At first reading, one concludes that Ned really fucked up big time ..but as one reads it again, it becomes clear that it was the best decision. They were both injured with their lives in peril . That being said you really have outdone yourself with Graves...I don't think there is a character whose downfall am looking more forward to than his ...I don't even wish him to die..I wish to see him completely 'neutered'.For him to fall so low that he can never rise again😄...That is how emotional that character gets me Thank you!

That was a really depressing but beautiful epilogue....I don't know if it's only me who has realized this but there is a pattern...all our young heroes have been touched by the Might in some way . ...All the main lads of the story are descended from someone who has might or Interacted with the Might ...Bartos is powerful and I like to believe a product of a Devil's bargain from his father ..Franz ...Zdain..Josel and now Darren ....You sir have crafted a gem...I cannot wait long enough for Book 4 to drop... That being said ...I look forward to the day when the good/Light will start taking the fight to Dark...There is so much loss going on the side of Light ...first Marl ...and now Jestok(even though we hardly knew you).... I like the fact that the mutilated man(Chab) comes out of this epilogue as the dark horse of the saga going forward....I cannot wait to see how Bartos and Chab will fare going forward as this book has so far hinted that they are the two most powerful of Might users.. The Carter family is something else...It is like they have mastered the art of putting down folks with an overblown sense of importance ..Jacob does it with the press corps(photographers) by acting as though they don't exist, not giving them a quarter...The master evisceration of Sterling by Peter...Will and his team at the Airport lounge displaying 'conduct' unbecoming of a Governor(am sure the clowns on Trump's side must have been livid )...This family plays to beat of their own drama...it's just so beautifully brazen!. That sequence at the Nationals....That was something that cannot be desecrated by further comment on my behalf...It was like communion!...I personally loved how Tommy gave the proverbial finger to the US ..Him choosing to put that hat was like throwing the opening salvo in a battle ..C'est magnifique!...Tommy illustrated to the Orange turdball and his dingoes wherever they were watching from that the ice flame of North burns true in all 'Northerners' and can never be extinguished no matter what they do....Tommy's performance reminded me of Game of Thrones' House Martell's mantra ...Unbowed.Unbent.Unbroken! OMG!..Graves such has delusion of grandeur...eh...The audacity to make such a deal...At first I laughed then after calming down a bit ..I felt sorry for him...he has no idea what bind he just put himself into.. You are the expert on the human condition Sir, what drives people like Graves? The MVP for this chapter is Caleb....that young lad took one for the team literally....I felt so broken on his part ..Now I cannot wait to have Trump and his people get their just desserts.... this is the first time you have made Caleb really human ...he has always been this perfect intelligent automaton....Here you stripped him of all that and gave us a young man who is swimming in a sea full of hidden monsters..

For me this chapter reinforces my belief that Robert is a spineless man....he cannot seem to make up his mind and stand up for himself....To quote a certain blithering orange clown of a president ...'Shame' When the story comes to an end, I reckon Aiden should get a whole lot of therapy because...eh...thats Uber manipulation ... I loved that Julian outsmarted the old geezer...and unveiled him for what he really is.....a street thug masquerading as High society Patriarch..

You ever read a character and wish all the bad stuff happening to them....well for me that character is Arthur Hayes .. That's old geezer needs to be brought down ...
