What a great bonding day. I love hiking like that but it’s been a long time since I have. Alex’s questions are good, letting his dad know they are OK and he wants to get to know him better. This whole walking Jon off is just insecurity and he needs to face that, or he’s going to loose it. It also seems like Alex has more of a clue about that. And may be able to help…

We learn from Caitlin that this behavior of Joe’s has been happening longer that their conversation about Will loving him. Seems like wince he was out of his home he went crazy, but he did set Will up with Aidan, even if he didn’t consciously know they were both gay, their may have been a subconscious recognition. And the anger seems like a lot of internalized homophobia… The big question is who is in the pool? The story seemed to have started with drowned people in a river if I remember correctly, so it may not be Joey.

This chapter was deep. Connecting emotionally, opening up. Still leaving some things unsaid, but in the end they are comfortable together. Wonder if being around a dragon would prolong the unicorn lifespan? Can’t wait for the dragon to come out and play.

Love that Tony is thinking of Adam and their business and for sure moving back to Thompsonville. Not sure about Randy Thompson for the pen name, could be a bit close to home for the Thompson family the town is named after… Adam was very helpful, and once he recognized Tony was overjoyed. He may need an invite to the party??

That was a big cliffhanger. What is Mother, if she was not a wolf from the inter species breeding options? Ray now know that his presence can lead others who touch him to possibly start to shift. That means he could be used as a weapon… So much more to learn. -
Loving the relationship development, and they happen to be living in a gay friendly area, so hopefully that will help too.

The setup for taking Jamie to see Luca’s film project was perfect. The reaction to seeing himself as the subject of the film, then the emotional unfolding afterwards, brilliantly done. So much in this chapter. Jamie is seen and loved.
