I’m glad that teacher foolishly made that comment in front of a whole class as without proof she’d likely have maybe gotten a slap on the wrist if anything as the word of a student doesn’t often carry as much weight as the word of a teacher. Thankfully the school rumor mill has the story spread far and wide so I’m sure that the parents will insure she doesn’t get off lightly. Earl wasn’t necessarily in the right speaking that way to a teacher though I can’t blame him for being upset especially considering she eventually made it clear she was targeting them because she’s homophobic, which may be something he realized already. I’m glad to see Richie is warming up to his father I suppose but I still can’t get over his physical abuse of Richie so I’m not certain he deserves the warmer feelings Richie seems to be having for him lately. Still, it’s only natural to love ones parents especially when he has fond memories spent with his father from his younger years and perhaps Richard does deserve forgiveness...though that has to be earned over time as one can’t easily put their trust in someone who’s treated them as he has treated Richie.

Chapter 46: "Fox In The Hen House"
NimirRaj commented on Comicality's story chapter in Chapter 46: "Fox In The Hen House"
Some recent comment notifications on this story has me rereading some of it and ugh Ryan just grates on my nerves. I mean I feel there’s more than a 50% chance that he’ll end up fooling around with Sean at some point or at the very least Sean will actually make a move on him when he thinks Ryan will say yes though hopefully he won’t. He can’t be this blind or naive enough to not comprehend that Sean joking that Ryan & Randy should be in an open relationship so that he can satisfy Ryan is definitely crossing the line. I mean I can’t understand how he can’t see why it hurts Randy to hear his boyfriend joking as well as somewhat flirting along with a guy who’s blatantly flirting with him plus his comment about how he has supposedly said something to Sean about the way Sean talks about wanting to have sex with him is a joke as this is one moment he definitely should have said something rather than laughed along. Ryan just comes off as an insensitive boyfriend with a wandering eye which while the latter isn’t exactly a crime it’s liable to lead to more than his eyes wandering especially when he makes angry comments about how he deserves a freebie as maybe some part of him would truly justify his cheating with by calling it retribution/deserved for Randy’s cheating. In the end nothing may happen between Ryan & Sean though I could still see it eventually ruining his relationship with Randy if nothing changes as the seemingly growing distance between them could easily lead to Randy falling for some other guy if he begins to believe Ryan doesn’t love him anymore. 🤦🏻♂️ We need more chapters @Comicality ASAP. -
Uh oh this is not good. Trish obviously plans for Jace’s mom to catch them together or something. Lynette initially was suspicious of Trish and seemed to think she was planning to break them up though now she seems oblivious. Of course Trish is apparently a good little actress and I worry that Jace’s insecurities as well as misplaced jealousy will only help Trish in her goal of breaking them up. Only time will tell how all the puzzle pieces fit together.

I wholeheartedly agree with this and Freddy’s statement about the sperm donor kind of irritated me. I mean on one hand I sort of get what he’s saying and yet while he does say he shouldn’t have hit him I hate the fact he turned around kind of blaming Richie for his dad abusing him. I mean I get Freddy wanting to defend his mother and I also see that Richard has “seemingly” tried to change yet I can’t disregard multiple moments of child abuse by simply saying Richie was pressing his buttons. Plenty of kids annoy or anger their parents without the end result being assault so I can’t see how Freddy could remotely justify Richie being harmed by his own father. I also have to wonder why Richie’s parents were apparently in the midst of a divorce when he met Freddy’s mom as you’d think the aunt would know about it as well as obviously Richie’s mom would so I don’t get the intense hatred directed toward Richard unless their marriage ending was possibly related to him previously cheating. I mean if they were getting a divorce he wasn’t exactly cheating in my mind and Richie’s aunt “seems” well aware of everything going on so I don’t know what to believe. Maybe they were having marriage problems but plenty of cheating spouses seem to enjoy using the line of “My marriage is over, we just haven’t finalized it yet.” to convince someone to have an affair with them so I don’t know if Richie’s memory of his mom & Richard sleeping separately is enough to conclude if the in divorce proceedings line Freddy was told was legit. There’s a lot of murky water.

Ugh Trish just got some good ammunition and Jace’s mom would in a way be thrilled to learn Brody is gay as in her mind she could use this as a way to justify keeping Brody away from her sons. I mean she could claim Brody is molesting the twins or corrupting them in order to justify keeping him away as ridiculous as that is. Of course she could also use the information to try to do the same thing that Trish wants and seek to break Jace & Brody in order to get Brody out of their life as Jace might choose his family over Brody if he feels like he’s losing them. This is just a bad situation.

I’m glad that Richie is getting over his anger towards Freddie though his lust for him doesn’t hurt when it comes to softening the anger 😂 and thankfully unless signals are being misread there’s plenty of clues that Freddie is at least bi if not gay as he seems interested in Richie. Gabe once again sort of irritates me as he seemed to have a girl a.k.a. Teresa so yeah I don’t know if they’re officially dating yet his actions make him seem unfaithful though to be fair at his age most guys as well as plenty of girls aren’t exactly interested in committed relationships so it’s not surprising Sasha would catch his eye. The main thing that irritates me is his whining and abandoning his best friend. I mean first of all in the previous chapter Richie comments to himself that even though Gabe’s going he at least understands that he wants to spend time with his brother only for Gabe to turn around whining in this chapter about Richie & Freddie spending all the time babysitting their brothers while not going on rides with him. That doesn’t make him seem as understanding as Richie thought he’d be and then while I know sort of off script or whatever(not detailed as it’s not from Richie’ s POV) he’s befriended Freddie as well as has likely been spending time with him it still felt extremely rude that he dragged Freddie off ditching Richie just because of some girl. I mean Richie’s thought that it’s because he’s gay seem sort of ridiculous when you recall Gabe, though possibly not seriously, commented that he thought Freddie liked Richie indicating he had suspicions Freddie is gay so if he just wanted a wingman surely Richie would have been able to play the part as it’s not like Richie is obvious or stereotypically gay so I’m sure he could have handled riding the water slide with a girl. 🤦🏻♂️ I may be reading too much into it but it just seems hurtful to Richie that Gabe would drag Freddie along who he hasn’t known for nearly as long and abandon Richie to the tedium of watching after their little brothers when he’s supposed to be Richie’s best friend. I hope Richie tells him how that made him feel as it’s not good to bottle that up inside plus if Gabe is starting to treat Richie like a “convenience friend”, possibly without realizing it, not saying anything would likely only lead to it getting worse as Gabe will be ignorant to what he’s doing as he won’t likely realize he’s treating Richie poorly. I may be greatly overreacting as people can just be insensitive sometimes but I can’t help thinking about how Gabe fluctuates between being ok with Richie being gay and then seems bothered by it sometimes making me concerned that he’s starting to bond more with Freddie because he has no evidence he’s gay so he’s potentially choosing his seemingly hetero friend over his gay friend. Hopefully this is just a case of an insensitive, horny teenage boy who was just temporarily more interested in a girl than anything else with no underlying reasons for his actions.

Chapter 119 Enjoy Me While I'm Here
NimirRaj commented on Dodger's story chapter in Chapter 119 Enjoy Me While I'm Here
🤣 I didn’t necessarily think of Daniel dating Nathan rather with just the description of he’s brought home a girl my silly mind thought 🤔 ok maybe this girl is just Nathan wearing a dress, 😂 though I have to say seeing Don have a heart attack over Daniel being gay as well would be a lovely sight indeed. 😉 Sadly, Sue has always come off as caring somewhat though sadly she just has always seemed to care more about how Don felt as well as possibly how others might perceive her family rather than what Robbie was going through. I have some trouble trusting her judgement myself as she is so flakey and finicky though hopefully her recent disgust with Don as well as his methods will hopefully persist going forward. -
Trish is a real piece of work. It looks as though pretty much everyone was aware of the mutual attraction between Brody & Jace before they were and the fact Trish herself was aware of it yet tried to get between them anyway is twisted. I mean it was made clear Trish realized it early on and then goes on to try to seduce Brody with the hopes it'll cause him to lose interest in Jace though in a way she only sped up the inevitable. I can hardly believe that in the present day she's conspiring to out them in the hopes Brody will go back to her possibly in an attempt to appear straight and I desperately hope it doesn't work as unlikely as it may seem as a person's fears can drive them to do the unexpected. Brody's family is ok with him being gay/bi/whatever but he's not aware of this so I hope he doesn't try to hide the fact he's gay/bi by distancing himself from Jace if rumors were to spread that they're gay due to Trish's manipulations. Hopefully if they get outed his family will by then have made it clear they're ok with it and hopefully Jace's family will be as well as we have yet to know how they'd react. Thinking back on the previous chapter while I assume Lynette doesn't want to cause undue friction between the group when Trish has yet to do anything per say yet considering she suspects that Trish is scheming to break them up I hope she doesn't stay quiet when she shouldn't. I'm not certain that with no hard proof that she should say anything at this exact moment but surely Lynette won't stay silent if Trish starts acting suspiciously as I'd hate to see Lynette's silence help contribute to the drama on the horizon. At least we know that even if they're outed their friends all accept them and while Brody doesn't yet know it his family does as well so thankfully they'll have support of people closest to them though Jace's family is still an unknown variable. I can't wait to see what happens next and I hope Trish gets all she deserves. 😏

Chapter 119 Enjoy Me While I'm Here
NimirRaj commented on Dodger's story chapter in Chapter 119 Enjoy Me While I'm Here
I'm glad Robbie opened up to Nicola and I'm especially glad that not only is she being supportive but for once Sue is also being helpful as I never know what to expect with her. Hopefully Robbie will listen and accept the help that he's being offered. I'm concerned that with Luke apparently gone with Alex somewhere that it means Alex has done something stupid like potentially ran away already though as deranged as he is about his relationship with Robbie I can't see him running off without trying to get Robbie to go with them. On a different note Daniel suddenly bringing a girl home is an unexpected twist not that his eventually finding a girlfriend is unexpected though to be honest if they're dating I kinda consider Daniel an idiot for bringing her home to meet the family. I mean no offense to him but why bring a girlfriend, who I assume he hasn't been dating long as nobody in the family seems to know about her, into that drama? It must be serious if he wants her to meet his wacky family. You honestly never know what to expect with this story so the girl Daniel brought home could be Nathan in drag for all we know. -
This update was a happy surprise. A short but extremely sweet chapter. I can't wait to see where things go from here.

This is going to be long winded but here we go: Reading these comments, theories, etc...on some level I agree with pretty much everyone. I mean my respect for Gabe fluctuates rapidly throughout this story so part of me wouldn't be surprised if the theory that he wants to get Freddie & Richie in a relationship partially because he doesn't want Richie dating Earl was accurate. I mean Gabe did once comment that he thought Freddie was attracted to Richie and he is highly upset with the idea of Richie dating Earl, though I don't know if he'd put that much effort into getting them together just because of his homophobia regarding Earl. In the end I could see him potentially trying to get them together but I could also see it happening naturally as I believe that early on in the story Richie's thought to himself that Freddie was good looking though he refused to think on it much due to who he was. I feel that Richie is distancing himself from Freddie due to feelings he doesn't want to admit but I also feel that he truly dislikes him on some level despite it being unwarranted. I mean he likely feels replaced by his father and based on his thoughts in this chapter he clearly feels that he has been replaced in the eyes of his siblings despite how untrue that is. Then you've got Gabe who's highly insensitive to the whole situation. I mean while he didn't say it outright reading between the lines he seemed to think Richie was being overly dramatic regarding how upset he was with his sperm donor and seems to think Richie should just forgive him as he doesn't really seem to comprehend why Richie is upset with him. Then there's the fact Gabe quickly befriended Freddie without thinking about how RIchie would feel about it as while Richie is being unfair to Freddie and while I think Gabe has every right to befriend him he should have the common sense to realize that Richie wouldn't be happy about Gabe befriending the kid who's mom his dad left his family for as well as the kid he somewhat feels replaced by. Once again I'm not saying Gabe is in the wrong I'm just saying he shouldn't be surprised that it doesn't make Richie jump for joy as in his eyes Gabe has befriended an enemy as ridiculous as that may sound. I can't really wrap my mind around Gabe when it comes to his personality as I don't know if he's homophobic or what. I mean a homophobic person wouldn't typically kiss another guy let alone a gay one and yet his ever changing attitude about Richie being gay irks me. I mean I get his initial distancing himself from Richie after learning he's gay as that's typical considering his age as well as peer pressure and was happy when he came back into Richie's life seemingly supporting him. Then the wreck happened and I found myself really upset at the idea that like everyone else Gabe likely hadn't contacted him because some form of his statement to the police about being gay and/or who he was in the car with likely embarrassed Gabe causing him to once again distance himself from Richie fearing people might think he's gay as well. I mean Richie expected a message or something from someone outside of his family yet nobody seemed to care that he could have died including his best friend which was a painful thing to read. Then this chapter comes along after you may have sort of forgiven Gabe for that when he all of a sudden starts freaking out at the idea of RIchie dating or associating with an effeminate gay guy a.k.a. Earl and was terrified at the idea of being seen in public with the guy. I mean he suspects Freddie is gay and knows Richie is yet spends time with both of them likely because they act more hetero as I mean would he possibly abandon Richie if he were to actually start dating a guy, such as Freddie, as I mean what happens if people Gabe knows were to see the two of them holding hands or kissing in public? Obviously, Richie would then be way too gay to associate with if he's going to be gay in public. 😒 He's just so fickle and comes off as self centered as I often get the vibe Gabe is more concerned about what people think about him than anything else though I have to admit that his eventually giving up on coming up with excuses when Richie mentioned Earl going with them to the movies seemed to imply that he valued Richie's friendship over public opinion...though it also sounded like he expected as well as possibly hoped his girlfriend would object to Earl going getting him out of the situation in the end. I'm glad Richie is going with the group and I think it'll do him good though I understand some of the sentiments about how some of the people seem insensitive to the situation. I mean Richie is being unfair to Freddie but I also get that beyond that he truly wanted to spend some quality time with his little brother only to have multiple people butting in. I mean first you have Gabe who he didn't really mind going with them and yet it's still not exactly the day Richie had been looking forward to. Then all of a sudden Harley is begging to go along and while I couldn't turn down a little kid either you know his presence is 100% going to interfere with the original plan as there's no way Richie is going to get one on one time with Andrew with Harley present as they'll want to do a lot of stuff together. At least now that Freddie is going along hopefully him & Gabe can entertain Harley some so that Richie will get a little more time with his brother. In the end some adult could have stepped in in order to dissuaded Freddie & Harley from going along as they surely knew that Richie wanted to spend time with Andrew alone and Gabe could have also sort of stayed out of it for the same reason as he was surely aware Richie wanted time alone with his brother, though hopefully this will offer up a chance for him to get over his anger towards Freddie. I'm going to cross my fingers hoping for the best though I'm afraid more drama is on the horizon as I just have a feeling that there is going to be more than one type of roller coaster ride before the day is over.

Part of me is wanting to give Richie's dad the benefit of the doubt especially when Richie's own aunt is telling Richie that he shouldn't push his father away despite her hatred of him. I mean people get divorced all the time and while it's wrong affairs aren't uncommon either so on that basis alone I could understand Richard not exactly being the force of ultimate evil Richie sees him as not to mention we all make mistakes in life so I could see giving him a second chance on that. Also while it was insensitive Richie's house was technically Richard's so he had a right to move his new family in there though...yeah his attitude around that as well as following the funeral services were very insensitive giving the vibe he was far from upset over his ex wife's death. I know Richie is concerned his father hates him because he's gay but I'm not even sure that's true as Richie himself said he looked hurt rather than angry at Richie's outburst about being gay in front of the police. Then there's the fact Richie's stuff hadn't been thrown away which I attributed to his dad putting it into storage....for five seconds until I realized it was more likely his aunt & uncle did that. I mean if anyone other than them thought of saving his stuff I'd more likely expect it was his "step-mom" before expecting his dad to have done it as she seems like a nice enough person not that we know much about her. The main thing I can't forget nor forgive is Richard's physical abuse of Richie along with the fact his own wife seemed afraid of him and/or afraid for RIchie at the time making me wonder if this was an isolated incident. You can excuse everything else to some extent but attacking your child is something you can't excuse. Then Freddy also gave the impression he didn't much care for Richard and his comment about having to move a lot since Richard married his mom piqued my interest as I thought Richard worked locally so I'm wondering why they had to move so much as that seems odd. In the end I'm left wondering if he's abusive towards his new family or if it's only Richie who gets that special attention. Overall my thinking is that Richie humiliated him and made him look bad so he's doing all these things to improve his image. I mean who is going to speak ill of a man who's a police officer and who paid for the funeral of his son's friend/boyfriend who he never even met. I mean he likely comes off to the public as being a nice, generous guy. I guess we'll eventually come to see if Richard deserves a second chance.
-
The ending was sweet but very abrupt as well as sort of random. I mean the jump to the future showed that everything worked out in the end yet we missed out on a lot. I know time flies...but that’s ridiculous. 😂 Overall it was an interesting story but a very minuscule one.
-
Eh sounds like a match made in heaven...or hell to me. 😂 Those two are both apparently fixated on Billy albeit in different ways and they deserve each other in my opinion. 🤣 Maybe they’d actually be happy together and Ian could potentially find a cute guy at the party that’s way better for him than Bobby ever was...though the idea of Bobby & jimmy possibly teaming up to cause trouble for Billy is a frightening thought. 🤦🏻♂️
-
Bobby is a first rate idiot and I hope in the near future that Ian realizes he can do much better. I’m sure, like others have alcommented above, that Bobby will likely be at the party and based on his past jealousy as well as paranoia I wouldn’t be surprised if he accused Ian of something ridiculous like having a three way with Billy & Brandon after seeing them arrive together. 🤦🏻♂️ That would seem to match his level of stupidity but either way I doubt his presence will be a positive one. AJ is thankfully highly unlikely to be in attendance...but with Billy’s luck who knows as he could somehow be invited considering how popular Jamie Cross is. One dramatic twist would be if Greg was there trying to get laid yet thankfully that also seems unlikely. I can’t wait to see what happens as I’m expecting an unexpected twist. 😂

Chapter 118 A Long Walk on a Short Pier
NimirRaj commented on Dodger's story chapter in Chapter 118 A Long Walk on a Short Pier
Why am I not surprised that Don has a history of affairs? It fits him perfectly. I wish Robbie would tell someone what Alex did as well as his crazy idea to leave for Florida though sort of get his reason. I’m glad Nicola has found out how depressed and somewhat unstable Robbie is as he needs help. Thankfully with Don currently being absent hopefull Sue will actually get him proper help rather than whatever twisted plan Don would likely come up with to turn this to his advantage. -
Fourth Interlude - For His Son, Disappointment
NimirRaj commented on Jason MH's story chapter in Fourth Interlude - For His Son, Disappointment
It’s sad that Nate seemed as smart as his sperm donor despite his young age and yet Richard still managed to mess him up. Maybe Nate is bi and maybe he’s straight yet we have no idea what would have happened if Richard hadn’t messed with his mind. Of course while he may have managed to convince Nate to not even try to have a romantic relationship with Greg for whatever reason they supposedly did have sex at some point so Richard didn’t completely convince Nate not to try to be more than just 100% platonic friends with Greg. Now, in the following chapter we’ll likely see Nate reviewing his emotions and the impact this event had on him as he tries to discover If some part of him wants to be more than just Greg’s friend though at the same time he may think of what Richard said about Greg leaving him causing him to foolishly believe The Fiend spoke the truth. Richard really messed both of these guys up. -
Ok, Greg’s ending their friendship was over the top and unexpected. Leading up to this point I knew he planned to move out but I wasn’t aware he planned to completely end their friendship. I mean he still planned to live in the neighborhood so I figured not living together would be enough to help him distance himself emotionally as ending their friendship won’t end how he feels about Nate. I’ve always assumed this would likely lead to Greg & Nate ending up together in the end considering what multiple characters have said or implied like Keigan being surprised to hear that Nate is straight as well as seemingly not believing it. The only issue I see with this eventuality is despite the fact Nate has been pretty overly affectionate for a typical straight guy, especially with the on the lips kisses that Greg apparently considers platonic, is the fact that early on in the story Greg revealed that the two of them had sex in the past yet it didn’t lead to anything except confirming Nate was straight. I know that’s there’s more to a relationship than sex but that tiny bit of information seemed to help give credence to the idea that Nate wasn’t say bisexual..until he started doing things like kissing Greg on the lips which made me rethink my opinion. Maybe it’ll turn out he’s Greg-sexual or something though he’d have to have been repressing his feelings as well considering he hasn’t given any indication of wanting a romantic relationship with Greg. I guess we’ll see what happens now that Nate knows the truth.
-
🤔 Is there any chance Greg & Ollie weren’t together when this happened? I doubt it but Ollie loves Greg so much that I’d obviously prefer to look on the bright side hoping something like...I dunno they’d taken a break. Heck they could possibly even have an open relationship as unlikely as that sounds though sadly I’m afraid Greg cheated likely not for the first time. I mean despite Brandon’s positive opinion of him it seems like Greg took advantage of Brandon’s emotional state not to mention his age which to me implies this is likely a habit. Billy is going to possibly sound like a complete slut but he does need to come clean about his past with AJ, Robin, etc... The Sam situation is tricky though as he asked Billy not to tell anyone and he’s Billy’s best friend so I’d have some conflicting emotions warring inside me over that. I’d probably would have told Brandon that Sam didn’t want anyone to know as there’s a tiny chance Brandon might let it slip that he knows the next time he sees Sam and I’d also feel obliged to tell Sam as I think he’d understand why Billy felt the need to tell his boyfriend. Ugh, I know I’m being stupid yet the short pause before Brandon clarified that Stevie was just his friend as well as the even shorter pause before he said the kiss was an innocent one are both mildly annoying as I know @Comicality likely did that to stimulate our paranoid minds. 😝 I don’t think anything is going on between them but man my brain can’t help latching on to those little details. Also, maybe I’m just not as affectionate as some people yet I still find a “friendly” peck on the lips a little weird when it involves a person's ex boyfriend though I’m not the type to just kiss someone else on the lips period in a merely friendly way as I guess I’m not European enough. 😂 Regardless my mind is happy that photo was finally mentioned again as now I won’t feel the need to babble about it anymore whenever the situation with Brandon & Stevie feels suspicious plus I’m sure everyone else will be happy not to read me commenting about it anymore as well. 😉 I can’t wait for the next chapter and I don’t think it takes a genius to guess that Billy will eventually talk to Ollie as he won’t be able to stand the idea of Greg hurting his friend though people sometimes lash out at the messenger in these situations so I worry about the work environment when/if Billy tells Ollie what he knows. Of course part of me also wonders about how the work environment will be when/if Billy tells Brandon about his past with Robin as I doubt Brandon will be thrilled about them working at the same store. Oh well...the drama never ends though wouldn’t it be boring if it did?

I get that Harry is only 14 and isn’t likely ready to settle down yet as he hasn’t fully explored his sexuality, though he has been out longer than Ralph so could have more experience than him, and maybe Ralph isn’t ready to settle for one guy either despite how he feels at the moment as he too is very new to this. I’d be having mixed feelings at this display if I were Ralph as while it’s romantic it’s also puts a bit of pressure on him. I mean just think about how everyone reacted and how public it was as like Ralph said it was a bit of a circus. If Ralph were to for whatever reason reject Harry, as unlikely as that is, most people would likely see him as a jerk after everything Harry did. It’s never fun getting a lesson in growing up but they can be necessary.

Chapter 117 The Happy Clappers
NimirRaj commented on Dodger's story chapter in Chapter 117 The Happy Clappers
This chapter was just shocking and full of blasphemy. I mean, how dare Robbie not like Murder She Wrote?! 😂 On a serious note, Robbie is going off the deep end and Alex seems to be dragging him down deeper. I get Robbie wanting away from Don as well as his current situation though running away with Alex to Florida is not the answer. Thankfull despite his thinking about it he “seems” to realize that going to Florida with Alex is an insane idea. His paranoia about his imminent death was somehat understandable at first to some degree considering the doctors seemed at a loss as to what was/is wrong with him but now it just feels over the top as there’s no remote evidence to support his fears.of course fears are rarely rational so who am I to judge. He definitely needs to talk to someone he can trust about how he feels as well as what he’s been through especially considering his recent experience with rape as that’s not helping his mental state in the least. Clearly Sue can’t get through to him regarding him simply overreacting so hopefully someone else will before he does something stupid as unlikely as that is. Also, while I know he is rightfully afraid of Alex he should tell someone, like Sue, about his plans to run away if only for Luke’s benefit as that’s no life for anyone let alone a kid Luke’s age. If he’s that determined to run there’s not really anything they can do to stop him short of locking him up but maybe they could find Luke a good, stable home. Alex’s confession about his feelings for Robbie as well as his somewhat delusional idea of what exists between them is somewhat understandable while at the same time surprising. I mean while it was short they were lovers in the past, they had a tentative friendship, he confided in Robbie things he’s possibly never told anyone, Robbie has shown obvious attraction to him, etc... so I can understand him becoming emotionally attached to Robbie as well as exaggerating their relationship in his mind due to that attachment. What I can’t comprehend is why when he knew how his dad would react he felt it was necessary to drag Robbie into it. Some cynical part of me is wondering if he did so in the hopes it would convince Robbie to run away with him. Clearly multiple people in this household have issues that deserve professional treatment not that anyone is going to volunteer to attend counseling. -
I didn’t expect that twist as I was anticipating some homophobic incident to occur when it was revealed something bad happened at the parade. I immediately wanted to assume that the kiss was mostly innocent with the guy kissing Harry without permission and yet obviously there is no logical reason that I can think of for Harry being at a store a few doors down from Starbucks if it was innocent as he should have been walking towards them. I don’t think it was some preplanned thing where the bathroom break was a lie so he could sneak off to hookup with someone else but I also don’t think he was an exactly unwilling participant. Life is so hard right now for Ralph and Neil that this couldn’t have happened at a worse time plus Harry was the catalyst for Ralph even coming out so he must be hurting deeply right now. Maybe they’ll work things out and maybe not, though either way the future is going to be bumpy for both brothers.

It’s kind of nice to see a mom who isn’t too lazy or complacent to give the sex talk in this age. I never received the talk and I never questioned if any of my friends did either. With television becoming more explicit and with the internet just becoming big when I was growing up in the 90s we all seemed to be self taught. While it’s embarrassing it’s really just good sense to make sure your kids know all the risks.
-
A very sweet and realistic ending even if the realism about Noah’s mom as well as her family’s treatment/opinion of their relationship is sad. I’m hoping Noah’s mom will eventually come around for his sake but sadly their relationship will never be the same. I can’t say anything was exactly surprising about the ending as the implied/apparent marriage makes sense considering the love between them and Jenn & Aiden ending up together makes sense as well. The only surprise was an insignificant detail about how Noah hadn’t seen his siblings and their children in over a year as you’d think as close as they were they’d have made time to see each other beyond just Christmas, though I get that both he and Jordan were very busy plus he may have been avoid having to interact with his mom. I’m glad it sounds like he’ll be able to see them more now that his mom is grudgingly tolerating Jordan’s presence as well as their relationship.

So true. Everyone has a different perspective on a situation and it’s often clouded by their own desires & biases.
