Well this chapter is full of good and bad surprises. It’s great that Mattie & CJ’s dad while not exactly thrilled his sons are gay is accepting of it. I wonder if those photos showed some of them having sex or if it was something like Danny harming himself that had CJ going so pale. Maybe we’ll find out what they contained later if it pertains to the storyline. In my opinion CJ made a big mistake telling Uncle Juan about the audit as even though we had no idea how despicable he is I still would be concerned he’d find some way to foil it if he had enough prior notice. Obviously he either just liked the idea of rubbing it in his face or the alcohol loosened his lips. Hopefully Pete who we’ve heard less about by comparison to his bitch sister isn’t quite as evil and will warn his brothers what the uncle is planning.

Ok, I'm glad Jack's mom is acting more like...a mom which I hope is permanent but a few things confuse me. Jack may just have selective memory yet despite him thinking to himself that Tracy wants friends with benefits Tracy actually told Jack chapters back that he'd happily stop being friends with benefits with him while urging him to date Jeff. Admittedly maybe only a day later they had sex initiated by Tracy as if Tracy never said that so I guess that part doesn't really confuse me as I can see why Jack may have forgotten that little conversation considering the following sex that kinda contradicted it. What I really don't get is Jack shocked me to death in the last chapter when he told Jimmy he was Jeff's boyfriend because he had been making it clear he didn't want one and then now in this chapter he's back to saying he doesn't want a boyfriend. I'm lost as why did he say Jeff was his boyfriend not to mention then act dense when Tracy said Jeff sees Jack as his boyfriend when he supposedly doesn't want to date Jeff? Tracy's statement wasn't even likely based on the fact Jack literally told Jimmy & Jeff that Jeff was his boyfriend as he probably left that out of the retelling of his story as otherwise Tracy probably would have likely said something along the lines of that since he stupidly told Jeff he was his boyfriend it's a little bit late to say he isn't. Yeah Jack, can't you understand that a boy you told was your boyfriend thinks he's your boyfriend? 🤦‍♂️ I'm starting to think multiple characters have brain damage or something considering their memory loss.

Jimmy is apparently a jack of all trades and it looks like Richie's joking comment about Nick cramping his style is starting to become more of a reality. I mean sharing a bed with two guys may seem like the typical gay guy's fantasy yet when one of them is straight with terrible timing & a mischievous streak, meaning he might enjoy his little interruptions, then eh it's not such a fantasy after all. When they get some time off Jimmy & Richie need to go on a date or something in order to have some time when it's just the two of them in order to bond considering they don't get a lot of alone time. Still, Nick is a cool guy plus it's very sweet that despite Jimmy starting to realize the issues is presence could cause he seems in-part to want Nick around so Richie won't be lonely while he's busy at work. Richie found himself a good one.

Is Draco under imperious because it seems a little convenient that Voldemort wants Harry to go dark while Draco is supporting Harry’s constant use of dark magic. The fact the engagement bands were supposed to permanently attach after marriage makes me thinking someone pretending to be Draco would be difficult as even after marriage I assume Harry’s should have reacted if he unknowingly had sex with someone impersonating Draco. Not to mention I’d think someone fooling Harry into believing they were Draco considering how well he knows him would be nearly impossible and obviously I can’t see Draco willingly conspiring with Voldemort.

Harry & Draco thought this Minister of Magic was essentially a pawn for them as they wanted him in office yet he ends up blackmailing them. 🤦🏻‍♂️ I’m not a fan of Draco’s change in attitude regarding Harry’s use of unforgiveables and/or dark arts in general as multiple people including other children of death eaters don’t actually have any positive things to say about them due to how they can warp someone’s personality. Seems like a bad precedent to support Harry’s use of such magic and I liked that Draco was originally strongly against it.

I’m a little bit lost as to how these engagement bracelets work. When Harry was under the influence of the sensitivity enhancing/lust potion given to him by Cho according to Draco he felt Harry’s temporarily lapse in control/lust towards someone else in his bracelet. He also says when he caught Harry in bed with Wood that his bracelet also reacted then as well, which makes some sense as Harry thinking Wood was Draco was initially aroused by him so even though he wasn’t consciously cheating he was still sexually aroused by someone other than his fiancé. What I don’t get is why Harry’s bracelet didn’t react when Draco only didn’t have sex with Ron because Snape interrupted. I mean Harry triggers Draco’s bracelet while under the influence of potions or when tricked yet Draco conscious intent to cheat somehow doesn’t trigger Harry’s bracelet. 🤦🏻‍♂️ Of course it doesn’t seem very realistic that Draco would have even come close to cheating on him with Ron of all people as I don’t even get why he even found himself confiding in Ron when they didn’t/don’t even like each other. 🤷🏻‍♂️ I fully expected to by now have learned Draco was under the influence of a potion or spell considering how irrational he was yet clearly that’s not the case.

This is an unexpected turn of events as I wasn’t anticipating Alex showing up in person but in a way that might be best as they’ve got a lot to talk about. As expected Harry is terrible at hiding his emotions so it’s not likely long before he’s outed but at least his mom won’t mind plus despite their joking statements it doesn’t seem like those girls he’s friends with mind the idea of him being gay. The road ahead is going to be a bumpy one.

Yeah, if @CLJobe hadn’t confirmed that Nick is straight I’d be anticipating some drama ahead and I’d definitely be a little apprehensive if I were in Jimmy’s shoes. He’s apparently more self confident than I am or maybe it’s because he’s never been interested in anyone before that he’s not easily made jealous. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Brand & Charles have been sleeping in the house so I assume that down the road Nick could easily move in there rather than sharing the apartment if it’s starts to put a damper on their relationship. Seems like his presence is kinda forcing them to take things slow or insuring they do as it’s not like they’re likely to have sex with Nick around...though who knows as he’s apparently...open-minded. 😂 Edited now: I logged on hours later and had notifications two readers had quoted me... I haven’t read them yet but I assume someone noticed I used the wrong names as I noticed it as soon as I scrolled down to my own comment. 🤦🏻‍♂️ I’m not going senile yet but sometimes it’s hard to tell when I don’t spot something so obvious before posting it. Good to know...but depressing. You're only as old as you feel and I never want to get to an age where I run out of tricks. They may say tricks are for kids but an old fox always has a few up his sleeves.

This chapter was pretty intense for the characters and for the readers. It was great seeing the bond between these two grow so strong as well as the happiness when my cynical side was thankfully wrong when skinny dipping in the hot tub with Ryan didn't manage to result in any unnecessary drama. You also can't ignore how emotional the talk between Kyle and his dad was as well as the relief you felt on Kyle's behalf when his dad revealed he was actually ok with his son being gay. Ugh why is it though that when something is going well especially this well that you expect the other shoe to drop at any moment.

This is a sweet chapter and it's great to see Jimmy & Richie expressing their feelings while taking things slow. As for Nick, while I agree that he's likely straight I advise that you never make assumptions based on so little information unless you want a tricky author to pull the rug out from under your feet(Ahem, @CLJobe agrees that he ah acts like he's straight.). Just being overly cautious with my assumptions as you know what they say about making assumptions. I mean there's always bisexuality to consider as well as the fact some guys just have a flirty personality so I'll hold off judgement till...I dunno he gets married. Still, in reality every guy you meet is not going to be gay or bi so I suppose there's nothing wrong with having a hetero friend as long as it's not contagious. 😉

Alex was terrified of his mom's reaction but definitely seemed to have underestimated the magnitude of it. For instance, despite his young age he has a career and his mom just pretty much ended it which seems a bit on the extreme side. I mean I thought the fact she could tell people she had a model for a son, something she had previously enjoyed doing, plus potentially pocketing whatever income he made from it would be enough for him to keep working with a different photographer. Deleting his instagram account when he's an influencer is pretty much ending his career if only temporarily as well as likely putting a major setback in it. Harry may end up with the wrong impression that Alex is avoiding him but unless a friend loans Alex their phone or he somehow contacts him over the internet using a school computer I have no idea how Alex will let him know what's going on when he can't even use Christopher as an intermediary. It's great that Harry's mom seems to already know or suspect he's gay as well as to be perfectly ok with it. Almost shocking that a mom who is barely present and apparently often drunk is the one throwing a fit over her son being gay when she never takes any interest in his life...though that's just typical isn't it. The fact Alex told Harry that his mom essentially liked to brag that he's a model is probably reflective of her reaction as she's clearly worried about how this will impact her social standing. Can''t have her uppity friends find out she has a gay son as that's just so lower middle-class.

Nick cracks me up...though now I'm curious how old he is as part of me is suddenly wondering if he was just being humorous. He might have gotten some ideas from being around Charles & Brand especially with of their "showering". It's cute but hard to relate to Jimmy as I can't imagine not knowing your sexuality because you've never had any sexual interest before and not understanding why you suddenly are attracted to someone. It's nice though that while he's confused about being attracted to Richie it's not because he has any sort of homophobia as the fact it's another boy doesn't seem to really faze him at all. I'm sure he'll figure things out as time goes by and if he were to tell this to Richie he would definitely see it as a compliment as how amazing would it be to discover you're the only person that someone finds sexually attractive?

This is a twisting, bumpy, nail-biting journey that'll have you wanting to pop a dramamine, emphasis on the drama, before it's over. What really pulls you in is how relatable and realistic the characters are as you'll find yourself immersed in their lives from the very beginning. I don't want to give any spoilers lest it ruin the enjoyment of reading the story for yourself yet I will say that this story references the dangers of making assumptions. Communication is the true key to a lasting relationship and this story emphasizes that perfectly. This is definitely a must read...in like I dunno an hour because trust me you're not going to stop once you get started. 😉

A very sweet conclusion to a somewhat chaotic journey. Poor Hank seems to be very talented at putting his foot in his mouth but as long as the keep communicating it looks like things will turn out ok. Admittedly I will admit it feels a little unexpectedly & unrealistically rushed for them to jump right back into getting engaged immediately following getting back together. Chase for instance has grown & evolved as a person which is something Hank clearly is going to have to adjust to and it just feels like things should stabilize a bit before making that momentous transition. I mean it's definitely going to throw up some red flags for their therapists I'm sure, but I suppose things will work themselves out. Overall who can hate on a happy ending?

😂 Sweet Angel is loosing his poor mind over his horny imagination but I’m 99.99% sure nothing is going to happen with Randy. I’d say a definite never gonna happen...but eh while it seems like a complete impossibility I don’t like to say anything definite where these guys or @Comicality is concerned as sometimes they make the impossible possible. 🤷🏻‍♂️ His feelings for Tyler are very sweet but oh man he thinks he’s Tyler’s first boyfriend. 😔 I wonder if Randy will unintentionally burst that bubble for him before Tyler gets the chance. Angel has a lot of surprises coming his way, though Tyler has definitely fallen for him as there’s no faking it so hopefully he’ll be able to keep Angel from having a complete mental breakdown or from breaking up with him as you never know how he’ll react from being kept it the dark for this long.

You see people online or on TV presenting themselves as practically perfect in every way yet they aren’t Mary Poppins, though to be fair she wasn’t always as happy as she portrayed herself to be either. At a distance anyone can “seem” to live a perfect life yet you never know the true situation unless you walk a mile in their shoes. Alex managed to get his predictions wrong in one of the worst ways considering the timing, though despite seemingly being upset at least his mom didn’t go postal. I mean she was clearly upset but she might have just been uncomfortable finding her son in a post sexual looking embrace with any gender rather than having an issue with his sexuality. I guess we’ll find out soon enough how she feels about his being in bed with a boy, though something tells me she probably had a few clues already that Alex wasn’t exactly hetero.

Hey hey don’t judge a guy by a messy room. You’d be surprised at how many geniuses and talented people are slobs in private. I like a good messy, quiet, artistic introvert...because I am one. 😂 Overall I like Kyle as well as think they make a good couple so far but Danny is right that the relationship likely will be over sooner rather than later with Kyle about to go off to college. Not exactly loving that Danny had to bring that fact up though I can’t deny he had a point.
