To be honest I didn't think Margot was an ice queen...If you have read enough of Casual 's works you know if a character comes off so perfect or controlling it usually means that is a facade...that said character is using that as an armour to hide the imperfections inside.. That being said....I agree with you...even Nora ,our resident ice queen acknowledged it which is all the better for us for I believe without that interaction we would not have reached the beautiful destination that the trio find themselves at the conclusion of the chapter!

I am not going to desecrate this chapter with a comment !..🤯😲🤩..I cannot even describe the feeling am having after reading this Thank you @CasualWanderer82.... @CasualWanderer82...you have this knack for choosing the right titles for the chapters...The title of this chapter definitely fits what transpires at the end of this chapter.. This was a really sad chapter for me. A dear friend mentioned me being wrong in my comment about Daniel's transformation being complete in the previous chapter..He was so right. What happens in this chapter for both Alec and Daniel ,but mostly for Daniel, is a re-calibration . What even makes this chapter all the more profound for me is the interactions that Daniel has with Theo, the Merger talks and finally whatever that thing with the 3 French guys was . You have written unraveling before ...what happens with Daniel in the course of this chapter is something else. Thank you!

Another chapter that advances the story more...it's like each chapter is an onion peel...I like this style of writing!

This chapter subtly hints at the imminent obstacles that await this family(Dec/Rowan, Aiden and Cianan).I like to believe that is why Declan is wary as seen from his comment to his husband. Am I the only one thinking that taking that vial to a scientist is a bad decision?..That it might put this family under scrutiny...Have watched enough movies...where this never ends well. Thank you!

I like to believe it's one of those moments where ignorance is bliss .I mean even you would have trouble believing that you are interacting with an ancient being in the form of a 14 year old.

From the comments I can see the #TeamMalik folks coming out😂. That being said this chapter packed a lot and more .Daniel Baumont has undergone a complete metarmorphosis..If last chapter ended with him entering the first stage ..this chapter ends with him completely unmoored. He is now free..He is done living his life according to a schedule..I would go as far as to say this chapter especially that breakfast 'confrontation' with Margot is his Defying gravity moment of the story. Then there is Nora...she might have gone a bit 'undetected' in the last 3 chapters but I feel like this chapter has had a lot going on for her too.. That confrontation scene with Daniel in the morning is someone letting go of the shackles of composure..I reckon she decides to become human in that moment...emotions do after all indicate our humanity..It is her comforting of Daniel after that for me makes her formidable that it is no wonder Daniel acknowledges it later at the breakfast table ..That being said I like to believe that of the two , she comes out from that confrontation more enlightened than Daniel.. the failed love making later in the chapter finally drives home the point for her that this marriage is now beyond salvageable. I knew @CasualWanderer82 could not help him self...😂😂..in regards to Malik...That bloke's thrust game is top notch for him to just have made a single appearance...now wonder Daniel is still thinking of how Malik re-arranged him weeks later..This story is going to get steamier with each chapter have decided to get myself a hand fan just so don't burn out 😂 Thank you Casual!

I remember when I first read Asher's introduction ...I didn't like him even then..and to be honest sometimes I don't even like Killian Kendall and yet he is the main character😂😂..

There are two things I always look forward to and am guaranteed to get whenever @CasualWanderer82 hits these streets😉 1. He drops a bombshell of a chapter depicting all facets of human chaos in language only he can come up with obviously😂 2..You, our in-house Maestro, gives us a Jungian perspective in a language we mere mortals can understand. That being said...thank you😂

Thank you Phillipe..It sucks somewhat that this story was written a long time ago so @Josh Aterovis resolved everything...Otherwise it would have been fun seeing what he does in present time with these characters... That being said ..I used to think am the only one who is not a fan of Asher..hihi...glad to see am not...There is something about Asher that really irks me...Then again that is the brilliance of the writer giving us a character like him. Then there is Killian ..I have lost count of the number of times have felt like pulling my already short hair out because that lad is exasperation embodied😂😉

Okay...am going to seem mean but it's common knowledge,at least here in my country,that people called Bridget are mostly on the dim side ...I know 4 Bridgets in real life and let's just say there is not much going on up there That being said..I liked the 'detective dynamic' between Jacy and Killian. While at it...am thinking we should start a guessing game ...though I reckon it's never easy at all to do guessing in the Aterovisian Universe.hihi.. @Summerabbacat...come we try guessing who the killer is ..haha .there are many suspects this time around. Damn!..this chapter cooks 😉...A whole lot! I always like reading a character who is underestimated and overlooked by others the way Prince Otello is in this book..He is so far my best written supporting character in this series and it's just his re-introduction. That being said how on earth did Venr and Zdain have the misfortune of having Dareis and Elyssa as parents and come out noble as they did ..Those two would do anything for power..eh.. The Ksingis seem like a whole lot of bad news judging by the reaction of everyone in the room when they mentioned about the Empire's defeat. Would I be wrong in assuming the Ksingis are the equivalent of historical Genghis khan and his army?

It's like each new chapter brings with it more intrigue and 'dastardly' folks..hihi...am all for it
