This chapter had the feel of a story winding down but it the back of my mind I can't help but think The McKinneys are plotting another move🤞

I bet Pete already knows something is up between Mike and Eric. So if I understand things right Eric will eventually move on to wherever and Mike would have to stay in town to take care of Pete so that itself means this is no long term thing .I wonder what plan Ed has for Mike or was it all BS?

It was a tough call to give this chapter a love or a tear.The very idea a little boy could be that kind of condition. Although I left A sad reaction I did smile that David now has the very best people caring for him.

One way I see that happening is one day Ross is over to visit and Adam gets called away and while Ross is waiting in his bedroom he comes across Adam's diary and ....well you can guess the rest

I continue to be amazed how you keep writing quality chapters on three stories going simultaneously and they keep exceeding my already high expectations. Nathan saying Jackson had two brain cells was being far too generous I would have said I never seen a dumber MF'er but that isn't true his two flunky goons that follow him where ever he goes like Jackson is their leader well that makes them even dumber.Truly a frightening thought. ‘When you feel a little empty in the soul, try a little Jesus in your hole.’ Have to admit That was a line I didn't see coming. I'm sure most of us readers saw this happening. Please don't mistake what I'm about to write as any kind of defense of Craig he's a predatory POS but as we read Seth's thoughts a big part of him wanted this to happen as he's been crushing on him since 7th grade.Also take the fact he was staring at his naked body in the hospital had an erection and licked his lips before this happened even a non A-hole that wasn't Craig would have come to the same conclusion.I will say that in Craig's twisted way of thinking he probably thinks he did Seth a favor. I think it's obvious what Craig wants next and that one Seth may not be ready for and in this case Craig would have to use force and no doubt will .Seth on his own wouldn't be able to stop this from happening. I can see only one way out of this.It was revealed that Roni is Craig's cousin.Before Roni got careless in the movie theater nobody knew about her which means Craig kept her secret do you think Craig did this because he cares for his cousin?......yeah don't think so I think he was saying nothing because Roni knows a secret about him .So what I'm hoping is Seth tells Roni what is going on and what he's afraid of and Roni finds a way to intercede. So far Ronyx has everything connecting like the first person to find out about Seth being gay was his sister's BF and then this lesbian Craig said he would set Seth up with is his cousin(funny how that happened anyway without Craig).So I'm going to make a prediction (take it with a grain of salt I'm right about 25 to 30percent of the time) At the end of the chapter Seth sees Blake.Seth hasn't mentioned seeing Blake at his school so he probably goes to another school.We met Cindy this chapter(I like her BTW) who does go to another school so I'm saying she and Blake know each other.🤞

Well this was a pleasant surprise glad you found this story to post. One thing that stood out for me is how Micheal and Pete haven't really spoken much since the John Criley incident. Aftehearing that Pete was speaking highly about Mike to Eric perhaps Mike a has misread the situation between him and his Grandfather. I'm curious if Pete could sense Eric is gay and thus the speaking highly about Mike. There was no mention of when this story takes place so I'm guessing Pete was a veteran of both Iraq wars. “Mmm. His hair’s kind of long. Curly. And he dresses in hippie clothes, like those sprout-eating wackjobs out west. You know, in Oregon.” I live in California and heard that said about Californians but I suppose it applies to Oregon also😄

I'm proud of Ronnie he learned well from his dads. Wow David was in severe shape I hope the Doctor doesn't find more things. As mentioned above I didn't know Ronnie was out of school.Was he good enough to be drafted by the NFL

Something Josh said in this chapter got me thinking . “I’m sorry I lied to you.” I quickly rambled as I cried softly. “No, don’t,” Josh said as he held me tighter. “You don’t have to apologize for anything Ben. I get it, dude, trust me I do.” I went back to chapter one where all Josh said about his father was that he died when he was young very vague. Was his father an abuser?Did he abuse both Josh Mom and Josh? And in chapter two Ben had this exchange with Dylan I gave a small smile, “you don’t know the half of it man. And the answer to your question is a long one. So maybe one day at the right time and place I can answer it.” He returned my small smile, “I understand dude. Don’t be a stranger though. Me, my brother, even Josh, hell especially Josh knows about having a long answer to certain questions. That implies they all had their own stuff themselves.The fact that Gus hired both Josh and Anthony and that he told Ben to tell Josh about himself(not because I mentioned that in the chap 3 comments 😄) that tells me Gus goes out of his way to hire people with that kind of background

I foresee Andre getting more seriously hurt and if that happens everybody around Rafe will see to what extent Rafe cares about Andre it would be sort of like being outed .Rafe himself may not realize it yet

I hope @Ivor Slipper take is close to how things will happen but I'm worried as hell about the building and the part of town he's in . I think it's closer to what @J.El take is. I'm worried that one of the residents in the building is a perv and sees Ben obviously young as some sort of prey. One part of Ben that hasn't been explored yet is he type of personality given what's happen to him that will not take any crap? I imagine he is so I see some altercation happening with God knows what results will come from it . I sure hope I'm wrong. From what we have seen of how Josh and his Mom interact they are very close and Josh's Mom will figure out something is on his mind.So Josh has a tough call which is respect Ben's privacy or tell his Mom what's up. You did a great job of describing Ben's emotions and I know all the readers could feel it. One thing for sure I'm glad Ben is taking this part of his journey with Gus,Gavin and especially Josh in his corner

I never saw episodes of that on TV but I remember those were used to show us in history class during middle school I remember liking them and I guess since the school showed them they were pretty accurate

I bet this is the only story that exists where a character made a backpack out of bearskin designed to blend in when somebody transform into a bear very creative. I was thinking of saying I challenge anybody to find something like that in another story but if I did it wouldn't surprise if some reader here knew of a story where the happened. While Devin's Grandpas are incredibly smart resourceful people there is something Mac said “Damn, it’s almost as if they had a crystal ball.” That got me thinking while Grandpa Issac smartly didn't trust banks he also avoided losing anything in the Great Depression it was as if he knew that was coming also they seemed to hit 100% on the investments in the 50's and later 80's even the best investors made a bad investment here and there.So that makes me wonder did the Shaman somehow leave some kind of ability in Grandpa Issac where he had a sixth sense about these things🤔

Wow you just keep outdoing yourself. I couldn’t help feeling jealous of people on the street that early afternoon. People seemed to move through the area without a care in the world. Living life, being normal, worrying about the little things such as a bill, or what to cook for dinner, or if so and so really wanted someone else to attend some party. They didn’t know how good they had it I totally see why Ben would feel like that but as he gets older he will come to understand everybody has their own shit. Having said that though Ben has gone through stuff I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. Here's what I hope happens I guess he's going to have to tell Gus his change of address and when he does I hope Gus suggests to Ben to open up to Josh then that could could lead to Ben possibly staying at Josh place.

I'm not positive but I think one of the smart readers here already mentioned this possibility but all the talk Trevor had with Aidan about security got me thinking could the McKinney's have a plant on the security staff? The place they went to being so isolated I wasn't sure if it would be a good place or bad place for them to try something but thankfully Ranger Rick and his staff were made aware of what's up so that made me feel better. I'm sure this was covered in previous stories but when they were speaking of there superior vision in the dark It made me wonder when they are in their wolf form are they color blind like dogs are? I know I'm showing my ignorance here. As @scrubber6620 mentioned it is certainly looking like Randy will choose to turn.So there's a blue moon on Halloween🤔 Do I see a special Halloween story in the future? I think its so cool they are going to ask Seth to join them for pizza. Can I come?

After just reading this I just thought I would add some recommendations and another deserved 5 stars. Echoing what i said in my chapter comment why can't the reaction one the characters Hone gave be the norm? It boggles my mind my this should be an issue.What comes in a close second though is why is there coconut Mac-n-cheese (read the chapter comment to understand that)

I don't know how I missed this of course I don't know how I do a lot of things. The one overwhelming thought I had reading this after seeing Hone's reaction is WHY can't it be that simple? Admittedly there's more about Asperger's I don't know then I do know but from what I did know about it Corey didn't show many symptoms but the you explained that well by saying how Corey's mom got him the proper help. Hope I'm wrong but I see a future physical confrontation with Corey's former football teammates especially Jackson.Keep that spoon handy Jess. The chapter ended with "The only thought that crossed my mind as I made my way to the shower was, what the fuck was I going to tell Jess." I got news for you Nate I think she already knows

One thing I left out in my very long comment is what you allude to and that is for a first encounter that was very reckless on Craig's part and I don't picture him being more discreet in the future which means what you said Stacy or someone is going to catch them in the act
