Thanks for doing this. There are a few stories on the list I haven't read yet, and I few I've read multiple times. I've got @Andrew Todd's Riding Lesson's queued up and ready to go as soon as I finish the book I'm on.

If I were you, I would post twice a week instead of every day. That gives you a few days between chapters to build readership. 12 chapters will go by really fast. Once you're done posting and your story is finished, it will slowly lose its place at the top of the reading list. It's a balance.

Short Term Hold means the author won't likely be posting regularly but expects to be back at it soon, where Long Term Hold means not to expect any new chapters for a while. Abandoned means, it's abandoned. I think it's normal for most stories to see a decline... even though I'm not even sure I would call it a decline, it's just that older chapters almost always have more views, because they've been around longer. Some people will read one chapter and decide if it's for them or not. If it doesn't hook them, they'll move on. Some wait for more chapters before they binge it. I just glanced at the numbers and they look pretty standard, especially for a new author. Is the story finished on your end or are you writing as you go? My advice would be to keep to a regular posting schedule. Readers tend to stick around if they know they won't be left hanging. Gotta earn the trust. Also, I just looked at my stories. I randomly picked one and the first chapter had 9k views and the second chapter at 6k views. It's just how it works.

I actually have 3 chapters to a shifter story I started a few years back. I dread bringing it to the light of day for fear of embarressment. But I think the premise is okay...

This was fun. I didn't realize you ( @Headstall) had such a long ordeal with your shoulder. Yikes. I can say I'm glad you came back because I absolutely loved Sidewinder. I have read it trice. I will say I'm jealous of your ability to write so many genres. I should branch out more... Should. Eh. We'll see.

This story is a hoot. Aaron and Kbois did a bang up job of bringing the GA community together in this game show themed. It is hilarious and so much fun. Best of all, it’s a small sampling of just how amazing GA is.

Saving the world? Sure, ok. LOL But seriously, this series was so fun. You guys did a great job. Each chapter was hilarious and interactive.

This is a great read because I'm sure it's something we all (authors) struggle with. My stories are an investment of my time, my creative energy, personal parts of my life, and so on. So yeah, when people are mean, it sucks. I won't deny it. It's hard to not feel personally attacked since all my stories are personal to me. One thing I've noticed is the comments aren't so much about not liking the writing as how the reader is feeling. It's an emotional response when something isn't going the way they want or a character they love is being hurt. They lash out. Sometimes it's simply a testament to great writing, which will be voiced at the end. And sometimes they really just don't like it.
