Blimey ! casual you gone and done it ...again🫡🫡..this chapter served endlessly. I for one am glad to be in this era and not the period were heresy was a big deal...Cause I would be a good candidate for revelling in such a tale .haha.. The Creator gives a foreboding of what is to come at the beginning of the chapter ....but was personally still not prepared for what actually comes at the end ...You are a marvel @CasualWanderer82...and I solemnly swear am not simping🤣🤣 -

Just curious ,how many times have you re-read it?..myself...Thrice!!..it's that good...especially that whole sequence back at the villa...casual writes some really otherworldly stuff ..but that sequence for me has to be among the best pieces of writing he has done.. -

Oh my!..only your beautiful crazy imagination would conjure something as crazy as this. Devin playing the lying game against the being who invented lying🫡🤣. It is not something I expected to ever imagine when I woke up today..I am, to channel Gen Z, Sat🤣🤣... That being said what you did with this chapter is beyond words for me..I thought nothing would ace Chapters 10 and 14 for me and yet here we are...it's just eerily beautiful @CasualWanderer82.. Damn!..the next two weeks are going to be hard to wait...That cliff hanger doesn't help either🤣 That being said. .I am happy this chapter addressed two issues.. 1..Josel is not exactly non-receptive of Zdain 's affection .If that dream/nightmare showed anything .is that there is something there ..but he is a teenager and well teenagers are not exactly known for being self aware🤣 2..Josel will finally escape MocVann's clutches..have been. Anxiously waiting for him to run away..Though am sure he is no longer the same cloud eyed youth we met in Book 1..his life has been totally and irreversibly upended ...Nothing sucks more like finding out your whole life story is not what you believed it to be . Thank you!

Oh my..The amount of tea serving and cooking in this chapter was epic! I personally would named this chapter the Tale of the formidable Clare Hayes .The amount of dressing down she does in this chapter is on another level...I liked the subtle connection to a certain president of a country who has bankrupted several of his own businesses..haha That being said. .am I the only one asking for an aneurysm to happen to Arthur Hayes ..That old geezer is like a pimple that just cannot go away . I mean you cannot keep overestimating yourself the way that man does without having some undisclosed mental issues.. I feel Julian should slap some more faces ..because I heard that slap all the way this side of the world -
So much going on here in this chapter I literally had whip lash😂 That being said. ..Jack is just something else...eh..Even under pressure..he always has a joke on the ready..

Owen Donnelly is 90% of what we go through here in my country..You literally have no agency and have to tow the line of familial obligation and expectations .God forbid you make a mistake of even slightly going off trajectory . Thank you for this one!..It hits so close to home.

This chapter highlights transitions for me..The dynamics of the relationship between Ade and Zdain that is ..The chapter starts on such a high note of reunion only to end with the unspoken/undeclared 'truth' that the 'ship' has sailed .That there are totally different people now .No where is it more highlighted by how assertive Zdain is when it comes to their coitus and also when Zdain calls out Ade on his denial..Am not even going to start on Josel popping up in Zdain 's mind . That being said this chapter is awesome..

The plot thickens!...Nothing pleases me more than seeing Sophia and Arthur's schemes come to nothing. All the hate and plotting against Julian only for him to end up getting everything they wanted..I would go crazy😂😂 -
I liked how Theo gave 'lip' to the evil spirit..that was super awesome...Nothing sucks powerful beings like ignoring them...it bruises their ego a great deal.

I don't think am ever going to be stop being in awe of how you are able to craft characters ...The description of Mouse is just a class of it own Thank you!

Yes..there is that angle too. The scheming am talking about was in his thought patterns regarding Elyssa and Temogam. In addition, I personally feel that his loyalty to Vargan has run it's course so to speak

I was talking in terms of being scheming...He is scheming too. Every thought ,as shown in this chapter, indicates he is a player of the game of politik. Maybe because he grew up in an environment where it was all about scheming for power .

The amount of politik in this chapter gave me a migraine 😂....Despicable people ..all of them... It makes even feel sadder for Venr and Zdain.

I think @Laura S. Fox is on a mission of sorts to get the Best red herrings Award for this one...because the amount that have been dropped so far warrants a case study That being said I cackled reading the part where Ali urges Larry to ram it deep and hard...eh... Which brings me to his attitude towards the Golden Princeling ..there seems some resentment in there an indication of unresolved business..

Am in awe of Julian...He built himself up ..Anybody else might have completely broken down but not him. That is resilience embodied... My deepest respect for him comes from the fact that he completely excised himself from his family. That is something some folks in real life try to do but never achieve.. Thank you @Nuno R.F.C.R..You just keep surprising me ..
