I'm going to mark this date I got one right.If you look at my previous chapter comment I mentioned the possibility that Michele was going to be with that girl (whose name we don't know yet) he was seen with coming out of school with. I sometimes get things partially right but this one is almost 100% 😲.Since I'm on a roll (one in a row) I'm going to try another one. Hearing Enzo's backstory certainly puts a different perspective on things.I'm surprised none of the comments before me thought of this. Remember in a earlier chapter Enzo and his flunky tried to take Dani's money? You'll notice that the other flunky Antonio I think his name was wasn't there he was the one who tried to do some sex stuff with Michele a few years back. Did Enzo figure him out? And did Antonio meet with some kind of demise? Caused by Enzo? something to consider. Another thing to ponder is will Toto find out about Enzo backstory? If he does I can picture him trying to befriend and help Enzo.Could I actually be right two chapter in a row🤔 probably not but I think that would be interesting One thing I and nobody else have to predict though is on Wednesday at the beach Gianni ,Angelo and Claudia are going to just love Dani.

My first reaction to Michele saying he has to meet someone is that it's a girl.Who you ask? I'm thinking about that girl Michele was with when school let out that last day. Michele might be trying hard to be straight . Like I said first reaction so it's probably wrong. I have a good first impression of Dani

Out of all the possible reaction Blake might have after Seth kissed him this was most unexpected since Blake went from“Why are you sorry?” He pressed his hand to his lips. “I liked it. to “I’m just not the kind of guy you want to get involved with.” That is a complete 180 in a matter of seconds .We got a little bit of a clue from Amber when Seth met her at the mall when she said Blake had been running away from his parents house for weeks at a time I remember this exchange between Blake and his biological units in chapter two. “What do you mean, it’s not your fault?” shouted the man. “The goddamn police brought you here. And you tell us you’re sorry?” I looked over at Stacy as she raised an eyebrow and mouthed, “Police?” “We’ve had it with you, Blake,” warned the man. “We told you the last time you got in trouble, there would be consequences.” The boy began to cry. “I’m sorry, Dad,” he sobbed. “I didn’t do anything.” The woman spoke angrily, “It’s always the same, Blake. God only knows what you were doing. Well, this time we’ve had enough.” They said this after Blake was close to dying of pneumonia.OMG they are absolute worst.Still I think there is more to be revealed like perhaps Blake had a bad time at his other school and wants to be under the radar at Seth's school.That would explain his reaction .I speculated in a earlier chapter he might know Cindy from the other school .Maybe thats one place he goes to when he runs away. “Listen, Fag,” he warned. “I’m the only one you mess with.” He tightened his grip around my neck. “Got it? If I ever see you with another guy, I’m going to hurt you.” He pushed me back, and I landed on the bed. I think it's now safe to say Craig has now escalated this to an abusive relationship. And one more parting shot about Stacy But Roni?” asked Stacy. “You couldn’t ask a normal girl?” “She is normal!” I shouted. “Just because she likes girls doesn’t make her a freak or something.” “It does too!” yelled Stacy. “Jesus, Seth. What were you thinking?” Geez what f---ed up people we have here

I too like @travlbug was intrigued by mention of the "younger blond boy" he wasn't mentioned in the previous story so I guess there has to be a reason he was mentioned here. In all my years (I won't say how many) I never came across the name Davide I went to YouTube to hear how it is pronounced

It's a very good sign that Pete is not even having a beer with his lunch and I bet he feels better also.I also think he knows the score between Michael and Eric even if Maggie doesn't. So Eric correctly points out “There are places you want to go and things you want to see." even a ditz like me can tell that.As to what Eric has planned I have no clue so it will be interesting to see where they are going. I'm guessing it will be based on something Micheal said during their conversations

Wow you packed in a lot of stuff in this chapter the Christmas celebrations and Richie getting married among other things. It was an awesome move to have Tommy.Ronnie and Ivan the other 3 of the 4 original boys to be ushers at the wedding. Armand wonders why GG hasn't showed herself to David yet and comforted him.GG will know the right time I'm sure. I'm thinking she will have David's Mother with her if and when she does appear

I'm really happy to hear that but even if you Haden't don't that I am really looking forward to continuing on in this series. You did it again out of all the things I imagined hanging onto a shrub for dear life wasn't one of them.While I don't like Antonio I fear for his well being if Enzo ever found out about him

In the Firefly story the interactions they had with Gianni and Angelo were mostly done by Toto while Michele was pretty much in the background.You observations about Michele in your comment was spot on

To those who have not read this yet this is not meant to be a spoiler (Haven't read it myself yet) but based on how the Toto story ended with Michele in bad shape I'm thinking Enzo asked Michele to physically hurt Toto a line Michele would not cross and of course he paid a price for it ( I hope in one of the future stories in this series Enzo gets his.)

Well I see one huge difference. In what is a very difficult time for both boys Toto had Gianni,Angelo and Claudia while Michele had who.........ENZO!!!????? can't like those odds

After reading chap.1-2 I took a few hours break before reading 3-4 so I didn't binge read like you mentioned the the chap 1 comments. Marina imparted wisdom that only comes from life experiences a brilliant idea by Gianni. Now on to Michele story....after taking a break of course.

So how does Father Stefano know about Toto's situation? One possibility is Gianni told him.Not out of the question despite how Gianni feels about religion he remembers when The Father spoke to him and maybe though it could be a good thing for him to speak to Toto. More likely is Father spoke to Michele which is why he would say “I have a feeling that…he may need you more than you know". I see that Toto hasn't gone to school so it must be summer time. In Ravello do gay teen boys only get outed during the summer🤔...yeah I know lame joke

Oh there is no doubt about the surprise seeing how so far I guessed a lot of it (Sorry @raven1 as soon as Angelo mentioned arranging some company for Toto I knew Claudia would show up) Like the other readers I hope Michele didn't spill the beans about the kiss to Enzo and his meatheads but thinking about why would he? I don't think he would want THEM to now what happened. So I think it's what @travlbug thinks Salvatore might have passed this on to one of his friends who went home and talked about it and either Enzo or one of the meathead overheard. Speaking of Claudia when she said "Boys are idiots.” ....🤔 can't argue with that

It's probably because I just finished reading Firefly but I do remember Toto. When I first saw the title I thought of the scene in Firefly where Toto tells Gianni he's not allowed to see him and then I thought uh-oh. Good move on finding a way to tell us about Gianni and Angelo without a sequel. @raven1 said the towns "social milieu" hasn't changed but perhaps that's only Salvatore I guess we'll see if the rest of the town will be like they were with Gianni

I believe in numbers of words this is the second longest story on GA (as far as I know) to read this in three and a half days is quite impressive. I'm sadden to hear what you went through. If you do write your version there is no doubt it will be as incredible as this story is

The one thing about this list that impressed me is the diversity of the artists on this list . I mean how many times do you see Pink Floyd and Don Henley on the same list? (I love both BTW) I know some of the songs but others I don't so it's on to YouTube I guess (after reading a few chapters of James next story of course)

What you say there is true more often then not but I can think of a couple of exceptions.An author on GA who if I'm not mistaken I think I seen you react to a chapter he wrote recently @Ronyx wrote sequels to two of his stories something he says he doesn't like to do in both of those cases the sequels was better then the original great stories. Speaking of great stories now it's time to comment on yours . I already know it's somewhere in my top ten the problem is which incredible story would I have to remove to put yours in. One question that came up as a result this chapter is what was Nonna thinking when she changed her mind about Gianni staying? Father Stefano was part of the search party I wonder if it was something he said to her.As @travlbug said I don't think Angelo would tell anybody of Gianni suicide attempt but I bet it crossed Nonna's mind. I take my faith seriously like Nonna does but she's closer to almost being extreme about. So thinking from a perspective of a person who is devout I wonder Nonna saw this as Jesus saying " You screwed up with your daughter and almost screwed up again with your Grandson you're getting another chance NOT to screw up" Well on to your other stories now which I will read in order because that's what you suggested. Usually I have a pretty good idea how a story on GA will end I don't get it 100% right but I get the gist. In this story it can go so many plausible ways and I bet all the readers who read this wasn't sure what would happen. A sign go masterful writing. One thing I noticed there has been no mention of anybody having a cell phone ( unless I missed it) You said you wrote this in 2008 is the story set in that time? If it is then how come nobody has a phone?Perhaps their small town can't get access to service. The main reason I ask this is if it's set in a slightly earlier time that could explain the town reaction to Gianni or perhaps it's nothing more then a small town mentality

Pretty much concur with what every one has said. One glass of champagne and one glass of wine? I guess when you're 14,15 and haven't drank alcohol a lot and he's pretty thin to begin with I suppose it can cloud your judgement

@raven1 pretty much said what I was thinking.You did an incredible job of portraying the somberness and grief of the occasion. Angelo stated that he didn't cry in front of Claudia and the family. Being able to cry with Gianni says a lot

I wonder if at the beach Angelo would have done the sand thing if Gianni had opted for the speedos

Is it possible in this day and age that two teen boys Gianni and Angelo's age haven't thought mucho about sex and what their likes are? In Giannis case had only a few close friends and was only casually friends with others while Angelo is in a very small town with only a few kids his age who he doesn't interact with. So did it really take them two to start hanging around to awaken these feeling?Or have I missed something?
