I have an example of how the French culture is different.When the Beatles were in their heyday and toured the world in every stop needless to say there were huge crowds of girls screaming for them....everywhere except France over there there was no girls in the crowds it was all guys.It was like the French girls thought it was beneath them to scream for the Beatles. I would love to get through all your stories before you are done with your current story but I doubt I'll be able to today I made more progress because there were less distractions. Besides if I hurried through it I would be cheating myself I wouldn't get all the lovely vivid descriptions of friendships and interactions of all your characters.

I want what @raven1 and other commenters pointed out to be wrong but I don't disagree Marco makes the most sense.The bad guys probably noticed Marco hanging around Giaco and saw his very worn out clothing and both Filllipo and Antonio are probably familiar with how poor Marco's family is. Sadly he is ripe for the picking

Dani at the beginning of the chapter actually still had a little bit of what Marco has.He was worried Toto would no longer help him he really should have known Toto better. Despite all the baggage Giaco has at the moment it looks like he's good for Dani. I agree with Dani that Giaco should tell Marco and Emilia what's up but first do double pinky swears and double cross my heart and hope to die

The story is only half way done so whatever is going to happen isn't going to happen soon. I have hoping Ettore being out of town could be used to their advantage.This could have a lot of fall-out for Dani if the others find out about Giaco involvement. I wonder if Enzo knows a way to effectively deal Fillipo and Antonio .He was at de Rossi when it was attacked although the faces were concealed could Enzo tell it was them?

I always felt Marvel characters like Spiderman were more cooler and edgier(although I loved the Kevin Conroy Batman) and as a kid I made the same crack about Superman wearing his underpants on the outside. I gotta say with all these conversations Dani is eavesdropping on he has the makings of a great P.I. I never thought Giaco was a bad kid in fact he sounds like a really good kid I think he befriends Marco because he knows Marco's situation after the dust clears of all this Ettorre and Fillipo stuff I can see Dani also being a friend to Marco. Which is why Antonio tried to molest Michele because kids who got molested tend to be molesters themselves later Ettore comes off as some kind of loser and all he has is damning info about Leggero and nothing else going for him.Whatever info Ettore has must be a doozy for Leggero to do the bidding for a nothing like Ettore Did Enzo's other flunky who's name I can't recall also join up in this? And my toughest question ..Has Antonio molested Giacomo? Dani is going to eventually have to tell his trusted adult friends about this but do any of them know a mover and shaker with influence that can help in a situation like this?

One thing that wasn't clear were they the only ones on the train?I did hear a reference of being worried of anybody seeing them otherwise I saw nothing that implied that anyone other than the conductor was around. I ask this because I would think Frank Lloyd Wright's house would attract more interest. But still a very interesting first leg of the trip

I don't know if this was your intent but when Mickey and his folks dropped off the grandparents at the airport I had the uneasy feeling this is going to be the last time he sees them I hope it's just my imagination 🤞 A few other thoughts what Devin and Mikey are doing for the kids is super can't wait to see how you will describe that. Both speculations are possible that Giacomo is being forced by the thugs or what @drsawzall said is looking out for the shopkeepers both scenarios can account for the bruising. In the former Giacomo with no dad around is a good target for the thugs while in the latter Giacomo is trying to look out for his mom also I can see Dani wanting to help in that situation. You know what the saddest part of the chapter for me was? That Dani got more action from Claudia and Isabella in that one party then I did all through middle school and high school and I'm talking both male and female

Incredible ending.I can't add anything to what was already said about it.By far your most interesting (not most likable) but interesting character is Enzo despite his justified anger at what happen to him and how it affected him he still had a basic understanding of right and wrong.He figured out really quick what Antonio did and acknowledged his own cowardice with what happened to Michele.It was a very clever way you had Enzo redeem himself.He still calls Toto and Michele "queers" but also grudgingly respects them for being able to take actions he wasn't able to a few years before.He has shown that he's not dumb and he knows the two "friends" he hung out with are losers. He can still be a ticking time bomb though maybe positive reaction from the community after they find out what happened might start to turn him around but it also sounds like he needs professional help.I'm curious if in future stories if you are going to continue explore him. I hope I haven't come to late to some day read one of your stories as it is being posted some GA authors after writing some excellent stories abruptly stop but at least I will be able to go through what you have already written

If my recollection of time is right @James Carnarvon said Firefly took place around 2002 when it was first posted so with Gianni being 24 years old then this is 2018 before Co-Vid.As we know Online schooling became more common as a result of Co-Vid so perhaps Toto at lw=east for the short term can stay in town while continuing higher education. The flashback was a little more interesting for me I bet then it was for the other readers and it also reveals how twisted I was as a Teen.My buddy and I (he was hot BTW) were walking back from somewhere and in an instance it the clouds made everything really dark so "Damn it isn't suppose to rain until 5 P.M."
