That being said ...the 'Sandkan' family has to have the best luck in the world how else would one explain how Andreusz keeps finding trouble and yet escapes unscathed ..eh.. That Bartos has might ..and two types of it it to boot(some sort of precognition and Telekinesis) makes him a dark horse in this story... Am glad to see the paths of the Royal family(Negos) and the rest of the heroes,even if it's only Andreusz at this moment, converging...Have been restlessly waiting for them to come into contact ...Just a reminder if you don't mind,I seem to have forgotten....Is Otello the same prince who deciphered the stories or that is another prince.? What Just happened?..I personally nominate Chapter 9 to be the best chapter yet of the written ones in Carter's campaign..Now the fun can earnestly begin ...That was genius Mr.Lydon.....Tomorrow cannot get here soon enough .. My hope is we have the A-team(Will,Caleb,Lisa and Brody) back in the same room.....because ass kicking is about to start... The last portion of this chapter is award worthy material I swear ...the sequence of the trio in the bar and Will at the Mansion finally getting his epiphany that the only way forward is burning Trump and his acolytes......C'est magnifique! My..oh.My...This chapter served a gourmet..damn!.. That was just so marvelously written....I almost felt sorry for that harpy Blaine...that was a take down like never before.... Sometimes....one can take so much..until they cannot anymore...Will Carter was a badass ...French never sounded so powerful than it did in that address..🫡

In most shifter stories ,unlike vampire stories, changing a human is dangerous..I have read a lot of them and I can say with confidence that they mostly never change into shifters ..Changing fundamentally changes the human ..so in this case Jack would not be a clairvoyant. Maybe @Laura S. Fox will change that.

We all wanted to know what caused the rift ..but damn If I was prepared for this chapter ... This was a train wreck....all 3 guys working on assumptions....I do not even know what to add since @Cane23 and @LeeSA have got covered it...Brad was just ....cruel.. That was like adding salt to an open wound..it makes things worse and Lyn was already feeling worse...Damn!

That was one banger of a cliff hanger!..Jack finds himself in peril ...from a ghostly interloper...it's getting a little crazier with each new chapter and am all for it
