The time period and it being a small town would explain how Scott didn't know much.Yes he said he said he was naive but in most public schools kids start to joke about that and say negative things about people doing that but Scott seemed unaware that it was taboo he wasn't against doing it.That tells me his peers who was his age didn't talk about it .In that small setting I guess it wasn't until you were Larry's age that you knew this stuff. I suppose the next chapter we will see Larry as an adult or college student because it would be difficult to find a boyfriend in that school setting.BTW I'm trying to figure out the story title all I know is biscotti is an Italian cookie is there another meaning?

So without finding out more it sounds like they are in the New York subway system and it was abandoned except for the strangers.This gave me visions of the movie Escape From New York.Will the elves be hiding in New York or creating havoc?

Does the train stop at places for people to get up and stretch their legs outside etc. like a bus trip does? I don't know having never taken a train trip I ask because if it does do that I would find out where before the final stop and have Jonathan meet them there to possibly avoid Mr. Jameson should he choose to go there but Ethan is resourceful he'll think of something. I totally understand why Michael felt like he had to tell his mother things especially after hearing her and his sister cry but it was a possibly huge mistake under no circumstances at least at first should he contact his Mom's cousin

I'm surprised Nobody here brought this up yet I thought for sure@NimirRaj would have caught this but why,why,WHY are there knives in the place both Zeke and Corey are aware of what Tyler has done how can they overlook that?Unless there are nothing but dull butter knives in there. I'm so glad Tyler has a iPad I'm glad was dancing even if it looked funny.Hey Jasper from the other story made an appearance for those who don't know what I'm referring to go to where Corey was taking Tyler's pulse.Now that he has a iPad maybe Tyler can go on GA and point it out to you in the chapter comments LOL

Just making sure readers see the 5 stars next to this when they look for a story to read .What I said in other reviews of this author's stories applies here.I will add one thing the title of the story was simple but also spot on.The place wasn't just a nice house it was a home in every sense of the word not just for the immediate family members there were three people living there not related by blood but were brothers uncles and grandpa to everybody there that they never left tells you a lot about that place.We should all be so lucky.

When Jase said Matt had to meet Jay I thought to myself what does he know about match making a gay couple but as soon as I heard the description of Jay I said to myself I stand corrected. I thought Matt over reacted to Seamus comment I took it as a quip gone bad but then again I'm not caring for a infant and I didn't hear Seamus tone as said it but Seamus did make a mistake regardless @Librent said he hopes Seamus tells Matt he's interested I think someone who owns 5 businesses and is hanging around a 20 year old and his infant brother is enough evidence that he's interested

OK warning this might be waaaaay out there.When Father heard about Tasha escaping with someone who can fly (James) his immediate thoughts was scheming on how he could exploit them for his own purposes and the younger they are the better. Now what if Father knows about Peter if that's the case then he knows that Peter's son and daughter could possibly possess powers and knowing that stress can bring those powers to the forefront MAYBE someone from the Family raped James to achieve that. OK I put it out there you can all call me a whack job now LOL. I'm editing right now what I wrote above was before I saw @drsawzall from the last chapter comments.So I'm not alone

Pieto didn't like the idea of Amo working on his Dad's farm but I guess with Tony's positive influence among other things he changed his thinking on that.Vic and Frank camping with Brad and Tom tells us they have no issues with them being gay.There was always a chance given the time period that classmates may have influenced them the wrong way but Tony's influence was stronger

I have heard high school swim teams used to have get togethers or parties where the experienced swimmers would help a younger swimmers shave off body hair for maximum speed even you know where. Phillip could implement that also except for the really young guys

The kind of thoughts Matthew is having and the things he's described at school sounds a lot like the stuff you read about when you hear of a teenager committing suicide or getting a gun and shooting up the school . Somebody in this story maybe somebody we haven't been introduced to yet will have to get involved because this doesn't look sustainable. Just thought of something so I'm adding something after I posted before.This would be bad and good maybe Dallas will go too0 far on his bullying of Matthew and it might make Jonah angry enough at Dallas to come to Matthew's aid one can hope

Well I'm glad Hunter was pleasantly surprised by his Parents reaction he says they are conservative but the church they belong to sounds progressive. I have to wonder about the detective I hope that isn't standard operating procedure questioning him in front of everybody.Even if they didn't know about the sexual nature of the crime it can be still hard to talk about in front of people I think the questioning should have been private. As far as Mayson's folks saying they have no son you immediately think it's because he's gay but it could be because they know what a POS he is.Did he get away with something when he was younger?

Everybody was blessed to have Charlie with them all these years it is puzzleing no friend were There at his grave though.I'm not smart enough to figure it out what you were saying about Frank at the end.I don't think this is it but if Frank was interested in one of the girls, for some reason I never thought of this they are adopted Brother and sisters but are not blood related what do the laws say about this could they get married as adults?

What a doofus I am I could of sworn I clicked the follow button for this story I almost missed this chapter. In places I've worked at people are always antsy around the boss but here the reaction is like Seamus has been a hard ass in the past.I think I agree with @headtransplant Seamus might be a self assured man but I think he's into Matt but doesn't know how to go about making something happen with him.

You're a kick-ass reader you read all this in three days in addition to all the other stuff you read on this site.That tells me this had you riveted as much as it had me. As you mentioned Parker covered everything in the epilogue.The trips to see Uncle Alan and family and Delia would have been fun to observe.Parker left out one minor thing.So if you don't mind saying Parker in his senior year did Andy make states in the 100 meter?And if he did he beat the guy from Carlsberg right LOL

Love the image of Roger green hat being wary of Andy and Zander Toby said Eustace and Ambrose stayed in Blackburn I guess with the Stevenson's. I hope Delia stayed an extra day there Nobody better to fill her in on Andy then all of them
