s quite a small cloud, but it is very black and meteorologists have warned of an excessive number of claps….of thunder and bolts of lightning. ⚡️ Yes storm J is on the horizon ⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️. We have been warned. Take all necessary precautions. great chapter, @Mark Arbour. Thank you.

    For those of you in hurricane country this is nothing new, but at 19.00 a warning alarm sounded on our mobiles - so scary. The streets outside are deserted and the heavy rain has finally arrived. We will be absolutely fine but the poor people s of Valencia will have even more mud to cope with. And there are people who say there is no climate change….. And, finally, as they say here Bona nit!

    Park gates opposite have been locked as we await another three-day storm even while the disaster areas south of the city are struggling to clear away thousands of wrecked cars and the mud which is everywhere. Meanwhile the north side of Valencia has enjoyed a glorious week of weather and though it rained, the torrential storms stayed south. A lucky break.

    As usual, @Summerabbacat gives us a great précis of the story with reflections on the future which I would never have thought of! Let’s see if our esteemed author agrees….. Another episode but I continue to feel a little uncomfortable with Khan. He’s a bit too good to be true but I like his proposal of being a guarantor. 👍

    This is a very strong piece of writing that hit me like a hammerblow. @Aditus takes us to a tough moment where life prepares to give way to death. It was a challenge to read but so worth it.
