I feel like that would be robbing them of their moment..If you added their sex scene it would be just an add on. Personally I feel like they have earned their place in the sun. If you ever get inspired to continue in this universe, Holden/Elion would be a great tale to tell.

That I know...😂..What I meant was in this story , he seems so....restrained in his description of the intimate scenes ..almost tame.... When was reading his latest story(Family life, but not as we know it) yesterday was taken back by the difference in tone. In that story ,he does not spare expense in describing the sex scenes. I was like this cannot be the same Mr.Robert Hugill😂😂😂

This is yet another beautiful chapter....Matt and Gray are coming along well....it's nice to witness😂.. Mr Hugill, pardon me for saying this🤭..Your prose ,especially when it comes to writing intimacy(sex),is exceptional when compared to the other writers here. Each time am reading cannot help but feel you would be a shining example of a good boy in good ,old Victorian England ..The golden age of sexual restraint and prudishness😂😂😂. Like you really restrain yourself in writing the sex bits in this story as compared to your other new story. I couldn't believe it was you when was reading the other new story of yours 😂😂...I guess all am saying it's nice to be surprised, like you are doing ...Like there are two Robert Hugills....one is a rake(the other story) and one is a proper gentleman(this story). Oh..it gets worse than that here...Soldiers are above the law here...especially the officers ..We have lost count of the numbers of cases of Land grabbing involving Generals around here . Like it doesn't surprise folks here anymore ..They can clog up the traffic with their convoys and no one can dare say something about it....they are pretty much untouchable around here.

Now I finally understand something ...those experiences shaped your writing ...I mean look at your works here...They all have an element of Military or National Security and Intelligence in them..... I have not read the previous books in the Carter Saga,I was actually bored and just browsing the day you started posting this one ..and was like let me try it out...The experience so far has been a rich one....the way you describe Intelligence work and now the Military in this chapter is an eye opener to say the least. Talking about all your past experiences with the forces in the comments made me kind of envious...in my country(Uganda),soldiers are treated as though they are otherworldly ...there is this inherent fear that we seem to have when it comes to them that we don't even engage with them. it doesn't help matters that the soldiers themselves reinforce that belief anyway..Here they come off as standoffish and prickly.Maybe it's the frustration of never being paid enough yet have to risk their lives for a country that is made up of corrupt and ungrateful folks(a.k.a government).

Captain Atherton is the living embodiment of Authority...I so like I like how you incorporated Will/Andrew's romance with Andrew's fear coping mechanism...It fully illustrates the depth and scope of their connection. It shows that even though they are currently separated at the moment, their connection grounds them during times of stress....It is so beautiful to read about .. Thank you!

I don't let it consume me past reading. I have this habit of reading a chapter twice before commenting and it sort of acts like a cleansing mechanism. It helps me to dissociate from it all. Usually when I read such dark tales, it can be a little harder to dissociate .Like it takes longer because this is stuff that is hard to take. I am lucky that have never had to experience the stuff you have written about it.Reading about it on page confers upon me an insight on how humans can be so harmful to each other.That is those close to us that have the potential to do the maximum damage to us like Bruno Greene has done to these boys . I find myself hoping next week comes soon ...did you plan it as a 12 chapter tale?

That is the mess that was talking about ...if Lucian hadn't been damaged, reading that diary would have been some sort of epiphany and I reckon he would have abandoned his plan of seduction. However because Bruno Greene thrives on dominating others,at least according to Lucian, getting the video of whatever that shit they are doing is a power play in Lucina's warped pysche

Once again Jamie shows he is naive and really not ready for the limelight. When you are a famous, you are supposed to have a thick skin because they will make up all sorts of weird shit and from this chapter ending, it shows Jamie has failed that litmus test!

When was reading that part I could not help but feel sympathy for poor Daniel. The lad literally has no identity and personality of his own!.He has spent most of his life burying himself to please Bruno Greene.Just so Bruno could 'love' him Just so Bruno could not hurt his brothers. Now he is floundering because of the sexual relationship between Lucian and Bruno and feels like he is being 'replaced' in his father's heart ..He feels adrift ..almost on the precipice😏. This man really damaged these boys that I reckon they may never be fully well adjusted men. Peter had to get away but even then reading about him seems like he has never recovered. Lucian hides behind debauchery and displays signs of self-destructive behaviour.Not to mention his warped way of thought on how to get back at Bruno Greene by creating discord between Daniel and Bruno.. Bruno Greene was cheated on and that betrayal can indeed leave a mark on someone .. What he did to those young boys however is beyond abuse.. It's cruelty!.I reiterate ,from my previous chapter comment, Bruno Greene needs to face justice for the irreparable psychological/Emotional damage he has caused to Peter,Lucian and Daniel. This is a man who is a stain on society...Okay ..now am getting emotional about this...so let me stop here lest I lose my grip on reality😏. Thank you for the update ...can't wait for next week so enough for the next chapter. Blessed day!

The Nick/Jack dynamic is a sight to behold...I mean to read.. one is a messed up boy who is astute at reading people...the other is a hopelessly romantic naive boy whose need to make friends ...and get attention makes him prone to eliciting unwanted attention from folks .. Judging from what @LittleBuddhaTW has said...this has the markings of a slow burn( 45 Chapters) ...so we should buckle up because there is going to be lots of angst, heartache(unrequited crushes) and testosterone fueled mini-brawls😂

I somehow figured Jonah was not just a peripheral character judging from the amount of dialogue you gave him in this chapter..
