I can relate to that too @Cane23..It is soul sapping. What makes it even more painful is that you are left to struggle on your own .The other parties being too involved with themselves..to even notice that you are unraveling.

Yesterday was watching a clip of Rowan Atkinson(Mr.Bean fame) ..I think it was a stand up he did...He was the devil and he was assigning places for the fallen in hell..and then there was point where he was assigning The French, the Americans...and the current head of state whose name shall not be named....Reading this chapter ..especially that scene between Eisenhower and Dottie made me think he was right😀😀... You explained the Butterfly effect of time travel in that Agent Reed Scene so well...I have always struggled with stuff that deal with time travel. Thank you...and can we have a petition to have Dottie Umbridge get some karma😀😀

I feel sympathy for him because can't help it.hihi...Thats why I mentioned consequences...We all have to face those with each choice and decision we make. His choices, indecisiveness and cowardice have led him to where he is.. it's always hard for me to see a character unravel like that especially since the character in question is one of the main protagonist.....It happened to Daniel in the previous story...it's happening here

OMG!...what did I just read?..Two chapters in a row have seen battered women(Eirene and now Ariadne) rise like phoenixes and take back their power.Declare that they are done being pawns. My..has it been nice to read...It was literally an Queen Elsa moment .You know from Frozen..Eirene and Ariadne decided to let go and woe to anyone who thinks otherwise😂😂 Our Golden couple made us swoon...their public display of unrestrained passion and devotion even elicited yearning and envy in the cold dead hearts of the vampires..You boys rock! Renato...the intrepid guardian watching calmly , unfazed by Valerius's macho posturing😂😂...I swear I want Valerius's end to be slow and painful...Reminded of the Originals....one smarmy vampire villain was trapped in a container and thrown in the sea...Imagine having to repeatedly drown...that torture would be ideal for Valerius..See what you gone and done to me now?😂.....Bringing out my Dark impulses😀 Mother...being called out for what she really is...a sycophant..who overestimates herself.. She needs to be thrown around like a rag doll.. That being said...this chapter was superb ..I cannot describe more...Thank you!

This chapter, especially that last scene of Alexander and Lyn, made me feel sad for Lyn. That bloke could use some visits at a therapist .That dire need to be in control, not to be vulnerable has made him close himself up. It harkens back to the scene in the first chapter,the one with his friends with benefits. I like to believe that arrangement would have morphed into something more significant but for Lyn's emotional detachment. That being said...am glad this happened..It might not be much but at least it has opened Lyn up to the possibility albeit subconsciously that it's okay to surrender control .To let go because there is someone who will catch you when you fall. He only just have to get out of his head😂😂.

Well..I beg to differ ...I do not think Jace would let his son be mistreated.Noah was right.Despite his flaws , at his core Jace is a good man and a great father.I do not believe for a second that Matteo is going to succeed in his scheme to get Jace.If this chapter was any indication,Jace has now realised what kind of crazy person Matteo is . What one is also noticed about this chapter is that with all the issues these guys have , their love for Rain is paramount..That is why I believe that whatever happens, they will always put Rain's well being forefront.

Jace is now at his lowest!..He has no anchor at all..He is unemployed.His reputation has been completely shredded(and Jace's biggest fear is having a rotten reputation). He and Noah are separated,and with events at the end of this chapter, he has probably lost Noah forever. Basically he is drowning...When someone is at such a point in their life, their only focus is getting to the next day!. That bomb of Matteo was so explosive that it took away all Jace's logic😂....I like to believe the power dynamics at play at that particular point in time are tilted more to Matteo's side. With all that in play , I don't think his legal suit against crazy Matteo would succeed. Fear really is a bitch...eh..No wonder it can be weaponised. Jace's fear of losing Noah made him omit a matter of such great importance. I feel sorry for the man.😏

I knew there were going to be in trouble and that is just day 1...My worry is that Hugo's knowledge might be used by those people in a way that negatively impacts the future... Alec Stoker has really good instincts....he knew they were in a bad place before even the crazy shit went down...

This chapter reminded me of that Indian Jones and the kingdom of crystal skull...Irina Spalko found out too late that too much knowledge is a poisoned chalice....our Hugo is just realising that the aggregates are not free lunches ..There is a price to pay for being one.

I swear...am bereft of words to describe what Daisy Bell is... That scene with Blake is her Chef-d'œuvre.....When I was reading that scene ...I was not reading a character...I was experiencing the embodiment of maternal love and when Daisy Bell finished her speech and went into the house ,I could not help being dumbfounded like Blake. Thank you @CasualWanderer82....for giving us Daisy Bell.
