Whoa...this is going to be an interesting ride....the introduction of the nocturnal being introduces an aspect of the supernatural counter to the dark we have had in the previous three books...I have been waiting to see the Light side of the equation and now we have the Everborn and the nocturnal being ..damn...Am so ready for this 😂

I like the new approach already...Having multiple PoVs in the same chapter that is ... That being said....am all for it...the Danae/Darren dynamic is going to be interesting to say the least

At least we got somewhere with Tad in this chapter...That stunt with Aaron reminded of a Desperate Housewives episode in which Andrew Seduced his mother Bree's boyfriend....that was pretty shitty then..it is still shitty now. This chapter was such a welcome for me after the personal hell of a week I just had ....Thank you! That election like @drpaladin said was indeed a nail biter..I was feeling the same way I felt the real night of 5th November 2024...Knowing anything not blue was going to be bad news for the world...Am glad this didn't happen.. That sequence of the Carters reuniting was just so beautiful.. I re-read that thrice..It was that superb.. The last part of the chapter however is what makes this chapter the Magnum opus of this whole book for me..The way you captured West's emotions and fears on pending fatherhood.. that was gold...You showed that even the most stoic can mellow on hearing the news of being a first time parent like West did .The part where he collapses due the overwhelming good news was just so award winning piece of writing for an emotional scene... Like Peter told the Dr.Ishikawa, God help them all and us when those triplets finally make their appearance ..I find myself wishing one of them is a girl..she would temper the madness in that particular household . Huey, Duwey and Louie had me cackling like a hyena..Only Peter would come up with such madness...I can almost hear him shouting at them when they mess up😉🤣 I almost forgot to talk about the beautiful relationship and evolution of Jared MacMillan and Caleb Henderson ...Those two men have gone unnoticed by others in this book but personally I rate them among the most beautifully written of this series..Especially Caleb..His character arc was so rich and well written...I like to believe personally that he,Tommy/Jake, West/Peter and Ned carried the book for me We started this book on a bleak note...and we end it on a high note. Thank you for this awesome and beautiful piece Mr.Lydon.

@vanalas...I swear this is too much ...You can not keep doing this to us ..You drop a chapter as bleak as this and then you are going to 'disappear' again for who knows how long🤣😉.. That being said ....I somewhat anticipated this chapter to end this way when I read the sequence of Dean and his mother ...the timing couldn't not have been any worse for Dean to finally confess his feelings... Sophia impossibly becomes worse with each new chapter that you post.....That woman is the devil's incarnate I swear ! Good to have you back @vanalas

Okay...the Micah/Killian situation is starting to boggle me down.😉...Am sure @Josh Aterovis is having a mean good old time laughing when he reads our comments concerning that particular situation. That being said my long awaited section of Jacy/Fletcher/ Killian has happened ..Cannot wait so enough to see how it goes... Just in case @Summerabbacat...come here we first shake some sense in our procrastinating Killian lad🤣🤣

That being said ...what Will told Trump is right....Heavy is the crown....One has to keep making concessions...heavy concessions..

Am just glad that Killian will be crossing paths with Jace/Fletcher....Have been waiting for this book to happen ..for Killian to meet folks who are supernaturally tinged..hehe

This Tommy centric chapter shows that sometimes heroes are not loud....That they come in small,studious and bespectacled packages!
