Much of the “labelling”/self-identification found me floundering, with terms I had never heard of before. Nevertheless, I find the ending very good and authentic to their situation. An enjoyable, if challenging, read. Thank you 🙏
My Mancher-born Nan and mum used to say, “Liar’s need long memories”. It scared me so much I never lied until I knew I was gay, and boy did I need a good memory…
Sadly, perhaps, we were up in the mountains trying to escape the heat and missed the sights!! Now you have got me thinking about whether we should have gone to the beach 🏖️
Beautifully put, @Talo Segura. There is some really good emotionally descriptive writing here which is utterly engaging. I felt I was there on the beach. Excellent stuff @Mark Ponyboy Peters. I am really enjoying your stories. Makes me wish I could revisit Australia…..
An enjoyable start to another of @Mark Ponyboy Peters Aussie tales. Summer of 75 I was about to start last year at school, and having travelled to Italy for three weeks on Travel scholarships from my school. Ahead, the horrors of A levels, university applications and the dread that I might be one of those. An interesting time.
and reminiscing over it time for chp 2!
From what others have also said, @kbois is a genius at drawing out the best. You are both wise and brave sending her stuff! I’m part-way through writing a short story but too scared to ask her to look at it!!!!
She is, though, amazingly good in the car. 5 hour journey (with stops) and she slept throughout. Perhaps her horror during Pyrenees thunder storm had left her exhausted, pour thing. Next Saturday we go to Madrid to collect her “sister”. Enjoy the weekend, folks xxxx
Two comments:
1 great things can come in small packages …of chp lengths! I really love this story.
2 This is the most wonderful chp ending, possibly, that I have read in years
Oh my god, man!” this stud muttered in a smoky sexy voice. “You didn’t just lick your lips!”
The plot truly thickens. I hope these guys are not going to be done over by the unscrupulous Hayward. Interesting weeks ahead.
v enjoyable @Robert Hugill, thank you 😊
An Excellent follow up to the drama at lunch, the drama before dinner and the drama on the plane. We can add the drama in the office and the escape to dr Feingold. Good job, Jays…..
