I reacted angry but at the same time I want to say 'You're awesome Patrick".All of what Ethan was saying in his narrative I could relate to.In high school I would say I was half an asshole if that makes sense I never ever bullied anybody although I could have and any kind of nerd or misfit I was always civil to.But at the same time I never went out of my way to be a even casual friend or Allie to any of them and I regret that.

I wrote in a comment somewhere else that I see spelling errors in about half the stories I read on GA.And pretty much every time I know what the author meant. The thing I'm concerned about most? Is the story enjoyable if it is then I could care less about spelling errors. This story is enjoyable so misspell all you want

The part about Johnny putting his face in Donnie's side and crying had me crying.I think it's awesome that Donnie and Denny will come back and help during those very busy times. This might be the only business that goes to the street and finds it's own staff. There are day laborers but that's usually only for a short time
-
"Alex just hugged me tighter and I caressed his hair. He purred like a cat and we enjoyed just being together." Maybe I'm reading way too much in that statement but after his experience with the black cat I can't quite ignore that. If there are no adults, parents at Ryan's house what did they do to get that place? Liking the story

I remember the federal minimum wage stayed at $3.50 for a long, long time.It increased when Clinton became president.Unless I'm forgetting something there has been no mention of cell phones in this story so a good guess would be this is set in the 90's maybe 80's

Interesting chapter. This is an example on how I think and I know others have the same thought If I'm at an event like that I see a food stand that is being run by hard working teenagers I'll go to that place just for that reason the fact that they are good is a bonus.Jim gave Andre ten percent wow now almost one third of his business is owned by employees and if he does this for Jake it will be closer to half.Jim is going to have to stop that eventually right?I'm sure the business is doing better then he dreamed of so it's worth it
-
I discovered this story not too long ago thanks for creating these guys
-
Welcome Jake you deserve it.I wonder what Denny said to get Jake to come to the car?He must have told Jake what was done for him.
-
I'm showing my limited knowledge of business here so would Donnie and Denny be what you call silent partners?JIm would still be the one paying for supplies I guessI know Andre is new but could something like that cause resentment? It should be mentioned about Jim's Dad when he started that college fund for the guys to me that made him more of a father then their bio fathers ever were.
-
Another great chapter.Paul must have received a scholarship because I remember his mom struggling. Considering where Donnie and Denny came from maybe Jim can organize a dinner for the homeless
-
What awesome gestures from Jim and his Dad first getting Paul that plane ticket and then starting the college fund for Donnie and Denny. You mentioned International food I think tacos and burritos would be a popular lunch item.Jim is so busy with his business will he ever have time for a love life?
-
It would have been easy to make Baron another version of you know who but many times children don't want to be their famous parent or parents so good move.I will admit to as I got farther along reading the chapter I said to myself "When is something going to explode?"
-
Classic cliffhanger ending love it.I'm think it's Zeke at the door too early in the story to be the killer. After that phone call I would tell Tyler to trust Zeke.
-
Was that big enough for you @Tonyr Hmmm that sounded dirty never mind.I love the idea of serving dinner but telling the customer they have to transfer it to a microwavable plate could mean trouble. They would have to print warning labels even then some customer will mess up and blame them.I would worry about nuisance lawsuits.Jim baking his own bread for sandwiches that's a huge difference It's one reason why he's doing well word gets out
-
I had that happen tome and I didn't know what do so I logged out and signed back in and it solved the problem somehow.I'm sure there's a less dorky way to do it but that's what I did
-
Confession time I had a similar experience to Rick years back.I wasn't as old as Rick when I did this but it was a long dry spell. My goal wasn't to necessarily hook up it was just to see what kind of people I would meet and talk to and access the situation. My results were just like Rick's and I left knowing I was out of my element.Rick is smart and I think he knows this also. You captured his thoughts very well for I had similar thoughts. The pianist is being mentioned a lot here for that to happen I'm thinking there would have to be a huge repair job at Marta's place where Rick is there most of the day and during that time he and the Pianist interact.Even then the Pianist would have to be the extroverted personality for anything to happen. BTW if any of your readers are Brewers fans you might have ticked them off.Hey they made the playoffs three years in a row give them a brake.LOL

It might be obvious but just for the record does Donnie and Denny sharing a room mean what I think it means
-
Hey The Gettysburg address wasn't very long either
-
A lot of us have been saying how big a heart Jim has but it should also be mentioned that the same goes for his parents.A very small point when Donnie approached Denny his guard should have been up that's a classic ploy for people with bad intentions but he was also hungry so I appreciate that. There is always some idiot like Harry trying to get away with something
-
I caught on to Tristan Jeffery right away right away so shouldn't it be TJ2 instead of T2? It's a shame Tristan isn't born yet in our time that way he can do to Trump properties what he did to Emma's house. The only downside would be he might include The White House
-
I bet you he had an inspiration to re-write the chapter after that crap from last night.
-
I have pretty good idea why Donnie was on the street is that going to be talked about with Jim?As far as finding another homeless person to hire there's A chance Donnie might know somebody. I had to chuckle at the person ordering a fried egg sandwich the very last time I ate at a food truck that's what I had. Some people call these trucks roach coaches but let me tell you it was one of the best fried egg sandwich I ever had
-
In the past Ice Cream trucks were parked on the side of my street overnight until the next business day.Is there a reason why that isn't an option with Jim's food truck? In my city parking it at the park would be a problem.I'm sure he has to find out how old Donny is with child labor laws.I'm glad Jim is trying to help out Donny .That's what I love about your characters they are big hearted.

I was more like Adam's older brothers anything with a ball.Looking back on it I would love to have had the ability to read like Adam and to understand what heck I was reading.Like Adam I also was an expert at sneaking looks in P.E. without getting caught.Nobody ever called me on it lol. This story looks like it's going to be pretty good
-
It will be interesting to see some of the hoops Jim will have to jump through to get this off the ground.I'm guessing he might have to take out a loan for the truck and other stuff unless his folks will do it.Then what is he going to have to do to get a license etc. This already is an educational story.I used to record this TV soap for my Mom(rest her soul) they had a storyline about this person running an successful food truck I won't say anything about what happened after just in case you have a similar idea.
