Very intense chapter as @CincyKris pointed out. @drpaladin made a great point about the condition Burke and Calhoun are in would Martina try to off them? I can picture Micco arriving just as that is happening and one of the animals stops Martina. “I’m not losing you again,” To me Chase saying that was the most significant line in the chapter. Attribute this to my warped mind. We almost make it. In fact, I judge we’re less than a hundred yards from the parking lot of the refuge when Chase slams on the brakes and the car skids sideways. “Fuck,” he says, glaring at the huge oak tree that appears suddenly out of the rain and gloom. It’s uprooted at the base and stretched across the road. After reading that I though of the Lynyrd Skynyrd song That Smell and the lyric "Oak tree you're in my way"Well in this case the oak tree was in their way

Munchkins and Monkeys, Zach's Troubles
weinerdog commented on Lee Wilson's story chapter in Munchkins and Monkeys, Zach's Troubles
Is what happen to Zach a product of your fertile creatively or have you read similar accounts of these types of incidents? Not that I doubt that it happens that way. In prison even the lowest of the low think people like Zack and Jackson are the very worst scum. I was going to suggest to Dylan to see if there were a class he could attend " How Not To Date Or Marry A Psychopath. "(Although to be fair Lacey had a tumor)But it looks like maybe have gotten lucky in finding Colton. Colton having a son of his own around Dom's age is a good sign this may be OK- 18 comments

I was momentarily confused but apparently you changed your user name.I hope you are feeling better. Alzheimer's was mentioned I don't know all the rules of shifters but I guess they are subject to the same medical condition humans are. It makes me wonder can say a dog have Alzheimers that is something I'm going to Google

Another thing we learned unless I forgotten is that like Alec's mom River's Mom was somewhat extreme when it came to religion makes me wonder if the two moms were part of the same church and were they besties
-
I like the start of this. I'm not certain of the time line this takes place are they in Washington? Alec is around so if they are in Washington this takes place before Alec reconnects with Finn.Am I right?

I'm just about to start this I'm guessing from the synopsis this is the River from I Hate This Town.I'm really looking forward to this

Getting Closer, and Football
weinerdog commented on Lee Wilson's story chapter in Getting Closer, and Football
Y You can also comment about Beth's offensive game plan involving a lot of passes aim at Roger and Roger has to counter with a defensive scheme -
I was confused for a moment when Harry said "What has become of me?" it sounded like the story was ending but I didn't se a The End so I guess we are still going. @Lee Wilson was right about an unexpected turn of events. What this has is a little of what is called being Pan not in love with the gender but the person. But yeah how can this NOT get messy. The subject of adoption came up so I still think a day will come when Harry finds out he has a 10 year old son or possibly from one of these three women at the moment

The Audition, and Blowback
weinerdog commented on Lee Wilson's story chapter in The Audition, and Blowback
Dominic is a really smart kid he was helped by the fact that Dylan told him to let him know if Jackson asked him to do something unrelated to the plays he was able to put two and two together. While I'm so glad Zach got caught but this got my attention Two hours later, Zach Washington pulled up to his house, where the police were waiting. Why didn't the doofus continue driving on when he saw cops were there? Unless it was detectives in a plain car . So will it ever be revealed what Jackson and Zach's end game was in regards to Dylan? -
Where did you get that picture of @kbois? (I've done it now huh?)

As far as Bryan not wanting to be in the Latin Student Union because he's white there are a lot of people who can pass for white who are part latino I half a friend who looks like Archie Andrews from the Archie comics who is part Mexican and I bet many people don't know this the famous baseball player Ted Williams is half Mexican The statement that Caleb didn't look like either parent made me wonder if he has a different father especially after all this talk in this chapter about being biologically related

Harry seemed to have no idea how he was using Laurie. Yelling Stuart's name and those dreams he's having should be telling him something. Can't wait for the MRI discussion. I'm going to make a guess .Laurie is pregnant with thier child

I thought of this Danny is too wrapped in his own angst to sense our shock. “But then, Jesus fucking Christ, then it ran. It got down on all fours and fucking loped through the gate. Like an animal.” He turns watery eyes on me. “What does that? What fucking does that?”s So that tells me it's something a human can't do and if that's the case nobody played a part. So that leaves two possible explanations one that this creature actually does exist (BTW why didn't they tell Billie about this?) or and this is a little nutty it was an illusion using some kind of technology sort of like a real life version of CGI a hologram or something .Hey best I can come up with. BTW congrats @Summerabbacat

I looked it up and there was a few documented cases of that but they stressed only a few. There is also something called Anton-Babinski syndrome where a blind person claims they can see if that can happen I guess anything is possible

Other readers in this chapter comments are saying what I posted in chapter one. Can a bump on your head really make you insensitive of what is wrong and right? I going to to look this up online. I find this interesting

I can understand losing your memory but I don't get the change in orientation I liken it to before you hit your head you weren't a racist but afterward you are a racist? I would think your basic character wouldn't change. I would love to hear the explanation for that

I was going to post saying I hope he is OK but your comment cleared that up . Thanks for telling us ❤️

Cory's Christmas Present, and Happy New Year
weinerdog commented on Lee Wilson's story chapter in Cory's Christmas Present, and Happy New Year
1. I only mentioned Mahomes because he's pretty much THE guy in the NFL although I would get why some people can't stand him. 2.I don't know if your were being facetious or not but if you don't know what Sabermetrics are formulas for stat geeks to use to judge players. Most team employ guys like that. The movie Moneyball deals with that.As far as I know it is only baseball uses that but I suppose ther could be a football or basketball version of it. 3.Thanks for the tip about the story on Nifty -
Cory's Christmas Present, and Happy New Year
weinerdog commented on Lee Wilson's story chapter in Cory's Christmas Present, and Happy New Year
Not just a nice ending a realistic one also long distance relationships are very tough. A few things you could have put in although it may have made the story a little longer. One is it looks like Roy didn't find anybody else( yet )being an NFL player makes that even more complicated. Had you had the story go longer you could have had him meet Patrick Mahomes. As far as Cory goes since he likes baseball you could have had him be a sabermetric guy. Roy and Cory are brother-in-laws so they would still cross paths.Who's to say there isn't a story where they connect again? Unfortunately that would involve Cory getting divorced or something tragic happening to his husband. Very good story Thank you sir -
Judging by the way Ross was acting it looks like he has the same thoughts Adam expressed in his diary

The Decision, and the Trip
weinerdog commented on Lee Wilson's story chapter in The Decision, and the Trip
I was wondering the same thing what is their motivation? I know they said they made money off of selling images of naked little boys and as horrible as that is there has to be something else with this stuff of them scheming to have sex with Dylan. I like to try to guess along with stories and somethings I am even right but this pretty much was the last thing I expected. So I going to think twisted like you.How about this? Lacey's sister the one we saw at the funeral is also in on this scheme or perhaps even Lacey herself before she died. -
I bet he doesn't get through to many must be frustrating

I have heard dogs that come close to making the sounds that is like a phrase one dog of a friend of mine made a sound that came close ti "I love You".And in another case another dog of a friend made a sound that was similar to "I want it" so what you say? Well the dog was making that sound while my friend was holding up a treat. It's obvious what breed of Dog I like but Labs are awesome also. My dad was Army, and his dad was Air Farce (nobody’s perfect). Was that a typo or intentional?😄 My step dad was in the Navy and he always cut down Marines

More Normal, and the Holidays
weinerdog commented on Lee Wilson's story chapter in More Normal, and the Holidays
I'm sure most of us readers at least in the back of our minds know what Cory's Christmas present or is it get your mind out of the gutter? Cory did do a good big brother thing. It was a surprise he thought of ending it.I bet more kids then we reaizie have that thought even if it's only for a moment. Good gesture by the coach toward Cory.Is the story going to follow them into the next season? -
The Outcome, and Getting Away
weinerdog commented on Lee Wilson's story chapter in The Outcome, and Getting Away
In the Monday section of the chapter you wrote During my appointment with Dr. Ansler, I dumped a boatload of emotional baggage. In the rest of the chapter it was Dr. Aslers but it wasn't your fault.Whose was it?🤔 Oh yeah @kbois your editor. Im going to be hiding out now after she see's this😄. Seriously she's an excellent editor (But I'm still going to be hiding out)- 20 comments
