Somehow I missed the notification for chapter 10. I'm reading a few stories that get a LOT of comments so I guess it got lost in the shuffle or GA messed up again. Before I comment on the chapter let me digress on something else in the chapter that got me curious. I have cousins that live in Australia , Adelaide and Mt Gambier to be exact (I'm a Yank). My cousin's family came to visit us in the late eighties I was young (really, really young ) Anyway somebody suggest to go a nearby Italian restaurant and have Pizza and all my cousins got really excited about I they only had pizza one one time before. When we got there the Patriarch of the family asked if their pizzas had tomato sauce on it and I thought to myself "Wow they really ARE unfamiliar with pizza". So my question is to you @Mark Ponyboy Peters or any other of our Australian readers was pizza rare in Australia in the eighties. Pretty much a perfect story about two gay men falling in love. I must admit I was so tempted to go to the other site and read there but I like commenting on GA so I restrained myself. In future stories are your characters going to cross paths? If you haven't done so I hope you consider that. For example I would love to see Ian and Shawn hang out with Scott and Jay and then come across the characters in After We Danced. Thank you sir and I'm eagerly awaiting Song For Guy

Well I have to say I'm pleased at what was said at the first meeting of the visitors. The one thing I will say is there should have been a more lengthy coversation between Master Terpin and Mister Mikulsa to avoid preconceptions. Like @centexhairysub mentioned there is still a possibility that there may be a few loose cannons among Bzup kind and that could lead to something I don't want to think about. hundreds of new species we did not know about the year before. That's not only a valid point it's somewhat scary

I hope none of your female readers call you sexist for making Alex a bad bass player. That $150 for her to play that night did you research that because considering it is on a tour with the Black Crows and Blues Travelers that sounds a little cheap. If true though it makes a joke I heard ring true Q: What's the difference between a Pizza and a Musician? A: A Pizza can feed a family of four I going to Digress here a bit. Alex being paid $150 is in Iine with another story I heard. When the band Bachman-Turner-Overdrive recorded Takin Care Of Business it didn't have a piano part in the studio a pizza delivery guy showed up and mistakenly knocked on their door, the wrong door and heard the playback of the song and said to them "That song could use a piano part" they told him he had one take. Turns out the record company wanted that take so they had to call all the pizza places in town to find him and pay him. He ended up getting double scale for it which to me also sounded cheap considering BTO was a major band. They weren't due in San Diego until Monday the twelfth. Kevin and Eric planned on making the best of their time in Vegas. I live in San Diego and I looked online I can't find anything about The Black Crows coming with Deja Vu......You're not lying to us are you?🤔- 31 comments

"Yes. A message from Mikulsa a short while ago, acknowledging our report on Bzup's A-Prime status. He seems to think it was a premature judgment, and that he will be better qualified to appraise the situation than we are." The man offered a gentle laugh. "I had the impression that he was annoyed with us. After hearing that how can one NOT come to the conclusion that Mikulsa is a pompous ass

I really like how this story has started BTW this character isn't based on Ricky Martin is it.......Nah of course not. I rented this little cave. It’s cheap and convenient. There's cheap and convenient in New York City?

It looks like I'm the first comment this time that's good because I'm sure I have missed a lot of things there readers here have noticed. I think when Mikulsa gets here he should be briefed on everything including how Jem seemingly showed Bzup eating and drinking. One thing that HAS to be stressed in Bzup amazing ability to adapt and add and subtract parts to himself the point being is if Mikulsa shows any kind of hostility Bzup might know how to do something to physically protect himself. "Wunnderful!" Anybody notice Bzup says wonderful the same way Lawrence Welk did?(For those of you who remember Lawrence Welk)

Oh I didn't know that .Here's wishing for many, many more @kbois

Diego was pleased to see Ashley's face turn an angry red. Oh so the human smoke stack is angry about the revelations about Calvin eh? Even she has to know she was using Calvin as much as he was using her. Does she really think there is honor among scum? Bryan blushed and grinned. He then said, “You sure you're straight?” “Yeah, 100% after that.” “I don't know, man. We might have to do it again, just to be sure...you know...for science....” James laughed and said, “Fine. For science.” He leaned in again and this time, they kissed much more passionately. Maybe James should consider he's bi or perhaps pan instead of straight. I'm guessing it was Steve who opened the door (Although I suppose it could be Caleb) IF it is Steve do you think he will advise Bryan to tell Kenny about this? Unless there really was valid feelings in that kiss I don't feel that's necessary but if anybody disagrees with that I respect that. So the neighbor who's camera recorded what Calvin did his name was John McVie?.....Did he retire from Fleetwood Mac?....Give me a head start before you throw stuff at me

Whoa Kaanan is wise to something only he doesn't know the details yet. It would be interesting know more about the back story of Ahmet. This doesn't sound like a typical employer/employee dynamic even in this seedy situation it sounds a lot like Kanaan owns Ahmet also. BTW @kbois In REAL comments ( @Mikiesboy comment doesn't count)

IMO the most likely reason Bzup and able to adapt the way it has is for survival and self defense purposes. What if another one of those aliens came aboard and Bzup wanted to mate with it.Would he say" Jem,Nico go" In spite of all of this fascinating developments I can think of only one thing...If they put a slice of cheese on their Siffle burger do they call it a cheeseburger like we do or do they say Siffle burger with cheese?🤔

After finding out Kevin is OK it was a pretty calm chapter until I read "Back to Normal, For a While" Now what? I will say I'm surprised for the most part the band took Kevin leaving the stage pretty calmly

She? Is Nico sure about the gender?

This was going to be a perfect day, I thought. And nothing was going to stop that from happening. I agree with @Petey That has a famous last word vibe to it. Scott give Sally at least a few day off so she won't walk in again oh and invest in one of those signs with a clock on it saying "will return at....."

The interactions with Bzup and the crew are more encouraging than discouraging. One thing to consider maybe the aliens that Bzup came with don't treat him well and Bzup notices the difference in treatment.Just a thought but there is still a lot to learn Nita's pad emitted a soft chiming sound, followed immediately by the voice of Master Terpin. "Our friend has just released a considerable blast of sound into the sea." Nita touched something on the pad's screen, and they immediately heard one of Bzup's strange songs. "Calling for a ride, maybe?" Nita wondered It was speculated that maybe Bzup sent a message somewhere or maybe it something more simple. The" considerable blast of sound into the sea" Master Terpin referred to could be nothing more than a burp or fart and Bzup was being polite. But @Geron Kees wouldn't do something that crude would he?🤔

As sure as you were about the laptop (Sorry couldn't resist)

They have to consider what can Bzup (I'm calling it by a name now) can do out of that container that he can't do inside of it. They can still keep Bzup in the confines of the room I guess.
