Out of the many twists I was trying to think of one wasn't that one of Asher's relatives is responsible for Elias dying.To me this begs the question did something supernatural or paranormal (or whatever term you want to use )responsible for Asher being the at stone and finding the ring in the first place? I don't believe this just happened by chance. Asher seems to think he will never see Elias again but I think he will in some way. I'm still thinking he'll come across someone who's the spitting image of Elias but this could go so many ways

When you read a story by this author he always deals in issues relevant to teenagers gay or otherwise ranging from basic difficulties in coming out(Apple Of Her Eye) ,Homeless gay teens due to religious extremists(Stuff People Do) to even the dangers of teens sexting onlineI(It's Not Easy Being A Tree) There isn't an issue which this author hasn't written about well. In this story the issue of racism are dealt with and are more relevant then ever due to very recent events . This is done from the perspective of high school students and deals with all the factors that contribute to this issue such a corrupt and racist police and school officials ,parents and even some of the student themselves. This author gives the same careful thought and treatment he usually does in his stories but in this one he has a more qualified take to give due to his personal situation and experiences. Read this story and don't be surprised if you come away with thoughts you haven't considered before

WOW!!! I have so many thoughts I'll probably be disjointed but bear with me. When pastor Moore revealed Nettleman refused to meet, and he told him that it wasn’t his job solve a situation that had existed for decades. My first reaction was OH so do nothing huh? He's even a bigger jackass then we imagined .Its not surprising he didn't have the guts to face the people at the meeting. There were some great touches at the memorial service especially the basketball players showing up together in their uniforms and sitting next to each other there have been similar events like this in the past but the question asked is so valid "What about tomorrow?" I love that Parker, Darius and Peter will be living together during college they will be bonded for life along with Natalie. Geez Peter is going to MIT? Parker is the lightweight intellectually among the three. Ron comment about writing a sequel is very valid and we can assume the guys will go on and have a good life .As far as message in the story I have a thought where the message can be expanded with another story.As far as we can tell Dan will go on and be a bitter racist. But what about a story not a sequel but a story about Dan and his life hitting rock bottom and him having to think about his racism and where it's gotten him? Dan is not gay but maybe in this story of redemption he can befriend and support a gay person he's met and is being persecuted . I'm sure there have been stories written about this but do we really know of any real life examples of a high profile racist who went on and changed their ways? I don't know of any myself. Just a thought of a possible story One last question for the author its on the personal side so if he doesn't want to answer it I understand.Are any of the interactions between Parker and Darius in this story based on Tony and yourself? You know how us readers like to guess what's about to happenessed (although I know no one like that) I think you could have had perhaps up to a 1,000,000 readers read this epilog and and perhaps the number of readers who would have guessed this you could count on one hand if that. I thought the bad guys in @kbois were the most evil after reading this we might have to rethink that. I'm going to be all over the place with my thoughts so I hope I'm coherent.Please have them find out who the traffickers are and also at the same time have them find out what kind of dirt they had on the prosecutor and other people to get them to go along with it. It will also be interesting to find out why the parents left a week early my guess is they feared for their lives I'm sure since the traffickers didn't get Loren that they were after the parents hide I wonder what they had to do to stay one step ahead. When Loren does the podcast will Lars join him? I could see this being too much for him. I would be cool if they found out Cody is alive but sadly realistically that isn't likely I'll end on a lighter note I was looking for a gif that had two little girls dressed as Alan Grant and Ellie Sattler alas I couldn't anything but I would not be surprised if someone does . I wonder how the guys got one of the girls to look like Alan Grant🤔. I normally don't like the idea of a beautiful breed like a golden retriever dressed as a tarantula but It would be interesting to see how they did that. Emotionally exhausting but very well done

Absolutely right the World does need to stuff like Armand painting .I compare to when the the U.S. was at war with Iraq we kept hearing the words collateral damage but they never showed the images of children being hurt by collateral damage if they had maybe some people wouldn't have been so gung to support going to war. Imagine trying to paint that now you get an idea about Armands emotions about his painting
