Chapter 1 Graduation Morning
weinerdog commented on AquariusGuy's story chapter in Chapter 1 Graduation Morning
“She didn’t die, Uncle Matt.” The words burst out sharper than I intend. “She left me.” If you wanted to. you could have broke the third wall by adding "Besides this is an @AquariusGuy story you're never sure someone dies or not" He’s a blur of messy hair and mismatched pajamas, mismatched pajamas? No he has another pair just like it except on the other one the shirt pattern is on the pants and the pants pattern is on the shirt otherwise it's the same -
Many awesome comments here That I can't add to. But I do have a couple of observations I hope @Summerabbacat is right about his speculation of his so called "DAD?????" not really being his dad. Perhaps that means the real Dad is a decent person. Of course that could work the other way also. I'm surprised none of the smart readers here hasn't brought this up. I can see this at least being threaten to go to litigation and if it does I see one card the slimeballs and their lawyers might be able to play. I see a red flag about Nana putting "something" in her coffee. Does she have a history of alcoholism that can be exploited? I can see Jack maybe getting angry at Nick for the picture of his back that Jack didn't know Nick took and doesn't want it brought up at the hearing but if the slimeballs use Nana's possible alcoholism the pictures may be the only thing they have to counter with.

Interlude: Nana's House
weinerdog commented on Jason Rimbaud's story chapter in Interlude: Nana's House
Whatever it is Dylan isn't saying it must be a doozy🤞 -
Enough sports talk. Most of y'all dont speak Sportese. Well in my defense I was responding to @kbois. I was just taking the ball and running with it. OOPS

How old are the other kids are they school age yet?(Forgive me it you mentioned it) @Connectwriter might get some flack from his female readers having the baby constantly crying but not the baby boy😄

Miami didn't want it to get that close so kudos to FSU for not folding like a lot of teams would do. Are you adopting any Boston area teams. After watching some of BC yesterday I guess that's off your list. How about the Patriots? Tough game against Buffalo today. The Red Sox?......WHO!!!😄

“We should bet,” Lyn said, ready for a challenge. No,no,NO!!!!! Lyn. geez🙄 Bradley wants the same thing he’s come to expect from you. You are to blame for his taking you for granted, by the way. And now that he has noticed something is happening between us--” So what is Alexander thinking that Brad will cross THE line so Lyn will go back to his former ways with him

Fuddy -duddies? Jack's Grandma needs to speak to @Summerabbacat for more colorful adjectives

I agree with @Mattyboy and @AquariusGuy about what Nick 's mom has planned. Since on the surface this is perfect I suspect the PINO's (Parents in name only) will refuse to let the Grandmother pay Jack's tuition. So that means they better have a plan and use Nick's pictures as part of it So many hilarious one-liners in this just one question......Why do you suppose @LittleBuddhaTW know SO MANY small butt jokes🤔

Cinzilla from The Best Year would have been a classic soap opera character You ever notice on a soap opera all the characters on the show even the ones who never interact have everyones cell phone number...interesting

“Good thing the only other family I have is in Utah,” Utah...where the Mormons are I guess Joel wouldn't get a much better reaction from them I started up the stairs not knowing what the real plan was for the evening, but I knew it wouldn’t be camping. I think @akascrubberis on to something. A chance for Joel and Davin to talk and maybe...more🤔 So Joel is now going to be a Warhawk? You say you already have the story written? So will Joel's new team play Joel's old team? It would probably be in the playoffs. I could see the pitcher trying to hit Joel with a pitch which would start a bench clearing brawl......If you didn't write that I'm sure you can still add it in ...Right?🤞

This is a good place for this old joke Q: Why do dogs lick themselves? A: Because they can And don't think humans wouldn't either

Both of those are perfect especially Jack

“You festering dumpster troll of a crusty, perv-soaked pedo freak – go crawl back into the sewer from where you were spawned, you swamp-scented disgrace to hygiene and decency!” That’s when Satan’s henchman knocked on the door, “how does someone smell like human excrement, Limburger cheese, and a dead raccoon at the same time?” OK @LittleBuddhaTW you can't fool us any longer you're really @Summerabbacat aren't you

She stepped forward and smiled, and the energy of the room shifted immediately. Her energy was... warm, larger-than-life. Big. Comforting but commanding. She was a large Black woman, possibly in her mid-to-late 40s, with long, gorgeous dreadlocks that reached the middle of her back. She wore oversized glasses, a colorful, patterned cardigan, chunky costume jewelry, and carried a crocheted handbag with a stitched image of a dog on the front. So the new house parent is.......Whoopi Goldberg🤔

First off thank you for getting rid of Johnston I was afraid that problem was going to linger......and not just his odor. Oh and remember his quid pro line? I shudder to think what he had in mind. On a more serious note I really hoped we could work on that – on him not seeing Tommy as a threat. Tommy was a friend, OK there's a reason that line was in the chapter and it may not be good. Nick did say he'll be coming back for the summer. Doing things that teen boys do I can picture Nick and Tommy "trying" some alcohol and in a drunken state they cross the line. Now Nick would have a dilemma would he tell Jack? (assuming Jack doesn't catch them) and also Nick will tell himself he's no better than Noah. If this happens I think it would be in the sequel. I hope it doesn't but it would make for good drama

I loved the references to the current events that you mentioned and the products that you mentioned I do wonder about one place you mentioned Frisch’s Big Boy in California there used to be a places called Bob's Big Boy do you know if there's a connection? The relationship between the characters of Jeff and Paul is purely fictional. Be that as it may it worked really well in this story

[Memory, Junior Year in High School] – Less Than Perfect
weinerdog commented on Laura S. Fox's story chapter in [Memory, Junior Year in High School] – Less Than Perfect
Wow talk about a wicked curve ball being thrown after 26 chapters. “Mistake? He used to be quite generous with you, if I recall correctly.” “You do. But not everything in life is about money. That sounds like Blanche actually has some kind of value system something that has not been apparent up until now. Another reason for this stance might be she knows something dangerous about this guy. The short exchange Lyn had with the new guy sounds like Brad although I would think that would have been made reference to by now. Whoever this guy is must be gay for him to actually know Lyn's name as if he made a point to find out,If it's not Brad then it was someone who he had a bad experience with- 27 comments
