I agree with you.The nastiness that is bound to come from Elijah is what I feel will 'destroy' him ..Remember he has always felt like a failure where that prick is concerned...Always made him feel like a disappointment.. As for Noah going on with another guy,I feel like it would be taking away his agency .It makes it feel like he is only good because he is partnered with someone...In my opinion, the best win Noah could have is being independent because you notice he has been heavily dependent on someone since the story began ..First his family, then Jace. As for Jace and Matteo..I do not think they can last...what makes infidelity attractive is the thrill of being with someone you are not allowed to have...Once that novelty wears off, the affair tends to peter out naturally. Granted they had unresolved feelings for each other but Jace does indeed love Noah and Rain...I have said it before people get caught up in passion for a while but then once the passion sizzles up..they wake up. The other reasons I believe they cannot have a happy ending is because the guilt and shame of their actions would never leave them...Regret can be a nasty bitch .The fall out front this affair is bound to be really big. Lives will be destroyed .Plus in this universe ,cheating is social suicide and especially bad for the instigator who in this case is Matteo..It never ends well for the mistress😂...You should check out @vanalas's other story, The Mistress.. Basically I believe the message this story is trying to deliver is Infidelity destroys lives. That people cheat because they make a choice to do so...Chris rightly called out Jace for his excuses...and in this chapter Jace and Matteo both make the choice to start the affair...knowing fully well it's the wrong thing to do.

Eh..I thought am the only one feeling so..but that is passion for you. Once you yield to it...there is no going back. This episode highlights the lightness of the emotional ties that bind Noah and Jace ..If he truly and wholly loved him as he claimed, then Jace would have been able to fight the temptation that is Matteo.. He did not put up a fight the first time,as Chris clearly told him. He chose to cheat...Usually people who romanticise infidelity always quote all is fair in love and war..I always thought it's bullshit...I believe if your love is at the expense of others. If it has a deleterious effect on others...then that is not love at all. Love transforms people and those around them in a positive way...what Jace and Matteo have is a warped version of what love is...The fact that they need to sneak around ..to lie about their past....that is how limited they are....Love doesn't limit...it is all encompassing!

This chapter was the death knell of my Calvin-Jordan dream😂😂.. It's nice to have you back @KKirk....the Literary Diety must have given you a boon....Inspiration😂 Thank you for the update!

This is a surprise!..I mean the update coming on Thursday...It's very delightful indeed.. I like the fact that Jamie has finally seen the light.. This story has been about personal growth. And boy has Jamie had his share of it...From the sulky, emotionally detached and impulsive person we meet in the first chapter...to this mature person we get in this episode... It's marvelous!..Now if only he could try to make amends for his nasty behaviour towards Hearst! I always wondered how Wencel and Hearst can be like that...Am not close with my brother but our relationship is at least a good one...These two don't even care about each other! Thank you!

I meant to comment but must gotten sidetracked by something... I was glad to see Damien make an acquaintance with someone who really 'sees' him...Hopefully Alex can be a good friend . That being said..I come from a place where we don't have the American high school culture like the likes depicted in the stories on platforms like GA..What I mean cliques are not tolerated in schools here as school authorities believe they lead to discrimination and bullying which defeats the whole purpose of education. It's also the rationale they give for having all schools(Nursery-Secondary/High school) put on uniforms..they believe it fosters unity. ..Hollywood has romanticised cliques but I personally believe they are not healthy..

Yet another beautiful episode of this tale...the near-death experience,I like to believe, has set off a chain of introspection in these two lads.. Reading the scene of JJ and his mother made me wish my parents were that perceptive and open minded...but alas! Thank you for this update!

I agree...if you have ever watched the Mafia movies based on Mario Puzo novels...there are terms usually used communion and confirmation .. in the former ,when the person is killed, their remains are never found(swimming with the fish at the bottom of the ocean) ..in confirmation, the body is left for all to see ...In this scenario, I find myself wishing a confirmation for Sinclair and Sir Mason 'Dafuq'...and communion for Enrico😂
