I feel like he thought he could never be caught...I swear if he tries to gaslight Nick, that it was Nick's fault that he cheated...I will definitely transport myself into the story to deliver a well earned ass whopping 😅😅😅

What I have learnt from reading fantasy stories/ books and watching fantasy movies and series is that no benevolent being asks for a soul in return for a boon.. All Literature have come across has always portrayed beings asking for souls in return as being dark/evil..... I personally feel he is a proxy for another dark being ..After all darkness/evil never cooperates😅...Agents of evil always seek one-up manship over each other ...It's a theory am running with in my head😅

Yes..Vargan does indeed overestimate himself...Usually such people falls the hardest..I cannot wait for his reckoning to come . Berron Rigailon is the text book example of the 'road to hell is paved with good intentions' ..Now the chickens are coming home to roost and now cannot wait to see how strong his moral compass is..

Blimey!..what a cliff hanger! Just when you think Josel and Zdain have got some bit of reprieve , this chapter drops..eh. Berron Rigailion is a cautious reminder that nothing ever really comes free...there is always a catch in there..A price to pay...God those two young boys(Josel and Zdain) need a serious break😅😅😅 As for Vargan...I always like channelling Darth Vader...he will choke on his ambition if he is not careful😅😅😅 Thank you!

I know...I didn't include Jack/Nick because they are end game... I put Nick/Christian together because I know it's impossible...hence my dreams do not come true most of the time but😅😅

Just one question....how do you do it Mr.Lydon?..The balance in the chapters...You balance exposition, comedy,action, romance and intensity in such a manner it leaves us guessing what comes next😅

You are right about seeing the good in people ..In a way reading this story makes me realise am a mirror image of Nick ..It is hard to stop😏 Even I suspected Nick would get Noah flagrante delicto...Good thing he realised he has wasted months of his life ...

He has screwed up colossally but it's something that can be repaired with time..He did not just hurt Jack...he hurt all his friends so he will have to do a lot of work to repair the broken trust and hurt feelings Noah on the other hand...crossed the Rubicon so to speak..

Oh God!..this is bad... I believe I owe some folks here an apology...I was one of those who was thinking Noah was not all bad..Now am left with egg on my face😅😅 Nick has a lot of damage control to do with his friends...there is going to be a lot of hurt feelings after this chapter.

Oh you are terrifically sneaky,sorr😅😄 ...That scene between Enrico and Ezra ..was just so terrifically tragic ..it had that Jack-Rose Titanic vibe...only without the death thoug.It was really beautiful...love at its best😄😄... When are the tickets to the Defenestration show of Sinclair and Sir Dafaq coming through...I would like to secure a front seat! Thank you!

Indeed....but then like he asserted why must he always be made the scape goat of our own decisions.. This is ,in my opinion, the best chapter of this book...The other being when Stoker tells Hugo that he wanted him and knew he had to have him 😅😅😅

Stoker’s eyes creased with worry, he’d grown fond of his gentleman very fond. The idea of leaving the bumbling academic alone was something that just didn’t sit well with him. He considered defying Wojciech’s instructions, after all he was HIS gentleman… There are moments like those when I believe your inner hopeless romantic bleeds through the page😅😅 Then there is this gem below...I do not know how you come up with such stuff sometimes... That was poetry in action...even though it was an insult😅.. That’s fortunate. It means you may indeed have a frame of reference from which to converse with me. And I do enjoy a good discourse, even if it is with an intellectual inferior such as yourself.”
