    Chapter 1

Well done, my friend, I would never have guessed it was you… except for the excellent quality of the writing…. (You owe me one x)

@Wesley8890puts it better than I could! Am so with you!

What an incredible day in Escorial, my word! I’m not sure whether private Tim would forgive Will but I think even some Will-haters might agree he was pushed just too far. Phew, all this and Will and Marie have their farewell dinner tonight. Could there be anymore drama? As ever, many thanks, Mark 🤗

Wow, what an experience @drsawzall. Thank you.

    Chapter 21

Hi! I’ve been following this story from the horrific beginnings through to the realistic grit of the last chp. This story resonates authenticity as anyone who has ever suffered any kind of abusive situation ( I refuse to honour it with the word “relationship”) can attest. As part of my road I ended up doing a Masters on male survivors which helped me reconcile with myself, if not with the “adult”. I’ve followed @Mickiesboy for some time and the writing here shows just how his skill grows and grows. I await the final chp with trepidation but know it will be an honest and authentic representation. Well done and thank you so much for putting yourself out there. Gary
  6. As one story finished last week now we are lucky to receive an invitation to revisit Parborough Cathedral city to see what is happening to Ralph and his family. i like the twins, they seem fairly normal and coping with their parents being divorced. It’s nice that they don’t seem to be taking sides…. At the moment. Their mother seems to be an early-middle-aged pain in the neck. And then we have Ralph. 33 years-old but emotionally stuck in his teens. It’s a bid hard to be entirely sympathetic but I’m sure as his story develops his “couldn’t, wouldn’t, shouldn’t” attitude will take a battering. thank you @Robert Hugill for this morning’s treat!
  7. This new installment promises us new delights in Parborough. An excellent opening chapter sets the scene well, with our hero struggling with past memories and a (currently) curtailed future. RECOMMENDED

This story looks as if it could go places. Coming out in a successful immigrant family living their version of the American dream. I’m impressed already,

From the first sentence you have me sucked in and keen to read more. V nice writing.
  10. After @Summerabbacat’s perfect review it seems difficult to say more. Nevertheless, I add more total agreement with his words. The arrival of Robert’s works on GA has been v special and I place them between the tough and desperately sad stories which test our endurance whilst we read on avidly, and on the other hand, the lives of the rich and jet setters. Many thanks and congratulations @RobertHugill.

    Epilogue

FANTASTIC NEWS!!! Worthy of bold script and capital letters!
  12. another wonderful installment with a pithy comment about future parties: “Knickers firmly on, in future.”

    Chapter 1

A perfect evaluation, and beautifully written, @Talo Segura
  15. Having read this for a second time I am even more impressed with this delightful tale of love growing as a secret garden is restored. The writing style is excellent, there are no off notes in the dialogues. Koa is so like a gay parent of an ex student, always pushing, never happy enough, etc. And lovers of photography will enjoy Blue’s hobby!

    Chapter 1

Giving this a reread and it’s even better. Such a lovely, simple romance. As the garden blossoms so does love. A magical story.

    Hide and Seek

This short story challenged me in a number of ways, firstly geographically. I felt I was back at school learning American states!! Secondly, the D/S aspect put me off a bit at first but then I found reading on a learning experience. Others will have to comment on whether the relationship description is authentic, but it feel good to me. letting go of these difficulties, I was able to focus on the amazing friendship that developed over the weeks of being together between Kiara and Noah. Who wrote it in the SA competition is too tricky for me but congratulations to the author are well deserved. A very enjoyable read. Thank you O Secret One 🤐

  18. Another enjoyable tale from the excellent @Lee Wilson. A perfect example of “seize the day”. The story is well-written with very good characterisation and dialogue. A good addition to Lee’s collection of stories. Excellent!

    Chapter 20

I’ve noticed that to get this kind of reaction there is only one reason…. It’s a well-written, bloody good story… whoops two reasons. Seriously, @Mikiesboy you should be proud of this work, it can’t have been an easy ride for you and has been tough for your readers at times. I await, intrigued, as to how this will finish but I’m sure the story will deserve glowing reviews. un abrazo

    Chapter 18

Her sister was coming but was withdrawn from sale. A “cousin” from Madrid arrives in September to keep her amused, I hope!
  22. Gary L

    Chapter 18

With a 3-month-old savage weinerdog puppy to keep amused and away from destroying the rental cottage!

    Chapter 18

I’ve got better luck 🍀 the story finishes the day before we leave for two weeks in an “abandoned” village in Pyrenees, with 7 inhabitants there is zero coverage 😱
  24. If @centexhairysub doesn’t have a clue (or is it a bluff?!?) then that is a consolation for the likes of me!
