When I was reading this chapter...especially the scene where Danny neutralises Cassandra's powers...couldn't help but think of Diana Bishop from the All Souls Trilogy by Deborah Darkness.. His gifts, for lack of better word, are similar to those of Diana. In that he is a Weaver. His power is limited by his self-belief and imagination as alluded to by Jack in their confrontation with Cassandra. Did you get mate vibes when it came to Jack and Theodore from this

Oh no...am sorry .That must be a stressful situation going on. I guess will just have to make do...it's not so bad..like you can understand it if you know what you exactly reading

Journeying Boy: Poetic Inspirations

You could not have stated it better .Dawn has been one of my favourite secondary characters from the beginning..at least now we have an image of her...Before she was just on the other end of the 'phone'. -

I agree...personally it's Vince and Matt who impress me more..Vince has become approachable and jocular .Less formal . Matt is like a flower that is on the verge of full bloom...it's been so nice to witness. -
Welcome back....I hope your grandpa is faring well now? It is nice..I must point out though that sometimes it is hard to understand the grammar .It's otherwise a good chapter! Thank you!

Sometimes you are eerily 'prophetic' when it comes to some stories hereππ. I like to believe the split has been a long time coming ...

I also only recently discovered a month or so ago that you can privately message someone...You press on the author's name and then you will see the message icon.

Whoa .I want to be like you when I grow upπππ

Sorry to hear about the power issue..here in Uganda,we get those that we are used to them..part of life. Hopefully it was/will be resolved soon That being said, this was a beautiful but nerve wrecking chapter.Tried to imagine the head space you were in while writing the scene of Dallas and JJ falling in the water and their escape from what could have turned into tragedy had it not been JJ's quick thinking and resilience. Thank you!

Gabe. The perfect protagonist for a supernatural tale...Lonely with repressed feelings...that's definitely it. Thank you!

Maybe...but notice that Enrico is starting to make mistakes . And those tend to pile up on your eventually. Before he was working in the shadows ..but with his latest move now he is out in the open so to speak ..it doesn't help that Templeman had already started his hunt..
-
Good morning Sir, And a great day you have definitely started for us with this marvelous chapter ..Gregory Templeman in this chapter was Jason Bourne come aliveππ....and my Enrico is something else!

Welcome to the 'I want to smack some sense into Lynton' Club...both in the past and the present,Lyn chooses the self denial mechanism...like you said, it's better to hide behind a lie than face the truth -
Oh please do not get us...at least me wrong. The fact that I get so ruffled is because this is such a good story....Good stories elicit such reactions πππ...they become part of us

I have been waiting for this....like forever.....now gonna count the seconds till it 'premieres'...

It's good to have you back sir!...am guessing Lord Inspiration hit you and the result is this chapterπ.. This part below had me almost pulling my hair out though.ππ....I had to read that part thrice just so to believe I was seeing right...and then I thought of you and was like you must have 'laughed' at yourself while writing that particular bit...It was at that moment that I sort of 'gave up' on Calvin ..and mourned my Calvin/Jordan lossππ Thank you for 'coming ' back ...

Now that you mention it, I remembered our family doctor growing up always seemed to have some bit of liquor in him.. -

I had almost forgotten this ..Thank you @Cane23...I like to believe that was the moment our Lyn 'fell' line, hook and sinker indeed. -
Hugo did indeed not do himself with any favours....for a moment I thought you are giving us the 19th Century version of Fifty shades of Greyππ
-
Oh God!...you outdid yourself with this one sir...It was epic!.I don't know if you have telepathy but yesterday was thinking it was high time Hugo dispensed with high Superior attitude, snobbishness and disrespect when it came to Stoker.. It was grating on my nerves seriously. I figured folks really acted like that during that era but damn they are ,to borrow a quote, 'Not in Kansas in anymore'..So there were equals because they were both in a situation which didn't bother with class differences.. You must have had a great time writing that scene .ππ Thank you!
